| The Democrats are running around like Chicken Little of "the sky is falling" fame, forecasting the dire results of sequestration foisted upon us by the bad Republicans. Our military will dissolve instantly, ships will disappear from the sea, little kids will lose their babysitters at Head Start and all kinds of draconian things will befall the country. As usual it is just so much hogwash that is meant to play to the low information voters whom we have plenty of.(Snip) I am waiting for him to blame George W. Bush, who has been blamed for everything that the

In the ongoing debate about ´malice or ignorance´ as the prime mover for our Beloved Leader, I would offer this: Obama can cause the pain and suffering he predicts after the sequester even if the sequester itself does not. Or he could mitigate the suffering through his own actions. We all know that the left is willing to create ´evidence´ to win most any argument.
This would be proof of malice.
I should say....even more proof.

Stop welfare and free phones first. Then if at all look at (the already meager) salaries and support of those who go into harms way for our freedom. Its a no brainer.

An appropriate response to this nonsense would be a household analogy, "Faced with a smaller payraise than anticipated ,The Demo household has responded that they can no longer buy baby food or Grandmas medicine". Further inquiry has revealed that the booze and cigarette budget are untouched abd the trip to Vegas and Hawaii vacation are still on.

I am appalled by the ignorance of the big spenders. We have a president that just cannot stop spending; he does not care about the economy or circumstances; he wants what he wants. He prints 83 Billion Dollars each month, piles on 1 Trillion Dollars of Debt each year, and he refuses to compromise with the Republicans. Sequestration was his idea in the first place, as it just "kicked the can" down the road. Here we are two years later, he got his tax hike on the rich, it paid for three weeks of his spending, and now he is crying that we just cannot cut. Get over it. Stop spending and cut across the board; if we do not do this, we are doomed.

It´s just the bigger version of every school board´s favorite ploy -- if we don´t raise taxes, we´ll have to cut the football program.

I do not understand what the problem is. Obama clearly stated that energy prices would ´necessarily skyrocket´. Higher energy prices mean higher prices for everything. This is exactly what the voters asked for.
Just wait until the federal minimum wage is raised.

The president DOES believe we are fools and the election proved he is correct. He can say and do anything and the press supports him and the public believes him.
You can whine about the insanity of it all but it will do no good. The majority of the public believes BO even if they don´t like the actual circumstances they find themselves in. Most people do not connect any of the problems of the country back to their source, BO and a failed progressive agenda.
Until Republicans learn how to get the public trust, the progressives will win.

Instead of furloughs, how about a 20% pay cut (and corresponding cut in pension benefits). How many of you have had to settle for less so that government employees enjoy their $100k+ paychecks.

We live in an age of surveillance. Right now, more information about us is available to more entities faster and easier than ever before. The FBI has been floating a plan to require all client-side communications software — be it voice, video, or text — to include mandatory backdoors that can be activated by law enforcement bodies to silently eavesdrop on any traffic coming in or out of that program. This will allow authorities to circumvent message-level encryption, which has stymied their current efforts.

MADISON, Wis.--Another year, another campaign. Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker is gearing up for re-election next year, his third race in four years. But the Republican’s courting of out-of-state donors and conservatives, his plans to visit Iowa this week and his refusal to say whether he would serve out another full term if elected suggest he might be seeking a much bigger prize — the presidency. Not that he will openly acknowledge as much.

