Obviously missing is the defense by the reprehensible RINO´s or any other Republicans for that matter. They don´t want Cruz encroaching on their turf and threatening their power, no matter that he is an upstanding, honest man who is such an asset to the Senate.

Agree with all of you. Senator McCain and his RINO cohorts are beneath contempt. How dare McCain berate "anyone on this committee who is impugning Chuck Hagel´s character..." I tell you, McCain and co. would stick up for Hitler himself if it came to that in order to help Dems destroy a good conservative. Okay, we see the beginnings of the palinizing of a Senator this country desperately needs. So, we fight. We deluge Cruz with letters, cards, calls, emails of support. We have to go the extra mile. RINOs are also just plain jealous of Cruz.

“In this country we had a terrible experience with innuendo and inference when Joe McCarthy hung out in the United States Senate, and I just think we have to be more careful,” she [Sen. Claire McCaskill] told the New York Times on Feb. 15.
What Sen. McCaskill means is that the Left had a terrible experience of being exposed for what they are by Sen. McCarthy, and they want to be particularly "careful" that doesn´t happen again. However, OTOH, the Left can and should continue on with their constant "innuendo, inference" and outright lies about Republicans, and especially Conservatives such as Senator Ted Cruz.
“All I can say is that the appropriate way to treat Senator Hagel is to be as tough as you want to be, but don’t be disrespectful or malign his character,” McCain told the Times.
So, Senator Cruz, you should stand by respectfully as every kind of disrespect is hurled at you, and remain silent as your good character is maligned. But, OTOH, you should never mention the less than dignified and honorable actions of "the dignified Honorables". They consider that to be "disrespectul" of those who are using their power in the process of disrespecting and even destroying all that We the People hold dear in our country.
God bless Sen. Cruz and all who demonstrate the courage to uphold our Constitutional Republic.

Texas sent Ted Cruz to Congress to fight. That´s what he said he would do, and so Texas elected him. As for what Congress or the state run media thinks, we don´t care. I don´t want an appeaser, I want the Rinos and state run media defeated.

What McCain and the other RINOs are upset about is that Ted Cruz doesn´t know his place. Keep going Ted, the more they squeal the better those of us who sent you to Washington like it. They wanted another Kay Baily Huthchinson but got a real conservative and patriot.

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services says it wants as many as 20 percent of its workers to "telework," use an "alternative work schedule," or do both, in order to "reduce green house gas emissions," decrease "employee stress," and give these government workers more time for "planning and preparing healthy meals." So says one of the HHS "performance measures" detailed in an appendix to the department´s latest strategic plan. HHS´s performance measure "4.D.05" says: "Increase the percent employees on telework or on Alternative Work Schedule." Telework means working from home via phone and computer.

Bloodletting, in the form of firings, dismissals, resignation, and expulsions, is a tribal rite in political Washington. It is most often used by the powerful on anyone less powerful as a symbolic sacrifice. Steven Miller, the now former acting commissioner of the Internal Revenue Service, is the latest victim of ritual sacrifice. This week the Obama White House demanded his resignation to demonstrate the president’s “anger” at news that the IRS targeted conservative groups applying for tax-exempt status for added review and slow approval.
