Hillary Clinton´s Middle East Legacy
American Thinker, by Thomas A. Oakes

Original Article

Most of the time foreign policy barely registers on the radar screens of American voters. That´s why it´s easy for Hillary Clinton fans to promote the false notion that she was a first-rate Secretary of State despite her four-year string of failures. "I´ve done what was possible to do," Clinton told reporters just hours before she resigned. Apparently, it was not possible to strengthen our relationships with allies like Britain, Israel, Canada, Mexico, Poland, and the Czech Republic, but easy to throw the Middle East into turmoil. Clinton´s reset with Russia has been a diplomatic disaster.

Don´t worry PIAPS if you run in 4 years your sub-sub par stint as SOS will be run through the ringer and your previous history as well.

All the way back to "cattle futures."

I questioned many times who started the Arab-Spring in the Middle East and read an article in Canadian Free Press by an investigative reported it was our dear recently retired SOS and the Oval Office occupant behind that. All this to get the Muslim Brotherhood in control and driven by Saudis. Interesting reading by Hagmann and his sources with ties to DHS. Frightening!
Makes the ties of her Assistant to Muslim Brotherhood that much stronger.

Her "legacy" should drive her into not only permanent retirement, but a hermitage as well. A horrid person with a horrid history. The PIAPS needs to go away...far away.

Just ´being there´ is enough for the left to celebrate Hillary as the best ever.

Here legacy is installing Barack Hussein Obama (Pees be upon him)as president so that her policies and goals could be realized. She just needed a vehicle that could not be criticized lest any who would be immediately dismissed as a racist. It remains to be seen if she can ride in and oversee this in 2016. All that could stop her is alcoholism and the attendant degradation of her physical appearance. Pray that she takes a liking to stronger drink.

Our busybody government had absolutely no right to involve us in deposing either Libya´s Ghadaffi or Mubarak´s Egyptian governemt, neither of which were threats to the US.

Now we shall pay and pay and pay.

Repeal the 17th Amendment!
National Review, by Charles C. W. Cooke    Original Article

In our grubby, unhelpful political lexicon, certain words exist solely to end conversations. The most prominent such word is “racist.” Less popular, but by no means less potent, are “democracy” and “rights.” When welded together as “democratic rights,” the pair becomes all-powerful — strong enough to send grown men spinning for the exits and to render eloquent speakers mute. For a good example of this principle in motion, witness the orthodox reaction to anyone who calls for the repeal of the 17th Amendment. (Direct election of senators, if you’re wondering.)

Why Not a $100 Per
Hour Minimum Wage?
American Thinker, by Dan Nagasaki and Glenn Doi    Original Article

President Obama announced that he´s supporting a federal, inflation-adjusted minimum wage increase from $7.25 to $9.00 per hour. Even if he settles for $8 per hour, this seems irresponsible in light of our stubbornly slow economic recovery. But if the government is going to raise the minimum wage, why stop at such a low wage rate? If higher minimum wages are so wonderful, why don´t we just raise the minimum wage to $50 or $100 per hour?

In Defense of Obama’s Drone War
National Review, by Charles Krauthammer    Original Article
Posted By: johngalt1- 2/15/2013 11:57:38 AM     Post Reply
The nation’s vexation over the morality and legality of President Obama’s drone war has produced a salutary but hopelessly confused debate. Three categories of questions are being asked. They must be separated to be clearly understood. 1. By what right does the president order the killing by drone of enemies abroad? What criteria justify assassination? Answer: (a) imminent threat, under the doctrine of self-defense, and (b) affiliation with al-Qaeda, under the laws of war. Imminent threat is obvious. If we know a freelance jihadist cell in Yemen is actively plotting an attack, we don’t have to wait

The Growth Agenda

Since its electoral defeat last November, the Republican party has struggled to find its footing. It should be clear by now that merely waging guerrilla warfare against the Obama administration on a miscellaneous set of peripheral issues won’t do. Rather, what is needed is an independent agenda organized around a central theme that is readily comprehensible to the American people and designed to deal with the critical problems facing the nation. That agenda can only be economic growth. Economic growth must be the central issue because it is only through growth that the devastating threat of national bankruptcy can

