The most bizarre legislation we´ve ever had. The Democrats are still trying to say it passed in a bi-partisan vote. They´re trying to use the Republican governors who have signed on for the fed plan as a way of allaying their guilt in this, but it won´t work. Those governors likely wish they never had to make that kind of a decision.
What a mess. A Democrat mess.

This way both parents have to work. Kids are raised by day care centers. The gov´t requires day care centers to have a gov´t issued license.

Repubicans need to start compiling list of those who end up without coverage, and remind voters the Democrats are responsible.
We only really needed some tweeking, but Democrats demanded an entire overhaul.
And we need to remind everyone, multiple times, that "well, that new tax is part of what the Democrats created".

That´s just stupid. Employers were only required to pay a portion of the employee and none of the spouse or children in the past.

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services says it wants as many as 20 percent of its workers to "telework," use an "alternative work schedule," or do both, in order to "reduce green house gas emissions," decrease "employee stress," and give these government workers more time for "planning and preparing healthy meals." So says one of the HHS "performance measures" detailed in an appendix to the department´s latest strategic plan. HHS´s performance measure "4.D.05" says: "Increase the percent employees on telework or on Alternative Work Schedule." Telework means working from home via phone and computer.

WASHINGTON - There were new questions Saturday night concerning if anyone in the White House was aware of the IRS´ targeting of conservative groups. Inspector General Russell George said he informed a deputy at the Treasury Department in June of 2012 about the probe into the IRS. The Treasury Department confirmed the timeline but said they did not know the details of the investigation until last week.(Snip)Marcus Owens ran the tax-exempt division at the IRS for 10 years. Treasury Secretary Jack Lew on Friday urged congressional leaders to raise the debt limit and insisted that the White House is not going to negotiate over the increase because lawmakers have "no choice." "We will not negotiate over the debt limit," Lew wrote. "The creditworthiness of the United States is non-negotiable.
