Obama: Helping rich only thing
that ´binds´ GOP together

Politico, by Glenn Thrush

Original Article

President Obama, speaking to a very friendly Al Sharpton as part of a round with black broadcasters Thursday, offered a harsh assessment of the GOP -- arguing that their opposition to taxing the wealthy was the only thing keeping an otherwise deeply divided party from falling apart. Speaking about the looming sequester deadline, Obama said: "My sense is that their basic view is that nothing is important enough to raise taxes on wealthy individuals or corporations, and they would rather see [billions in sequester cuts to social programs]... That´s the thing that binds their party together at this point."

When is the GOP going to fight back? There is so much ammunition, such as crony capitalism, to point out Obama´s hypocrisy.

Actually Obama, The GOP is the party that supports and protects the military from democrats.
There is NO reason to cut anything from the military. It is the money like the Solyndra fiasco going down the crapper where cuts MUST be made. Not one penny should be cut from the military until serious spending cuts have been made, and waste, fraud and abuse is curtailed. Start there and then get back to us.

I wish the Republicans would make just one last definitive statement. If a person is so stupid as to believe this incompetent Marxist and his sycophant media, then the Democratic Party is the place for you. An average IQ of a billiard ball would be a stretch for most of them. It´s demeaning for a party of principles to cater to such people.

These stupid Democrats make no sense. Why would everyone in the GOP want to put all their effort into "helping the rich" as if they are somehow a downtrodden underdog? Come on! If anything the Dems are the ones funneling cash to all their fat cat friends because their fat cat friends give back a lot in campaign contributions. But the general public doesn´t know it and that is why they get away with it. But why would regular everyday middle-class Repubicans want to make rich people richer? They wouldn´t. Stupid leftists are always lying and projecting their character flaws onto everyone else.

Obama encourages discord and division at every turn. This class warfare strategy has been the cornerstone of Communism since the violent Bolshevik takeover in Russia in the early years of the 20th Century.

I frequently think of the Bible verse, "A house divided against itself cannot stand." The same is true for nations. Obama knows this and pits unions against non-union workers, blacks against whites, liberals against conservatives, legitimate citizens against illegal aliens, non-gun owners against gun-owners, global warming advocates against those who believe it is a bogus political movement, and yes, rich against poor.

Obama does everything he can to weaken and destroy America. The sooner we are rid of him the better our nation will be.

Does anyone else find it offensive that Obama invites a group of black only broadcasters? I thought separate but equal was ruled unconstitutional decades ago. Are there also white-only round tables at WH, besides MSNBC? Mulatto only? Hispanic only? If a corporation held black only shareholder meetings, the EEOC would be subjecting firm to fines.

The accusation of protecting the rich is only a red herring. Always has been. Obama and the Democrats claim to raise taxes on rich folks and actually raise taxes on middle income people on up. It´s a win win for Obam and the dems. Win by blaming the rich, win by raking in the moola.

Now that it´s become increasingly clear that the rich don´t pay taxes anyway, maybe it would be a good time for the Republicans in Congress to choose another issue to focus on instead of saving the rich from the higher taxes they don´t pay.

Obama´s nominee for Treasury Secretary, Jack Lew, recently defended his use of a tax shelter at his Senate confirmation hearings by stating that what he did was perfectly legal. And if Mr. Lew, an Orthodox Jew, thinks it´s kosher to have a secret bank account in the Cayman Islands, why shouldn´t every rich person take advantage of such an opportunity? And most do.

The Republicans´ notion that if rich people had more money, they´d start more businesses, is as much of a fallacy as the Federal Reserve´s notion that if banks had more money they´d make more housing loans.

The reason people aren´t buying more houses is because we´re in a recession and they can´t afford them, even though the Fed has flooded the banks with money.

And the reason rich people aren´t starting businesses is also because we´re in a recession and people can´t afford to buy the products that new businesses would produce, not because rich people don´t have enough money to invest.

The Republicans should make a deal with Obama: they´ll agree to raise taxes on the wealthy, which the wealthy won´t pay anyway, if the Democrats agree to make spending cuts large enough to reassure investors and bond-rating agencies that the U.S. is fiscally responsible enough to avoid turning into Greece.

When it comes to tracking the cost of Obama family vacations, there are two primary challenges. First, the Obamas are prolific jet-setters, so there are many details to track. Second, the Obama administration, clearly embarrassed by these lavish and frequent family vacations, stonewalls the release of records at every turn. But we have been relentless in pursuit of this information. Our attorneys file the lawsuits and make our case, and our investigators pour through pages of records and crunch the numbers. And the information we’ve uncovered – information that would otherwise remain under lock and key – shows that the

Vice President Joe Biden really did get ahead of President Barack Obama on accepting gay marriage in 2012 — and the White House really wasn’t happy about it, despite the two leaders’ many attempts to claim otherwise. That’s the story laid out in Jo Becker’s new book, “Forcing the Spring,” which documents the past few years of successful efforts to expand the legalization of gay marriage, according to an advance copy obtained by POLITICO. Speculation that Biden’s comments on “Meet the Press” in May 2012 were meant as a trial balloon, Becker writes, came from people “not privy to the

The study’s findings, to be published Wednesday in the Journal of Neuroscience, are similar to those of past research linking chronic, long-term marijuana use with mental illness and changes in brain development. Toddlers show racial bias when picking playmates, a study reveals. They also take account of how fairly others behave. Researchers tested the reaction of white 15-month-olds as toys were distributed. Two white adults divided the toys, one equally and the other unequally. Seventy per cent of the toddlers chose to play with the researcher who distributed the toys fairly. But in a second test, when one researcher favoured a white recipient over an Asian one, they picked the ‘fair’ researcher less often, the journal Frontiers in Psychology reports. And the babies are more likely to help those who share the same ethnicity, which is known as