It’s 4:20 p.m. on a dreary Monday and Marco Rubio is pacing beside his desk, a black handset pressed to his ear. He’s on the phone with conservative talk-radio host Michael Medved. A few minutes earlier, he was on an online radio program. After he finishes with Medved, he’ll call Newsmax, a conservative news website. On Tuesday, he’ll dial Rush Limbaugh. Between calls, Rubio monitors Twitter on his laptop and phone and keeps an eye on C-SPAN, which is broadcasting Senate floor speeches. He occasionally sips from a bottle of mineral water. “Who’s next?” Rubio asks, turning toward his press

Carbon Use and GDP

In his inaugural address on January 21, President Obama invoked great ideals of human dignity, equality, and most especially “progress” to justify his second-term agenda, a cornerstone of which will be a crusade to limit humanity’s use of carbon. In fact, nothing could be more antithetical to the goal of advancing the human condition than restricting carbon consumption.

Former Rep. Anthony Weiner, whose career in public life came to an abrupt end when he sent lewd pictures to a college student on Twitter, jumped back into politics on Wednesday by announcing a bid for mayor of New York City. “Look, I’ve made some big mistakes and I know I’ve let a lot of people down,” the Democrat said in a 2-minute video announcing his bid. “But I’ve also learned some tough lessons. I’m running for mayor because I’ve been fighting for the middle class and those struggling to make it for my entire life.

The dam protecting the IRS scandal began to crack today when Lois Lerner, the IRS official who announced, and apologized for, the improper singling out of conservative-leaning organizations by IRS employees under her command, announced through her criminal defense lawyer that she will not testify as scheduled tomorrow before the House Oversight Committee. Rather, she will assert her Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination. This marks an enormous milestone in the IRS investigation. It can now be taken as more or less established that crimes were committed by Obama administration employees. Lerner’s lawyer tried to minimize the significance

The public got its first look Thursday at Lois Lerner, who has gone from faceless IRS bureaucrat to the face that launched what feels like 1,000 congressional hearings and conspiracy theories. But it was only a brief sighting since she didn´t stay long at a House hearing to further probe her role in how some IRS workers came to target conservative groups seeking tax-exempt status. (Snip)She did make a short statement to declare her innocence, however. Lerner´s motivation was more transparent than much of what the IRS has done in connection with this controversy. She was determined to

When you get right down to it, the political targeting and stalling of tax-exempt applications by the IRS was an effort to defund the Tea Party. Rick Santelli, one of the Tea Party founders and my CNBC colleague, was the first to make this point. I’ve taken it a step further: The IRS was taking the Tea Party out of play for the 2012 election, as it looked to avoid a repeat of 2010 and another Tea Party landslide. There are a lot of numbers out there.

One of two men allegedly being questioned in connection with the Boston Marathon bombings was shot and killed by an FBI agent in Florida on Tuesday, (Snip)A friend of Ibragim Todashev said he and Todashev were being investigated as part of the Boston bombings. He said Todashev, 27, knew bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev because both were MMA fighters. The man claims he and Todashev were interviewed by the FBI for nearly three hours on Tuesday. The friend said he left the interview, and when he came back to the apartment he found that there had been a shooting.

What´s so interesting about 60 tea partiers protesting the IRS in San Jose, California on Tuesday, May 21st? The fact that this bit of information was conveyed to the protesters by a Department of Homeland Security officer who was also in attendance. What was a DHS agent doing at the San Jose Tea Party protest? (snip) they weren´t just spying on us in San Jose and monitoring us in San Francisco, they were watching us throughout the entire state

Eva Longoria is backing up her beauty with a whole lot of brain. The actress graduated with a master´s degree Wednesday. Longoria, 38, took home a real degree (not an honorary one) in Chicano studies from Cal State Northridge, where she physically attended classes for three years, according to TMZ. "Big day today!!! Very excited to graduate for my master´s degree in Chicano studies! You´re never too old or too busy to continue your education!" the actress wrote on her Who Say site Wednesday, sharing loads of pics of her big day, posing with her family, cohorts and diploma.
