One would think that anyone with any convictions would not play golf with someone who owns a company guilty of so much racial discrimination. However, like another Luc poster previously pointed out, it doesn´t matter to the socialists what color, what checkered past, what crimes committed, as long as they are socialist and/or have LOTS of money to give.
Maybe Obama thought Crane was related to Bob Crane and might have some good video tapes! ha ha. That would be the wrong orientation for Obama though.

When we decide the Jim Cranes don´t matter, we have sunk to a new low.
Maybe a read of the article will convince the apathetic that he is exactly what we don´t want hobnobbing with the president of the United states. And make us wonder why he is there? Contributions. And heaven knows what else.
The Jim Cranes of the world sniff out the Barack Obamas. Can recognize them and find them in a crowded room - or a baseball stadium. Made for each other.

Thanks, Houston media, for keeping us in the dark about what a low-life the new owner is. When Drayton McLane bought the Astros they made a big deal about what a fine Christian man he was and what a great boss he would be--and he was wonderful both for the team and the city. Don´t remember hearing not one word about the new knuckle-dragging owner and the company he keeps.

Have been an Astros fan since the inception in 1962; the Houston Colt 45´s, as they were known (anyone remember Al Spangler, Roman Mejias, Bob Aspromonte, Turk Farrell?). But I will now have to swallow my civic pride and become a Rangers fan. Crony Capitalists (e.g., Buffett, Crane, Imelt) sicken me and I cannot in good conscience support any part of their businesses. Sadly, I have to turn my back on a team that I have loved for 51 seasons. So, I´ll be rooting for the Rangers - while enjoying a hot dog topped with Hunts Catsup - in a home filled with non-GE appliances.

I remember watching Cesar Cendeño play in the Dome when I was a kid. So many disappointing seasons, even the one they got into the World Series ended up typically Astros. Now that Crane is the owner, I have a good reason to root against them.

Crane was a big GOP donor before he went over to the Dark Side. That being the case, do the donks really trust him, or do they just want his dollars. The guy fits right in with the WON and his bunch; with him loyalty is a moving target. Of course if he flips and opens his checkbook for the GOP again he´ll be welcomed back with open arms.

Air Force One arrived at Aldergrove International Airport, 20 miles north of the city, where the President emerged from the plane with his wife, Michelle, and two daughters, Malia, 14, and Sasha, 11. Iran is preparing to send 4,000 troops in to Syria to support Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in the wake of America´s announcement it will be providing ´military aid´ to the country´s Muslim rebels.
