Tea Partiers cater (and donate to) conservatives.

GOP=king karl & RINOs

Tea Party=Conservative ex-Republicans, and others who have seen the frutilessness of supporting the likes of king karl´s losers.

Furthermore, the RNC funded Akin in the end, so who is to blame for that moron loser? People like king karl of course.

Karl Rove is a "professional" Republican. His job is to elect anyone with an "R" behind their name. If Obama ran as a Republican, Rove would support him.

This is why conservatives need to shake up the GOP. Karl Rove´s way is a losing one. A party that stands for nothing will get nothing.

Just my guess, but Rove seems to think that it doesn´t matter how good your candidates are if they can´t get elected...

"Electability" strategy is a loser, as are the agenda items pushed by this fraud. Consider, GOP had the presidency, the House, and the Senate from 2000-2006. What progress was made for our side? What was undone from the Clinton years? Bailouts, deficits, surveillance apparatus installed, money wasted on green boondoggles, curly lightbulbs mandated.

GOP needs movers and shakers along the lines of what the Dems have, perennially. Look at their progress 2006-2008, or even year 1 of Zero´s reign.

Looking at Rove´s 2012 record of success is less than smelling a "turdblossom". Which Senators nominees did he back win their seats--Zero, Ziltch, Nada.

Who in the name of h.e.l.l. is he to make the comment on an evening Fox cable show that Gov. Palin´s endorsements were not worth "Snot." Weeks later we saw the results---it wasn´t the Senate nominees Rove endorsed that won.

The pragmatist vs the ´purist´ according to the online version of the Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy,2008: "The tough minded have an empiricist commitment to experience and going by ‘the facts’, while the tender-minded have more of a taste for a priori principles which appeal to the mind. The tender minded tend to be idealistic, optimistic and religious, while the tough minded are normally materialist, pessimistic and irreligious. The tender-minded are ‘free-willist’ and dogmatic; the tough minded are ‘fatalistic’ and sceptical."

Or, in Psychological testing terminology, expedient vs. conscientious. Thanks, I´ll stick with the Purists.

Never did like Karl, he can take his follow-the-shiny-ball strategy and go home.

Until the Right decides to mount an all out war to recover all the skeins of American culture that are presently firmly in the hands of the Left, (everything from education to news reporting to entertainment to who runs our polling places) neither the efforts of Karl Rove nor those of the Tea Party are likely to have have much effect on the future. It is possible that America has seen its last right-of-center president for the next two or three generations -- that is is say, if the country lasts that long. Yes, I know. My doctor also says I need to adjust my meds.

Here we go again, lots of people will bring up the example of Akin. Each time Akin is mentioned let´s just remember another shining example, the only one who can beat Obama, - Romney. Which of these two losses caused the most damage?

Does anyone remember the ´stupid´ Palin did not support Akins He was the candidate of Huckabee and estab repubs. Conveniently forgotten fact. So who is to blame for Akin..crossover Dems and not us reform/tea Repubs.

Here, here, Poster 10, excellent point. Rove was one of the first out of the box to cut Akins´ legs out from under him. Apparently, Rove decided to undo the choice of the voters of the state GOP, because he found Akins´ remarks offensive, pulled his financing and let Akin twist in the wind. Nothing like backing your man, Karl.
