| The parents of a toddler with spinal bifida are outraged after TSA officials forced their daughter to undergo a series of additional security measures ahead of their flight to Disney World. Nathan and Annie Forck were flying out of their home state of Missouri on a February 8 flight bound for Orlando, Florida with their wheelchair-bound daughter Lucy and their two other children. Mrs Forck took a six-minute video detailing their toddler’s cries as she said through tears that she didn’t want to go to Disney World anymore, and is claiming the TSA discriminates against people who use mobility devices.

Words fail to express the outrage at this utterly useless and creepy agency, the TSA. Let us not forget that the TSA, and also curly-que mandatory fluorescent lights with the banning of 60W(+) light bulbs, is an outgrowth of so-called "compassionate conservative" G. W. Bush. As much as I liked G. W., his presidency really turned out to be an overall dud.

Hey people, feel safer with TSA and Homeland security protecting you? Billions of dollars down the hole, rights being trampled left and right and yet these two agencies have not caught one single terrorist to date! Another example of your government coming to help you!

The TSA agent is a dang liar. She told the mother it was illegal to film the assault (yet sure wasn´t just a ´patdown´). Just another unionized government liar paid for by us.

i have a friend whose grandson is a quad and lives his life in a wheelchair. The TSA made him leave his wheelchair, checked him out physically, went over the chair and any and all containers on the chair, and detained him and his family quite a while.
There are more of these outlandish searches than we know about. Having peopis who are so challenge move about in spaces unfamiliar is crewl. His grandfather is a doctor and his grandmother was a PTA.
How much do you want to bet these TSA agents never change their gloves the whole day through after touching hundreds of people.

My adult son has Autism. High functioning, but Autism nonetheless. He and I flew to a wedding a couple of years ago and I lived in absolute dread of him getting jacked up by some gung-ho TSA agent hell-bent on jacking someone up just for GPs. Fortunately it didn´t happen but after reading this story and others like it I´m scared to death to ever subject him to this kind of treatment. He´d probably end up in jail and I´d be in an adjoining cell.

When the citizens get tired of these abuses, there will be hell to pay. What will be government´s response? Not reinstate the constitution. Not punish the guilty. Not even commit suicide in utter shame. No, they will try to ban more guns.

There are services that escort you through security and take care of your busy work at the airport. They can be expensive in some airports (like Atlanta -- ridiculous), but they are worth it a lot of the time. Especially if you´re traveling with a special needs passenger.

The headline is deceiving and unfair to Disney World which had nothing to do with what happened. Makes it sound like DW abused the boy so he didn´t want to go back. Aside from that, the TSA treatment was outrageous.

On a related note, the TSA will remove all of those ´´bare-naked scanners´´ by June. Something about how they could never come up a solution to the TSA agents constantly viewing the traveler´s ´wares´.
Next, all those wind mills.

Wait! FTA: "Mr Forck, an attorney, told Fox News that he knew it was legal to record the event and said that if the same instance had occurred outside the setting of an airport, it would be illegal."
How the heck is it illegal to videotape someone molesting your daughter OUTSIDE of an airport?? That makes no sense. If someone (even a police officer) is touching my child against my will (whether in or out of an airport), I will videotape them and I will fight any stupid laws that would counter my right to do so!!!

At one time I was a frequent flier but I stopped flying two years ago after the way they treated my wife, who needs a cane for stability, by making her stand with her legs spread for a complete pat down. Why? She was wearing a small gold cross she forgot to remove prior to going through the intrusive xray machine. They saw to it she would be sorry, vindictive low lifes!

#10, whenever my mom files, we call ahead and arrange a wheelchair (they broke her scooter, now we use theirs). An airport agent brings the wheelchair and gets her all the way to the gate. She goes through the employee security line, and has never been hassled.
The only bad time was in Jacksonville, FL airport. The guy brought the wheelchair and left us on her own, we had two carry-on bags, and two large purses. He said it wasn´t his job to push her through the airport. Mom couldn´t hold all of it in her lap, so she held some (and got bruised for the effort), and I had something on my shoulder, and something on the handles. He missed his $5 or $10 tip.
We have never been charged by any airport, it´s just the tip.

There has been a sixth night of rioting in Sweden´s capital, Stockholm, despite police reinforcements being deployed. Cars were set alight in poor suburbs inhabited largely by immigrants, although the unrest was reportedly not as serious as on previous nights. The rioting also spread outside the capital for the first time on Friday, with youths torching vehicles and buildings in two towns. [Snip] It is believed they were sparked by the death of an elderly man nearly a week before, who was shot by police after he allegedly threatened to kill them with a machete.

