| RUSH: I have to tell you, folks, I´m getting profoundly confused here as I listen to everybody talk about the sequester. Of course we´re one day closer now. Every day takes us one day closer. It´s a quirk of the calendar. Every day we get closer to it. And I´m gonna tell you, I don´t know what´s gonna kill more people now -- assault weapons, global warming, or the sequester. If you listen to Obama and his minions in the news media, they´re all running neck and neck.

There is no question which is the most deadly. It´s Global Warming. GW is world wide, you cannot escape it. Assault weapons and sequester are local U.S. problems. You can escape them by moving to another country. Say England for instance.

I think that maybe GW is only a US problem - with our warmish winters lately. England - and the rest of Europe - have been in the grip of unseasonably cool temperatures for almost a decade. Of course - throwing in the icier Antarctic region - it probably just adds up to a nothing burger.
As for sequestration - I feel like one of those cackling ladies who did their knitting as they watched the French political prisoners being brought to the guillotine.

On her radio show yesterday, Fox News provocateur Andrea Tantaros mouthed an impassioned defense of journalists against the intrusions of the Obama administration: Let me tell you how people and journalists are being treated these days. They are being stalked, they are being spied on. In Missouri, a news station fired an anchor who talked about the IRS shakedown. Yeah, fired. This is how corrupt the left is.
