Kerry comes out swinging
on climate change

The Hill [Washington, DC], by Ben Geman

Original Article

John Kerry used his first major speech as secretary of State to make that case that failing to confront climate change means missing big economic opportunities — and worse. “If we waste this opportunity, it may be the only thing our generation — generations — are remembered for. We need to find the courage to leave a far different legacy,” Kerry said in a wide-ranging address at the University of Virginia. Kerry again signaled that he hopes to use his role as top diplomat to promote green energy technologies, arguing they can

Comments:
We need to find the courage to leave a far different legacy?? He and his comrades sure are, one of despair and destruction. I must have missed the part of the article that says these are all blatant lies and climate change is based on fraudulent "science." s/o

So typical ... big egos like Kerry and Gore think they can control the climate. How many private planes, homes, boats and vehicles do they own?

There is one thing they can do though ... stop with all the hot air.

Only a Democrat would want the people of the US and the world to be worse off than this and earlier generations. Kerry, Obama, Lisa Jackson are excellent examples of why normal people distrust elites.

Hey, Johnny. A rising tide lifts all yachts! What do you care? Where is it tied up today, Rhode Island or Massachusetts?

Let me guess how this ´economic opportunity´ works. We loan money to foreign governments, who then buy bad technology from American companies who use foreign parts and labor to create their products. The heads of those companies who have bought access and influence in DC make out well while other Americans see zero benefit.

Typical of the stupid party. People may not care about climate change - but they do care about clean air and water - the do care about being good stewards of the earth we inhabit. Why doesn´t the GOP take the lead on that and leave climate change and that whole argumnet to the dems?

I thought Kerry was Secretary of State, not EPA and/or Energy. He´s already overstepping his bounds.

Lead by example, Mr. Kerry. On your next trip to Europe, use your yacht. On the way back, sail by Somalia for some excitement.

No doubt there remain some Americans who take John Kerry seriously - but I suspect their number is not very great. There is something grotesque about his pretensions to wisdom. Looking at the rogue´s gallery of celebrity Democratic politicians, including Barack Obama, the common denominator is narcissism. Few if any of these people have ever actually achieved anything, supported themselves, or done anything except talk and make speeches. Yet they hold themselves in the highest possible regard as they prance and parade around lecturing the rest of us on how to think and behave. A citizenry capable of elevating such mediocrities to positions of authority and high estate has nothing to brag about.

What a dismal thought, that we are now going to have to hear, if not exactly listen to someone of the caliber of John Kerry presuming to instruct us about every pet personal idea he has that he thinks important. Where these people got the idea they are so special is a mystery.

Good grief! This is supposed to be a Sec. of State?

The Norks, Chicoms, Al-Qaeda, Russkies, Taliban, Hamas, Hezbollah, Mullahs - - and various others miscreants - - are running wild and posing an existential threat to our beloved country - - and this doofus talks about the hoax known as "climate change"?

There´s no hope, my friends - - there really isn´t. We are DOOMED.

So the pouffe has come out swinging with a baret on top of his transplant dome and a slice of brie cheese in one hand to smear on his bagguette, while shaking his hopelessly out of date fist into the air to so chant from a late 60´s slogan. He tried to be cool by offering the hand dap to his russian federation counterpart. But to his consternation found that russians do not dap. Still dillusional and determined to be both hopelessly out of touch and cool, he will continue to push the now known to be defunct climate change pseudo religion while admiring all things french.

Look on the bright side, we might almost be finally popular with the french. Almost that is.

FTA: Kerry again signaled that he hopes to use his role as top diplomat to promote green energy technologies.... He also cited the prospect of new markets for [America....]

Oh. OK. So who handles foreign relations? USDA? CDC? Who? Maybe the Constitution is less-clear than it seems?