This is a tale that would bring a smile to the face of Josef Mengele, Adolf Hitler and Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger: the true story of a black abortionist making a fortune killing black babies — and occasionally a black mother — in the filthiest conditions imaginable.(Snip)Perhaps most disturbing in the report is this: “The search team discovered fetal remains haphazardly stored throughout the clinic — in bags, milk jugs, orange juice cartons, and even cat food containers.” Toilets were back up, clogged with body parts from murdered babies: Black babies, Asian babies, babies whose

Let me start with the demise of the Dictator of Venezuela, Hugo Chavez, who succumbed to cancer after his extensive treatment in Cuba.(Snip) It is possible that he may yet get the Nobel Peace award posthumously for his nationalizing businesses and bringing 24 percent, or there about, inflation to his country. It is amazing that a country blessed with humongous oil reserves should still have naked poverty and huge unemployment after 14 years of enlightened rulership. "Ok, the Republicans surprised us and hung tough on cutting some of the increase we´d hoped for in next year´s budget: what are we gonna do bout dat? Well Sir, we at INS have already taken action to show the public how painful those cuts will be. We´ve already released more than 2,000 illegal immigrants we´d held in our detention centers.(Snip)...cut the ammunition provided to front line troops. A group of whistleblowers, including a number of aviation experts, have come forward in a new documentary to claim that the official explanation for the crash of TWA Flight 800 was wrong and a gas tank explosion did not bring down the flight off the coast of Long Island 17 years ago. However, the six whistleblowers, all part of the original investigation team, stopped short of saying the plane was shot down. Flight 800, a Boeing 747, had just taken off from JFK airport with 230 people aboard on July 17, 1996 enroute to Paris when it exploded

An attorney whose firm represents two Benghazi whistleblowers said Gen. Martin Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, lied to the Senate when he said there was never a “stand down” order during the Benghazi attack on Sept. 11, 2012. “What was fascinating is that he explained his lie to them,” Joe DiGenova, an attorney representing one of the whistleblowers, told CNSNews.com. “He actually said they were sent to Tripoli. They were needed in Benghazi,” said DiGenova, a former U.S. attorney, now with the Washington firm of DiGenova & Toensing.

Amid a steady rise of backlash, Edward Snowden, the 29-year-old former National Security Agency contractor who was the source of a spring of leaks about the agency´s surveillance methods, conducted a live chat on The Guardian´s website Monday morning. Judging from some of the pointed questions he´s been asked and the reaction to newly leaked revelations over the past few days, it´s clear that much of the sympathy and support Snowden had built up for his early exposures is eroding. Many Americans supported his decision to leak information about a pair of National Security Agency surveillance programs, which, he detailed, gathered information

Likening religious schools to segregation--a racist system that forced blacks to attend different schools and use different facilities than whites in the American South--President Barack Obama told a town hall meeting for youth in Belfast, Northern Ireland on Monday that there should not be Catholic and Protestant schools because such schools cause division. "Because issues like segregated schools and housing, lack of jobs and opportunity--symbols of history that are a source of pride for some and pain for others--these are not tangential to peace; they’re essential to it,"

Listening to Barack Obama give his speech in Belfast on Monday, it was hard not to stifle a yawn. I kept waiting for the part when he would say something interesting, but, about three quarters of the way through, realised it wasn’t going to come. Judging from television pictures some of his young audience felt the same, after the initial rush of euphoria of receiving the rock star president in their midst had passed. This is not surprising, for we had already heard this number about the inspirational role of the Northern Ireland peace process and the Emerald Isle’s

Charlie Rose last night asked President Obama his new Syria policy. The president first objected to it being called a new policy. "I´m not sure you can characterize this as a new policy. This is consistent with the policy that I´ve had throughout," he said. Obama then explained the goal is regional stability, and especially in Syria. "Really, what we´re trying to do is take sides against extremists of all sorts and in favor of people who are in favor of moderation, tolerance, representative government, and over the long-term, stability and prosperity for the people of Syria," said Obama.

Marco Rubio. Paul Ryan. The IRS. Illegal immigration. And fraud to the tune of billions.. Now there’s a combustible mix. Let’s start with the IRS, illegal immigration and fraud. We’ll come back in a minute to Senator Rubio and Congressman Ryan. For those who came in late, a year before the IRS scandals burst onto the scene in early May of 2013, an alert investigative reporter for WTHR-Indianapolis (Channel 13), Bob Segall by name, produced a stunning piece of journalism. Segall’s video report is found here and we will quote from his story for the basics.
