| San Francisco — A Sacramento man was arrested early Monday after he shot up a man´s Western Addition home with an automatic rifle, San Francisco police said. Kareem Benton, 42, got into an argument Sunday night with another man on the 1000 block of McAllister Street and followed the man to his home nearby, said Officer Albie Esparza, a police spokesman. Benton then pulled out a fully automatic AK-47 and "sprayed" the man´s home with bullets just after 7:30 p.m., Esparza said. The victim, who was in his home, was shot in the leg and is expected to survive.

Okay- we all know automatic weapons- fully auto are machine guns! Are illegal. And no large capacity magazines are allowed in Californian- much less San Francisco! And!- Assault weapons all have to be licensed in California- So, we can all be assured this is just a fake story. Could not be real! Californian has made this kind of thing illegal for many, many years!

The article doesn`t state how anyone knows it was an AK-47. If it is indeed that weapon, the article should state whom in the police dept. confirmed it was that weapon.

Of course the government wants the home-owner to have a low-capacity magazine in any gun he owns, so he may be disarmed when he stops to reload. In this case, the one who would be disarming him was intent on murder.

In addition to being illegal to own without paying ungodly taxes, full auto is nearly useless. It guarantees you will miss your target with most if not all of your bullets and possibly hit unintended targets. Spray and pray is the tactic of fools.
It is far better to use semi auto and actually aim. Thats what those little holes on top of the gun are for. They work.

Another example of the efficacy of gun control laws. IF (a big if, I am skeptical)
this was a machinegun version, it has been very tightly controlled since 1934.
Even if it is a garden variety semiauto look alike, the gun and magazines are illegal in California.

WASHINGTON - There were new questions Saturday night concerning if anyone in the White House was aware of the IRS´ targeting of conservative groups. Inspector General Russell George said he informed a deputy at the Treasury Department in June of 2012 about the probe into the IRS. Treasury Secretary Jack Lew on Friday urged congressional leaders to raise the debt limit and insisted that the White House is not going to negotiate over the increase because lawmakers have "no choice." "We will not negotiate over the debt limit," Lew wrote. "The creditworthiness of the United States is non-negotiable. The lawmaker leading the charge to investigate the Benghazi terror attack on Friday subpoenaed the co-author of a report that slammed the State Department but didn´t interview Hillary Clinton. House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) formally demanded that retired ambassador Thomas Pickering submit to being deposed by the committee next Thursday. The subpoena comes in the wake of a series of acrimonious public exchanges this week between the two men.
