Black Leaders: ‘Direct Correlation
Between Gun Control and Black
People Control’

Gun control dates back to laws before and after the Civil War that prohibited or restricted African Americans from owning firearms, a group of black leaders said Friday at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. “History is [rife] with examples. There’s a direct correlation between gun control and black people control,” Stacy Swimp, president and CFO of the Frederick Douglass Society, said at the event. Swimp compared the call for universal background checks for gun purchase to the time when blacks were required to register with the government. “The first gun laws were put into

Comments:
0bama won´t like this. They should be also concerned about the correlation between their own people and all the crimes committed with illegal guns.

Yep OP and what about the direct correlation between racist, America hating, incompetent corrupt black leaders and the destruction of the black family?

Or how about the direct correlation of the Democrat Party on the slave mentality that exists in the black community?

Why not just take guns away from rich, white people and give them to black people?

It ain´t just black folk they intend to control, Johnson.

Hard to imagine a worse enemy to the blacks than their very own Congressional Black Caucus.

They bought into gun control and abortion to the detriment of their own community.

All for personal power doled out to them by the white leadership in the demonrat party.

When the Northern states freed their slaves, those new Free People of Color were not allowed to move, to own a dog or or own a gun.

In other words, you can´t hunt, you can´t defend yourself and you will stay right where you are and be our source of servants and cheap labor.

"Gun Control" is one of those Chris Matthews racist dog whistle code expressions. Sorta like "Chicago".

The Sullivan Law in New York City was enacted in the early 1900´s IIRC, and it was specifically targeted at blacks to make sure they did NOT have guns. These laws resulted in black people in the urban areas rarely having access to ´legal´ guns. Consequently any black person who wished to stay out of trouble with the law was an easy target for criminals of any color. This certainly continued a vicious cycle where weakness & victimization became the norm. And #1, do you want to rephrase your comment? I´m not sure just what you are implying.

black on black crime is the end result of Liberal policys...make no mistake.
Liberals have ´destroyed´ the Black family structure.....the ´father´ no longer mathers....it is the Government that ´cares´...right???

If it ever dawns on black and white Americans that we have been deliberately pitted against each other for over a century by the uber rich and the "elites" like Obama and the other progressives, there is going to be some hell to pay. What if they try to foment a race war, and instead, black and white come together and turn on THEM? They better be careful about all the inciting they are doing. They might not like the turn it takes.

´Black Leaders´ (including Obama) have always wanted Black Americans to be unarmed.

Who has the greatest chance of getting a concealed weapons permit, a white man or a black man? Of Course gun control is racist.

Reply 12 - Posted by: msjena, 2/22/2013 11:01:37 PM     (No. 9191796)

Chicago´s gun laws were challenged (successfully) by a black man who wanted a gun for self defense.

The underlying cause of black-on-black murder in the cities is gang control of drug market turf. There is nothing racist about it. Legalize all drugs and you will have a lot of death for a short time as the addicts drug themselves into oblivion. Then the need for drugs and guns will go away simultaneously. Gun control does nothing to fix the problem because the lure of easy money will always be there as long as recreational drugs are illegal.

Yep, felons cannot possess firearms. So what´s the news flash?

Should say "Some" black leaders. The article is heartwarming... not just in the support for our 2nd amendment but also that blacks are waking up.

In Chicago, the Poverty Pimps & Obama´s JD insure no gun criminal gets jail time. They have a new Chief of Police who stated it is the reason for all their crime... and stated he wants mandatory sentencing.... We´ll see if Holder will let him.

Heck, #10. The Powers-that-be have been pitting Blacks and Whites against each other since Bacon´s Rebellion in 1676.

From the Wikipedia article, "The alliance between former indentured servants and Africans disturbed the ruling class, who responded by hardening the racial caste of slavery."

The plan was to keep the members of the "servile" class from uniting against the owners and masters.

It seems some in the black community are having their “ I should have had a V-8” moment. The slap to the forehead is more than just a wakeup call.

It is about controlling the whole population. Not just black people. It is about controlling freedom. Gun control controls all people regardless of race and allows the government to dictate; to control the people.

Now if they would just take one more step and understand and admit that it is the democrats that want gun control laws we might actually have something here. Then the black community might finally get a clue the democrats have never been their friend, that the democrats have been using and manipulating them for years to foment racial strife and create the divide between liberals and conservatives.

This and abortion are the two issues Juan Williams would never touch because they lay bare the treachery of the democratic party towards blacks.

