| When First Lady Michelle Obama steps out of her White House Picture Frame on her end of February nationwide tour, to take credit for not only halting—but reversing—childhood obesity, folk should be thinking “fertilizer”. The White House crediting Obama’s failed Let’s Move initiative as salvation for obese children everywhere is well fertilized with the same matter fertilizing her White House ‘organic’ garden. Sludge (human excrement) has fertilized the White House garden ever since the Clintons were in residence.

We don´t need to remove "junk food" (a very arbitrary term) from food stamps. What we need to do is get rid of all the fraud, illegal aliens on FS, and make it, and all other non-disability government benefits, temporary only with limits on how often one may apply.
Anyway, I love Judi! She is funny. But it is too bad she didn´t have the info from the other article on childhood obesity:

Between 1999 and 2010, children´s average energy intake dropped from 2,258 calories per day to 2,100 calories per day for boys; and from 1,831 calories per day to 1,755 calories per day for girls.(Snip) between 2007 and 2010, childhood obesity levels stabilized, and did not increase as they had in previous years. The drop in children´s energy intake may have contributed to the leveling off of obesity levels, Ervin said."

Has any study been done that matches doing away with outside play recess and gym class (PE) to obese kids? I worked 1/2 day my Senior year of HS, enough academic Regent credits and a National Honor Society recipient but could not graduate without gym class completion in 12th

Nobody drowned or died at Watergate. Nor was the First Amendment done away with. It’s time to quit referring to the White House’s current plethora of scandals as “Gates”. There is no Benghazi Gate. Watergate was a bungled break in. The Obama administration’s current round of scandals shouldn’t be diminished by comparisons to something as relatively trivial as Watergate. An American ambassador and three courageous Americans died at Benghazi and we still don’t have the slightest idea where the Commander in Chief was during the eight hour fire fight.

On “Fox News Sunday” last weekend, White House aide Dan Pfeiffer was asked about President Barack Obama’s whereabouts the night of the Sept. 11 attack in Benghazi. This was the night when we lost our first ambassador in 30 years, and when three other Americans were killed in an attack that lasted all night long at multiple locations within the eastern Libyan city. Since the president is commander in chief, one would think where he was and what he did during such an event would be of obvious public concern.

House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa said embattled IRS official Lois Lerner waived her Fifth Amendment rights and will be hauled back to appear before his panel again. The California Republican said Lerner’s Fifth Amendment right to avoid self-incrimination was voided when she gave an opening statement this morning denying any wrongdoing and professing pride in her government service. “When I asked her her questions from the very beginning, I did so so she could assert her rights prior to any statement,” Issa told POLITICO. “She chose not to do so — so she waived.”
