| During a news conference on Monday, President Barack Obama addressed a gathering of the nation’s governors and warned about the impact that sequestration cuts could have on their states. He advocated for increased spending on infrastructure projects around the nation, and lashed out at Congressional Republicans who “reflexively oppose any idea that I put forward, even if it’s an idea that they once supported.” Obama advocated for new infrastructure spending as a way to put unemployed Americans back to work, as well as to repair up the nation’s failing roads and bridges.

You had your Stimulus chance and the projects weren´t shovel ready and all that money failed to make the needed improvements. You are blocking Keystone XL, perhaps because it isn´t government funded. The production of almost 2 million barrels a day of oil from shale has demanded pipelines, but they are being built privately without government involvement.

Make Nikita Kruschev appear ´enlightened´ by comparison.
Next Obama-whine? Seems to be all he does - demand adoration - and whine when he doesn´t get it.
And as noted - too bad he didn´t leave his name ´Barry Sotero´ - which would at least put his initials in perspective with his character...

Try submitting a policy which will help & not hurt the country for a CHANGE!
What´s to like about 0bama´s prejudiced, tunnel-visioned, lefty/lib/statist strong-armed yet already FAILED agenda of, ´´Change,´´ in the USA, ´´Land of the FREE and home of the BRAVE?!! ...Have not this country´s patriots fought & died throughout its history in order to remain free from such bigoted ´top-down´ tyranny, beginning with the Founders in America´s War of Independence?!! 0bama´s devistating policies are already dividing the unity of the country, stealing our domestic tranquillity and desimating the economy, and still he wants to pick winners and deem loosers?!! Does he have no respect for the US Constitution, nor America´s principles of Life, Liberty & the Pursuit of Happiness, much less what wisdom & courage it takes to keep our ship of state on freedom´s course? ...Failure is the only demonstrable result of his policies throughout his tenure.
America the Beautiful is a FREE country with an optimistic citizenry, Mr. revenge President! It is not a continually agitated ´´activist´´ socialist country nor is it ruled & dictated by unions, libs, ´gays,´ nor any of the many MANY special interest groups which the dem party panders to, nor is it governed by an Islam monopoly, nor is it ruled by a monarchy, yada, yada, yada.
Pres. 0bama´s policies ALL make him seem like a stranger to the USA, unfamiliar with everything he finds here! ...Where HAS he been all his life?!! -YIKES!!! Why should any state governor approve such statist dem policy failures for their fellow citizens whom they represent?

In 2007, then Senator Barack Obama appeared on CNN´s Larry King Live and called on U.S. Attorney General Alberto Gonzales to resign. Obama said Gonzales was acting more like the president´s attorney than the people´s attorney and viewed himself as an "enabler of the administration." "Well, I voted against Alberto Gonzales confirmation for precisely the reason we are seeing now. I said this on the floor of the senate, that although he seemed to be a capable attorney, he seemed to conceive his role as being the president´s attorney instead of being the people´s attorney," Obama said.

The way to prevent abortionists like convicted murderer Kermit Gosnell from occurring again is to build more Planned Parenthood clinics, Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.) said at a House Judiciary Subcommittee hearing on Thursday about legislation that would prevent abortion after 20 weeks nationwide. “I would urge my colleagues to think about the extent to which he, Dr. Gosnell, represented the poor quality of health care services available in poorer communities,” Nadler said at the Subcommittee on the Constitution and Civil Justice hearing. “We should be working to make sure that high quality

House Speaker John A. Boehner on Thursday flatly ruled out chances of the House passing the Senate’s immigration bill, saying his chamber will debate its own bill instead. The Ohio Republican and his top lieutenants in the party issued a joint statement that seemed designed to tamp down some of the momentum behind the Senate bill, which emerged from a committee on a bipartisan 13-5 vote this week, and to stake out a House GOP position. “While we applaud the progress made by our Senate colleagues, there are numerous ways in which

During friendly questioning from Rep. Hank “I fear that Guam will capsize!” Johnson in Congress last week, Attorney General Eric Holder offered the following statement. In regard to potential prosecution of the press for the disclosure of material. This is not something I’ve ever been involved in, heard of, or would think would be wise policy. He made that statement before the facts about the sweep on Fox News’ James Rosen were known. Since then, it’s come to light that Holder himself approved the subpoena that, among other things, named Rosen as a criminal co-conspirator.

As the saying goes, scratch a liberal and you’ll find a tyrant underneath. NY Gov. Andrew Cuomo is but the latest example. He shoved a very restrictive and ill-considered gun law through the state legislature in the dead of night. Among its flaws, the law criminalized police officers who tote firearms with magazines that hold more than seven rounds. Sheriffs around the state have objected to the law. Cuomo summoned them to the state capitol under what appears to be a false pretext, and used the meeting to threaten them into silence. Cuomo invited

The National Council of La Raza (translation: The Race) has partnered with the Office of Personnel Management to encourage Hispanic activists and members to burrow into the federal government. A workshop sponsored by La Raza/The Race will take place in New Orleans on July 23, 2013. Senior Executive Service (SES) employees are federal government employees in special executive management positions, often with salaries approaching $200,000 per year (and well past that with benefits). OPM, a federal government agency, is cooperating and partnering

Conservative radio host Mark Levin is very skeptical of the idea that President Obama had absolutely no idea about the IRS tea party targeting before the story broke in the news mere weeks ago. Levin declared adamantly that it is a “flat-out, bald-faced lie” that Obama didn’t know beforehand, citing prior reports by a few conservative news outlets picking up on the news well before the 2012 presidential election. Levin said, “I don’t believe for two seconds that Obama wasn’t aware of this.”

President Obama on Thursday nominated Victoria Nuland, a State Department official involved in the editing of the administration´s talking points on Benghazi, to be the next assistant secretary of state for European and Eurasian affairs. Nuland, a career foreign service officer who was until recently State´s top spokesperson, had long been expected to be nominated the post to replace Philip Gordon, who Obama picked to serve as Middle East coordinator for the National Security Council. Nuland´s nomination -- which requires Senate confirmation -- could come under scrutiny from Republicans who see her as playing a central role in shaping

Anthony Weiner’s New York mayoral candidacy was only made more improbable today after he revealed that he visited a Houston psychiatric facility following his resignation from Congress in 2011. Haunted by scandal surrounding his sexually explicit online communications with women, the Democratic former congressman sought treatment for his compulsive behavior from mental health professionals at the Gabbard Center. According to its website, the facility provides “3-day outpatient psychiatric evaluation,” particularly to “professionals who are in personal or professional crises.” While Weiner did not disclose

On Wednesday, Drummer Lee Rigby of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, a man who had served Queen and country honorably in the hell of Helmand Province in Afghanistan, emerged from his barracks on Wellington Street, named after the Duke thereof, in southeast London. Minutes later, he was hacked to death in broad daylight and in full view of onlookers by two men with machetes who crowed "Allahu Akbar!" as they dumped his carcass in the middle of the street like so much roadkill. As grotesque as this act of savagery was, the aftermath was even more unsettling

He sent this memo to his staff today in connection with the federal investigation into an alleged leak to Fox News reporter James Rosen, a story that the Washington Post’s Ann E. For all those who wonder what it is about Ailes that endears his people to him — and that makes him such a good interviewee for any media reporter lucky enough to get an audience