What a fantastic talent liberals possess, the ability to talk out of both sides of their mouths. One side utters platitudes about campaign finance reform and the nefarious influence of money in politics, while the other whispers in the ears of oligarchs and plutocrats. One side slanders Republicans as the tools of corporate interests, while the other solicits donations from some of the largest corporations in the world. The next journalist to examine influence peddling on K Street need only walk two blocks south, to H Street.

President Obama and Vice President Joe Biden met with three illegal immigrants who have been granted deferred action legal status in the Oval Office Tuesday. Meanwhile, Obama still refuses to meet with any border security enforcement officers about any aspect of immigration reform. “From Justino Mora, Angie Kim and Mehdi Mahraoui, to Diana Colin and Kevin Lee,” a White House blog entry reads, “all of the stories they shared were full of hope and optimism that one day their family members and their broader communities could realize the dream of becoming citizens of a country that

WASHINGTON - A long-simmering feud between establishment Republicans and tea partyers broke into full view Thursday, with Sen. Tactics for dealing with the government´s budget and debt became the latest quarrel In a string of them between McCain -sometimes joined by other traditionalist Republicans -and tea party champions such as Ted Cruz of Texas, Rand Paul of Kentucky, Mike Lee of Utah and Marco Rubio of Florida. Washington - President Obama, seemingly preoccupied, forgot one piece of protocol as he boarded Marine One on his way to Annapolis Friday. Obama walked past the Marine at the bottom of the helicopter´s stairs and didn´t give the traditional salute. Realizing his mistake upon entering Marine One the president pivoted in the doorway, jogged back down, shook hands and spoke briefly with the Marine before boarding the helicopter for a second time.

Key Democrats say Internal Revenue Service official Lois Lerner didn´t give up her Fifth Amendment rights against self-incrimination by giving an opening statement at a House hearing on Wednesday. Democrats on the Oversight panel said they want Lerner to testify about the IRS’s targeting of conservative groups seeking tax-exempt status, and are not defending her decision to invoke the Fifth Amendment. But Lerner’s Constitutional rights are clear, the Democrats argue, and committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) will be wasting the panel’s time and resources waging a losing battle against her attorneys while the FBI conducts

The public got its first look Thursday at Lois Lerner, who has gone from faceless IRS bureaucrat to the face that launched what feels like 1,000 congressional hearings and conspiracy theories. But it was only a brief sighting since she didn´t stay long at a House hearing to further probe her role in how some IRS workers came to target conservative groups seeking tax-exempt status. (Snip)She did make a short statement to declare her innocence, however. Lerner´s motivation was more transparent than much of what the IRS has done in connection with this controversy. She was determined to

When you get right down to it, the political targeting and stalling of tax-exempt applications by the IRS was an effort to defund the Tea Party. Rick Santelli, one of the Tea Party founders and my CNBC colleague, was the first to make this point. I’ve taken it a step further: The IRS was taking the Tea Party out of play for the 2012 election, as it looked to avoid a repeat of 2010 and another Tea Party landslide. There are a lot of numbers out there.

President Obama on Thursday nominated Victoria Nuland, a State Department official involved in the editing of the administration´s talking points on Benghazi, to be the next assistant secretary of state for European and Eurasian affairs. Nuland, a career foreign service officer who was until recently State´s top spokesperson, had long been expected to be nominated the post to replace Philip Gordon, who Obama picked to serve as Middle East coordinator for the National Security Council. Nuland´s nomination -- which requires Senate confirmation -- could come under scrutiny from Republicans who see her as playing a central role in shaping

On “Fox News Sunday” last weekend, White House aide Dan Pfeiffer was asked about President Barack Obama’s whereabouts the night of the Sept. 11 attack in Benghazi. This was the night when we lost our first ambassador in 30 years, and when three other Americans were killed in an attack that lasted all night long at multiple locations within the eastern Libyan city. Since the president is commander in chief, one would think where he was and what he did during such an event would be of obvious public concern.

House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa said embattled IRS official Lois Lerner waived her Fifth Amendment rights and will be hauled back to appear before his panel again. The California Republican said Lerner’s Fifth Amendment right to avoid self-incrimination was voided when she gave an opening statement this morning denying any wrongdoing and professing pride in her government service. “When I asked her her questions from the very beginning, I did so so she could assert her rights prior to any statement,” Issa told POLITICO. “She chose not to do so — so she waived.”
