Sandra Fluke joins Planned Parenthood
to push Obamacare birth control

Washington Examiner, by Paul Bedard

Sandra Fluke, President Obama´s Democratic National Convention spokeswoman for Obamacare-supplied birth control, has joined with Planned Parenthood to urge Americans to speak out in support of no co-pay birth control. In an email to supporters, Fluke, who in February 2012 was blocked from testifying before Congress and later hit by Rush Limbaugh on his radio show, wrote: "I´m proud to stand with Planned Parenthood and President Obama as we work to expand access to affordable birth control. And I´m proud to stand with millions of women and men -- including you -- who are fighting for women´s

Comments:
How shocking. s/o How much taxpayer money is going toward this political hack´s salary? This blatant lie that people are blocking women from access to essential health care is outrageous. And yet no one rebuts these lies.

No one is trying to "silence" her. We´re just telling her that we don´t want to subsidize the promiscuous behavior of college students. And the colleges shouldn´t have to either.

Finally! Someone to pay for her birth control...and abortions, should she need one or ten.

This tool should be thanking Rush Limbaugh every day of her life. If Rush hadn´t called her a slut on the radio, she would still be nothing more than a 30 year old plus professional student.

Reading that headline too quickly, I guess. For a moment, I thought they were going to perform an abortion on Obamacare.

Good thing Bam Bam is dealing with something important like abortions rather than the economy.

Sandra, if your cheapskate dates won´t pay for your contraceptives then you should consider a higher level of ´engagees´ who would be willing to toss you a few bucks to cover your needs. I could care less if you get mated or not but why should I or any taxpayer have to fund your rompings? By the way, you picked a real winner to work for. He´s a pro at what you do, but the American people are tired of getting the shaft with no foreplay...

Did Sandra check to see if PP offers free contraceptive coverage before taking the gig? Now she can use that $9 a month she spends on the pill and buy some makeup from the health and beauty aids section instead of standing in line at the Walmart pharmacy.

She and her boss are great examples of the need for birth control and I think we can all agree she is a pill.

Rush made her a household name and in doing so gave the democrats the issue they needed to bury Romney. It was Rush that fanned the fire and got Obama reelected.

Somewhere I saw a cute line:

"I´ll pay for your contraceptives when you pay for my Ammo".

President Obama on Thursday nominated Victoria Nuland, a State Department official involved in the editing of the administration´s talking points on Benghazi, to be the next assistant secretary of state for European and Eurasian affairs. Nuland, a career foreign service officer who was until recently State´s top spokesperson, had long been expected to be nominated the post to replace Philip Gordon, who Obama picked to serve as Middle East coordinator for the National Security Council. Nuland´s nomination -- which requires Senate confirmation -- could come under scrutiny from Republicans who see her as playing a central role in shaping

America´s 100 million cable and satellite subscribers are forced to pay ever-higher bills for a growing number of channels they do not watch. The American people are being ripped off. Meanwhile, services such as iTunes and Netflix have led a revolution in how consumers purchase and experience music and video entertainment. They have upended entire industries to allow consumers to buy digital content where they want, when they want. Amid all this change, two entrenched interests — the cable television and video programming industries — have teamed up to use federal regulations to stack the deck against consumers.

Conservative radio host Mark Levin is very skeptical of the idea that President Obama had absolutely no idea about the IRS tea party targeting before the story broke in the news mere weeks ago. Levin declared adamantly that it is a “flat-out, bald-faced lie” that Obama didn’t know beforehand, citing prior reports by a few conservative news outlets picking up on the news well before the 2012 presidential election. Levin said, “I don’t believe for two seconds that Obama wasn’t aware of this.”

President Obama is a little uneasy with the way journalists have been dragged into the Justice Department’s aggressive pursuit of national security leak investigations. In fact, he has ordered Attorney General Eric Holder to conduct a 45-day review of the department’s guidelines on the issue. That bit of news was buried in the middle of the president’s hourlong speech today at National Defense University. “Journalists should not be at legal risk for doing their jobs,” President Obama said. “Our focus must be on those who break the law.” And then the news: “I have raised these issues with

Anthony Weiner’s nascent mayoral campaign is off to a rough start. Weiner made his candidacy for mayor of New York official in the wee hours of Wednesday morning, and since then there’s no indication that the process is going particularly well. The former rising star in the Democratic Party can’t shake the scandal that forced him to resign from Congress, and he may be throwing fuel on the fire. Asked this morning whether there was another shoe to drop in the sextweeting scandal that ousted him, Weiner admitted, Well, yeah.

White House press secretary Jay Carney could only explain his problems on Wednesday by telling reporters, "[T]here are a lot of you, and you´re good at your jobs and you´re smart." As easy as it might be for Carney to lob such insincere praise at former journalistic colleagues, such posterior osculations must be embarrassing for a White House so accustomed to having the press in its back pocket. Carney´s job has become more difficult in the past two weeks. Where his explanations were accepted at face value in the past, he is now met with deep skepticism. Suddenly, the

WASHINGTON – First she refused to testify. Now Lois Lerner, the IRS official at the center of the agency scandal, is refusing to resign, according to a top Republican senator. Sources confirmed to Fox News earlier Thursday that Lerner, the head of the IRS division that oversaw the unit targeting conservative groups, had been placed on administrative leave, with pay. But Sen. Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, claimed she was only put in that status after refusing to step down. He said the commissioner was in his right to demand her resignation, and said taxpayers

Former Rep. Anthony Weiner, whose career in public life came to an abrupt end when he sent lewd pictures to a college student on Twitter, jumped back into politics on Wednesday by announcing a bid for mayor of New York City. “Look, I’ve made some big mistakes and I know I’ve let a lot of people down,” the Democrat said in a 2-minute video announcing his bid. “But I’ve also learned some tough lessons. I’m running for mayor because I’ve been fighting for the middle class and those struggling to make it for my entire life.

The public got its first look Thursday at Lois Lerner, who has gone from faceless IRS bureaucrat to the face that launched what feels like 1,000 congressional hearings and conspiracy theories. But it was only a brief sighting since she didn´t stay long at a House hearing to further probe her role in how some IRS workers came to target conservative groups seeking tax-exempt status. (Snip)She did make a short statement to declare her innocence, however. Lerner´s motivation was more transparent than much of what the IRS has done in connection with this controversy. When you get right down to it, the political targeting and stalling of tax-exempt applications by the IRS was an effort to defund the Tea Party. Rick Santelli, one of the Tea Party founders and my CNBC colleague, was the first to make this point. I’ve taken it a step further: The IRS was taking the Tea Party out of play for the 2012 election, as it looked to avoid a repeat of 2010 and another Tea Party landslide. There are a lot of numbers out there.

On “Fox News Sunday” last weekend, White House aide Dan Pfeiffer was asked about President Barack Obama’s whereabouts the night of the Sept. 11 attack in Benghazi. This was the night when we lost our first ambassador in 30 years, and when three other Americans were killed in an attack that lasted all night long at multiple locations within the eastern Libyan city. Since the president is commander in chief, one would think where he was and what he did during such an event would be of obvious public concern.
