Obama: Sequester is Congress´

Hi, everybody. Our top priority as a country right now should be doing everything we can to grow our economy and create good, middle class jobs. And yet, less than one week from now, Congress is poised to allow a series of arbitrary, automatic budget cuts that will do the exact opposite. They will slow our economy. They will eliminate good jobs. They will leave many families who are already stretched to the limit scrambling to figure out what to do.

We have had all kinds of "firsts" when it comes to presidents, but Obama has easily earned the title of "first infantile" president. He reminds me of my children when they were 5-6 years old. "It wasn´t me, daddy". "It was their fault, daddy". But then they grew up. It is a shame that Obama never did grow up and I am afraid he never will.

Yeah, well...Obama has his ´priorities´ - that never ending narcissism thing...

We have ours - impeaching the most law breaking president in US history.

Never has one man done so much damage to a country he supposedly ´leads´.

Everything he said was a bald-faced lie. I am going to relish March 1st and the tally of jobless first responders, teachers, mental health professionals, defense department employees, etc. Then I want the Repubs to put this speech back in Zippy´s ugly face with an ad that screams ´´We can´t trust this liar!´´

Wow, this man-child will say anything to escape responsibility for the mess he himself has created. he got away with owning up on Benghazi fiasco, unfortunately he may get away with the sequester blame game too. the country will survive the sequester with no problem if we have a leader who will set a path to fiscal stability rather than scare the populace with senseless theatrics. The media who has covered for this act needs to be exposed for what they are - lap dogs and talking point regurgitators.

Nothing is his fault. He could not get away with what he does if we had real unbiased journalism in this country. Press and tv news readers cover, shill and praise him and attack the other side instead of reporting the facts.

Obama´s message: It is not my fault, it is the fault of Congress and the other side. I created jobs for the middle class and increased oil production, will not raise taxes on the middle class. Get in the enemy´s face and tell them, I am a star. More taxes on the rich except my friends and those I must bribe to go along with me.

It´s a known fact that Barack Obama and his crew gave birth to the so-called sequester. That is evidenced by the fact that nobody who has been watching WDC politics for ages ever heard of the word sequester before Obama stepped out on the national scene. The sequester is no doubt a hot WDC potato and just maybe this time Obama has overplayed his hand. We will know that soon, will the wimpy Republicans cave again or not?

Calling Foul and Shullbit on this one. This was a proposal that came directly from the White Hut war room in the basement, and was too clever by half when it was made.

A bluff was laid out, and the White Hut got called on it. Making a bid while holding a weak hand, thinking the other fellow would not call and raise you is as risky in politics as it is in poker, and Bronco Bama is no poker player.

And even the ante is not all that large, in the scheme of things. The amount involved in the "sequester" would be a rounding error in the Federal budget.

If we had a Federal budget.

Graduation ceremonies are good times for families and their offspring, which makes them good times for politicians to be around and associate themselves with happiness. President Obama gives four commencement speeches per year--at one public and one private university, one historically black school and one service academy. Just before his epidemic of scandals broke, Obama critiqued the many faults of America and told Ohio State graduates to dismiss cynical talk about over-reaching government and fear of tyranny. Technically, first ladies are not politicians. Most are dutiful if often reluctant campaigners. But Michelle Obama is a glaring exception.

Finally, scientific confirmation of what so many have suspected all along: The strongest of men in varied societies around the world are much more likely to hold conservative political views. Probably much smarter too. While weaker guys, regardless of wealth, are more liberal, into handouts and wealth redistribution because, well, they don´t have the strength to get it and keep it themselves. The reassuring results come from a new study by researchers at Denmark´s Aarhus University.

Hi, I’m Congressman Andy Harris, and this is the Red Tape Tower. 20,000 pages high and seven feet tall, it encompasses all of the regulations already associated with President Obama’s health care law. The red tape, the taxes, the mandates, the tricks, the traps, the fine print … it’s all here. Now: just think about the fact that it’s the IRS that will be responsible for enforcing many of these regulations. If we’ve learned anything this week, it’s that the IRS needs less power.

Hi, everybody. Over the past few months, I’ve laid out a series of commonsense ideas to reignite the true engine of our economic growth: a rising, thriving middle class. The way I see it, there are three areas where we need to focus. One: making America a magnet for good jobs. Two: making sure our workers have the education and skills they need to do those jobs. And three: making sure your hard work leads to a decent living. I’ve also been visiting cities across the country that are doing some interesting and creative things along these lines.

Another awkward day in the unraveling presidency of Barack Obama. Beset by a trio of profound scandals, the Democrat planned Thursday´s message on foreign affairs through a joint news conference with Turkey´s Prime Minister Erdogan, a NATO ally. Unfortunately, Obama´s advance staff was apparently too busy preparing his next campaign stops to check the Washington weather forecast. It set up the news conference outdoors in the Rose Garden. Wouldn´t you know given POTUS´ recent luck, it began raining heavily. Obama [Snip] ordered two U.S. Marines to come hold umbrellas over the leaders´ heads while standing at attention.

Washington, the former swamp steeped now in ambition, acrimony and duplicity, is quite experienced in handling scandals. They erupt regularly like bipartisan blisters. If handled correctly -- take responsibility, be sincere, proactive, contrite and get all the bad stuff out there quickly in one tidy, eminently forgettable package -- scandals can heal and leave barely a scar. Take Barack Obama. Please. His recent behavior and that of his administration in this ongoing bad news blizzard will be case studies for future generations of communications strategists on how not to address crises.

WASHINGTON – The Internal Revenue Serviced scandal today spread further within the White House and closer to President Obama. White House spokesman Jay Carney today disclosed that Obama’s chief of staff, Dennis McDonough, and other top White House officials had advance warning that the IRS was targeting conservative groups. But he insisted McDonough and the other White House officials purposely kept Obama out of the loop.McDonough “rightly chose not to take action” to inform Obama, Carney told reporters at the daily White House briefing.

The Washington Post on Monday reported that Obama’s Department of Justice was investigating journalists before they started wiretapping the Associated Press – for one, Fox News correspondent James Rosen in 2010. Their headline wasn´t "Obama Team Also Spied on Fox News." Fox wasn´t in the headline, on A-1 or on A-12, where the story continued. Newly obtained court documents “reveal how deeply investigators explored the private communications of a working journalist — and raise the question of how often journalists have been investigated as closely as Rosen was in 2010.” Reporter Ann Marimow began:

A senior adviser to President Obama mounted a combative defense of the administration on Sunday, saying the controversies enveloping the White House were the result of Republican lawmakers’ trying to “drag Washington into a swamp of partisan fishing expeditions, trumped-up hearings and false allegations.”The remarks came from Dan Pfeiffer, a member of the president’s inner circle, as he appeared on all five major Sunday morning talk shows in an effort to move the administration past what commentators have described as a “hell week” of controversy and missteps.

WASHINGTON – White House senior adviser Dan Pfeiffer said Sunday Republicans owe Susan Rice, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, an apology for alleging she played a part in formulating the White House’s response to the attacks in Benghazi, Libya, last year that killed four Americans. Pfeiffer said on ABC’s “This Week” that the release of more than 100 pages of Benghazi emails and notes show “beyond a shadow of the doubt” that accusations she tried to change the narrative of what happened in the attacks was false. "And, frankly, I think that many of the Republicans