And who convinced Kerry on AGW? Al Gore ["interested party" in prospective "carbon markets" and failed "divinity student"]? NASA´s 1986 "report" saying the human race would be extinct from AGW "in a few decades"? The IPCC reports where the "conclusions" were written before the reports were finished? East Anglia´s demonstratedly-falsified "data"? Ground-based temp readings from "heat islands," extrapolated "readings," and far-too-few locations? That you yourself are a far better scientist than Richard Feynman? What?

Of course he does, he´s a fellow traveler. The goal is to bring about a revolution by collapsing the economy. There are 3 primary elements:
1) abject weakness against all foes, particularly communist backed foes
2) keep all resources in the ground
3) collapse our businesses and economy with out of control spending, taxes and regulatory burdens

While Russia, China, Iran and Venezuela exploit their oil and gas, Kerry and Obama are pushing to alternative energy. This accomplishes all 3 of the goals.

In 2007, then Senator Barack Obama appeared on CNN´s Larry King Live and called on U.S. Attorney General Alberto Gonzales to resign. Obama said Gonzales was acting more like the president´s attorney than the people´s attorney and viewed himself as an "enabler of the administration." "Well, I voted against Alberto Gonzales confirmation for precisely the reason we are seeing now. I said this on the floor of the senate, that although he seemed to be a capable attorney, he seemed to conceive his role as being the president´s attorney instead of being the people´s attorney," Obama said.

Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.) said at a House Judiciary Subcommittee hearing on Thursday about legislation that would prevent abortion after 20 weeks nationwide. “I would urge my colleagues to think about the extent to which he, Dr. Gosnell, represented the poor quality of health care services available in poorer communities,” Nadler said at the Subcommittee on the Constitution and Civil Justice hearing. “We should be working to make sure that high quality

House Speaker John A. Boehner on Thursday flatly ruled out chances of the House passing the Senate’s immigration bill, saying his chamber will debate its own bill instead. The Ohio Republican and his top lieutenants in the party issued a joint statement that seemed designed to tamp down some of the momentum behind the Senate bill, which emerged from a committee on a bipartisan 13-5 vote this week, and to stake out a House GOP position. “While we applaud the progress made by our Senate colleagues, there are numerous ways in which

During friendly questioning from Rep. Hank “I fear that Guam will capsize!” Johnson in Congress last week, Attorney General Eric Holder offered the following statement. In regard to potential prosecution of the press for the disclosure of material. This is not something I’ve ever been involved in, heard of, or would think would be wise policy. He made that statement before the facts about the sweep on Fox News’ James Rosen were known. Since then, it’s come to light that Holder himself approved the subpoena that, among other things, named Rosen as a criminal co-conspirator.

As the saying goes, scratch a liberal and you’ll find a tyrant underneath. NY Gov. Andrew Cuomo is but the latest example. He shoved a very restrictive and ill-considered gun law through the state legislature in the dead of night. Among its flaws, the law criminalized police officers who tote firearms with magazines that hold more than seven rounds. Sheriffs around the state have objected to the law. Cuomo summoned them to the state capitol under what appears to be a false pretext, and used the meeting to threaten them into silence. Cuomo invited

Conservative radio host Mark Levin is very skeptical of the idea that President Obama had absolutely no idea about the IRS tea party targeting before the story broke in the news mere weeks ago. Levin declared adamantly that it is a “flat-out, bald-faced lie” that Obama didn’t know beforehand, citing prior reports by a few conservative news outlets picking up on the news well before the 2012 presidential election. Levin said, “I don’t believe for two seconds that Obama wasn’t aware of this.”

On Wednesday, Drummer Lee Rigby of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, a man who had served Queen and country honorably in the hell of Helmand Province in Afghanistan, emerged from his barracks on Wellington Street, named after the Duke thereof, in southeast London. Minutes later, he was hacked to death in broad daylight and in full view of onlookers by two men with machetes who crowed "Allahu Akbar!" as they dumped his carcass in the middle of the street like so much roadkill.
