How the heck are cops, teachers and firefighters going to get laid off. They are paid from local and state taxes.

Don´t underestimate this guy´s ability to create mischief. I´m guessing he´ll come up with cuts that will target those that will scream the loudest and blame the Republicans the most, and give the MSM the biggest sob stories to run 24/7. Logic and facts will not be enough to counter his diabolical game plan.

As Rush has said, as Jay Sekulow said last night on Hannity - this isn´t a manufactured crisis.... it´s a FAKE crisis.

But - this is what leftists do. It´s right there in their playbook: Create a crisis that only they can fix. Then demonize the other side for not ´´wanting´´ to fix it the lib way, of course. Then screech and instill fear in us rubes about the consequences of not fixing it (the lib way) and hope for full-scale panic.

This is how chaos is created so that the marxists can march in (literally) and quell the rioting.

If this sequester actually comes to pass and the Republicans don´t cave, before OR after, I fear we can expect dire disasters of a true manufactured nature:
- Nid-air collisions or plane crashes (not enough ATCs);
- Fires in either opulent neighborhoods or establishments, or poor neighborhoods (not enough firemen);
- More mass shootings (not enough cops - but until they have total gun control, I expect this anyway);
- Video of teenagers roaming the streets like zombies (not enough teachers); and
- Quite possibly a new terrorist attack on U.S. soil (not enough defense, border or otherwise).

If this fake crisis of theirs doesn´t work, they WILL manufacture some proof that they were right.

Rush Limbaugh said exactly this a week ago or more -- the sequester "hamster" is the equivalent of taking 1.5 CENTS out of $100,000.

It´s all patently absurd but when the media won´t tell the truth and optics trump everything, lies get swallowed whole by the LoFos.

What puzzles me is that the MSM allows itself to be so manipulated. There is no pride in a job well done because the MSM isn´t doing the job at all. They sit back like baby birds with open mouths, waiting for Daddy Obamabird and Mommy Valeriebird to feed them.

Manufacturing a crisis for controlling a population for political purposes is one of the oldest tricks in the book in the oppressed nations in the world, now including the USA. But, hey, listen, something is going on. The WH pressies are showing increasing unease with Obie´s approach.

Suppose something is getting ready to go down regarding the US economy? Even a liberal media outlet does not want to go down with it knowing that some economic hiccup happened that they knew about and chose to not report it at Obie´s threat and mandate.

Everyone´s getting offended by Obama´s rhetoric and actions. Rush is now ashamed. What everyone is missing is that we --- the Informed --- are NOT the target audience for Obama. It is the low info and mis-info´d (by news media) Americans that he is addressing. He won reelection with them and he believes that he can govern with them. He believes he does not need us smarty pants, informed people in order to rule. We don´t matter in his book, and he is not totally wrong in that assessment. We don´t matter and he´s not trying to convince us.

So don´t get so offended nor ashamed. We have a totally different challenge now and that is to take back some of the culture, the university and the news media. And we must start educating the low info´s and mis info´s. Otherwise he and his successors have us checkmated.

I´ll just assume that #9 must have read another article. George Will´s erudite explanation of this administration´s crisis creation is absolutely on point. Together with today´s Woodward column, both should undermine the administration´s line that it´s all the Republicans fault. Unfortunately, that won´t happen. I suspect, as with the Reichstag Fire, truth will be left to the historians.

As Bob Woodward explains nearby, the sequester is the work of Jack Lew and Rob Nabors in the WH, not the Republicans as the president (knowingly) falsely alleges.

The president also knows that he has the authority to allow federal agencies apply the sequester to capital rather than operational budgets, so as to mitigate the effect on essential services.

And as George Will points out, the total amount of the sequester as fraction of federal spending is trivial, and not the disastrous cut that the president´s hysteria would imply.

The budget standoff being staged by this administration is the most egregious act of governing against the good of the country, but rather to play politics with their opponents. It is cheap political theatre of the worst sort.

The president is showing through his rhetoric and actions, that he is either insane,stupid or a habitual liar.
In any ofb the above cases it is time to use the presidenial succession ammendment. have a panel judge his mental competency, and if the outward manifestations prove his mental problems, replace him as provided for in the constitution.
The nation does not need this constant divisive rhetoric.

Why are they calling it sequester? That word means to isolate. What´s that word got to do with cutting funds for the military? It is just another technique to glaze over the eyes of the citizens of the U.S.A. It is double speak, mumbo jumbo, doing a little side stepping. I am so damn sick of this and it is coming from both sides. While I am at it, if the congress was subject to the laws they create and pass, you´d be damn sure they would read them. The statesmen who started this country would be speachless to know what shenanigans are going on now. Shame on them all. We need to start all over and maybe we will be forced to!