The leader of the Lebanese Shia militant Hezbollah movement, Hassan Nasrallah, has promised his supporters victory in Syria, where his fighters are backing President Bashar al-Assad. Mr Nasrallah said Hezbollah would stay in the conflict till the end. Syrian rebels in the besieged town of Qusair say they are under heavy bombardment from Hezbollah combatants. The town is close to the Lebanese border, a conduit for both the government and rebels to get weapons. [Snip] He said his movement could never be aligned with Syrian rebels who, in his view, were supported by the United States and Israel.

One of the men suspected of murdering a soldier in Woolwich, south-east London, was detained by police two months ago, Sky News has been told. Local shopkeepers say Michael Adebowale was part of a group of Muslim activists who had been reported to police several times. They were told the authorities were aware of him. It comes as a preliminary report into what the intelligence services knew about Adebowale and his fellow suspect Michael Adebolajo is set to be handed over to an inquiry next week. Sir Malcolm Rifkind, chairman of the parliamentary Intelligence and Security Committee, said he had

HANAHAN--The U.S. Naval Brig is once again being mentioned as a leading alternative to put terror detainees on trial after President Barack Obama this week rekindled his push to shut down the terror-suspect holding site at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. “I once again call on Congress to lift the restrictions on detainee transfers from Gitmo,” he said. “I have asked the Department of Defense to designate a site in the United States where we can hold military commissions.” Speculation immediately re-focused on the brig at Charleston as a leading choice where some of the 166 detainees could go on trial.

Proudly marching through the streets of York with cheers ringing in their ears, the men and women of 2nd Signal Regiment--recently returned from Afghanistan--were greeted by thousands of people lining the streets to welcome them home. In the hours after the murder of Drummer Lee Rigby by alleged Islamist terrorists in Woolwich, south-east London, on Wednesday, the Ministry of Defence had advised servicemen and women not to go out in uniform--an order that was promptly ignored by soldiers who refused to be cowed and almost immediately rescinded. 300 members of the Armed Forces were cheered by well-wishers who waved

Conservative radio host Mark Levin is very skeptical of the idea that President Obama had absolutely no idea about the IRS tea party targeting before the story broke in the news mere weeks ago. Levin declared adamantly that it is a “flat-out, bald-faced lie” that Obama didn’t know beforehand, citing prior reports by a few conservative news outlets picking up on the news well before the 2012 presidential election. Levin said, “I don’t believe for two seconds that Obama wasn’t aware of this.”

President Obama on Thursday nominated Victoria Nuland, a State Department official involved in the editing of the administration´s talking points on Benghazi, to be the next assistant secretary of state for European and Eurasian affairs. Nuland, a career foreign service officer who was until recently State´s top spokesperson, had long been expected to be nominated the post to replace Philip Gordon, who Obama picked to serve as Middle East coordinator for the National Security Council. Nuland´s nomination -- which requires Senate confirmation -- could come under scrutiny from Republicans who see her as playing a central role in shaping

According to its website, the facility provides “3-day outpatient psychiatric evaluation,” particularly to “professionals who are in personal or professional crises.” While Weiner did not disclose

MARK LEVIN: So why didn´t Chairman Issa hold an investigative hearing a year ago? Why didn´t Chairman Camp, all Republicans, hold an investigative hearing a year ago, and all the other tripping over themselves right now? I´ll tell you why. Because the establishment Republicans, the RINO Republicans, despise the Tea Party. They despise the conservative movement. We exist to be managed, to be shuttled to the polling place, to vote for their candidates. The Karl Roves of the world, and all the rest of them. They fight us in the primaries, they fight us at the grassroots.

On Wednesday, Drummer Lee Rigby of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, a man who had served Queen and country honorably in the hell of Helmand Province in Afghanistan, emerged from his barracks on Wellington Street, named after the Duke thereof, in southeast London. Minutes later, he was hacked to death in broad daylight and in full view of onlookers by two men with machetes who crowed "Allahu Akbar!" as they dumped his carcass in the middle of the street like so much roadkill. As grotesque as this act of savagery was, the aftermath was even more unsettling

He sent this memo to his staff today in connection with the federal investigation into an alleged leak to Fox News reporter James Rosen, a story that the Washington Post’s Ann E. Marimow broke earlier this week. The memo’s a masterpiece, too. For all those who wonder what it is about Ailes that endears his people to him — and that makes him such a good interviewee for any media reporter lucky enough to get an audience
