Chuck Todd: It´s Mythology
That MSM is Hostile
to Conservatives

Chuck Todd can´t imagine what could ever have given conservative politicians the idea that the MSM is unfriendly to them. C´mon Chuck: we know you´re a NewsBusters reader.  Every day here, we document the liberal media´s hostility to conservatives. On today´s Morning Joe, NBC political director Todd repeatedly spoke of a supposed "mythology" among conservative politicians and their staffs that the "big, bad non-conservative media" is "out to get conservatives."  That in turn explains why, according to Todd, conservative officials are reluctant to appear on non-Fox shows.

Comments:
Yes, he said this the same day NBC announced the Axelrod hire.

Chuckie is such a doofus. Either he´s completely nuts or he thinks we conservatives are all naive. Both are true, of course.

Conclusion: Chuckie is delusional and/or dishonest.

FTA: ~JOE SCARBOROUGH: Chuck Todd, is there another Republican allowed to speak on a Sunday other than Lindsey Graham?

CHUCK TODD: I think part of everything is that there´s only like three Republicans who agree to do it.

SCARBOROUGH: Nobody wants to talk.

MIKA BRZEZINSKI: He´s their media the front man.

TODD: McCain and Lindsey are two of the few people --
~~

Wonder how many they have actually asked, and how many declined to appear?

There have been books written that document that he is wrong. There have been college papers done by liberal professors documenting that he is wrong. There have been liberals in the MSM stating that he is wrong.

But no amount of proof is ever sufficient to the liberals in the MSM that continue to deny the obvious.

I have a theory that there is a large portion of the population in the world that wants to be serfs. They typically don´t realize that is what they want. But it´s in their genes. That is why there has been so much serfdom over the ages. America was settled by a very unusual group of people. They did not have it in their genes to be serfs. So they established a country that rejected kings and the all powerful state. But over the last two centuries many serf-ers have immigrated here and now they are more in control and are comfortable with all of us being serfs.

Every con man uses the line "Who ya gonna believe ... me or youse lyin´ eyes?"

F. Chuck Todd is the latest one to say it. And of course, he says it on MSNBC. I double dog dare him to walk over to Fox and try that line with Hannity or even O´Reilly.

It´s a mythology I tell ya, just mythology. Now here´s the 214th airing of Rubio taking a drink of water. Oh and hey Joe, what do you think of those cheetoh eaters (yes that´s what he called them) who think there´s anything else we need to know about those guys who were killed in Benghazi? Talk about delusional. By the way meet our new analyst David Axelrod. Do you think Romney´s still keeping women in a binder? Do you think we aired that enough? Menendez? Huh? I´m sorry, for a moment I thought you asked me to weigh in on Menendez yuk yuk. As if.

Todd may actually believe this. The left feels so strongly that their position is the righteous and proper one that they believe it´s the default position for all thought. They see liberalism/Marxism as the one and only true religion and can´t see how enamored and biased of they have become.

When someone calls them on their bias they are simply unable to see it.

Marco Rubio was not amused. The senator from Florida had listened patiently as a panel of hand-picked conservatives, lined up across a long table at the front of the room, took turns speaking about the prospects of immigration reform.(snip)Referencing a Jay Leno one-liner, Burgess questioned fellow conservatives about the wisdom of giving citizenship to "11 million undocumented Democrats." Laughter, some of it nervous, spread throughout the room. But not everyone found Burgess´ crack funny. According to several people who attended the June 5th gathering, Rubio glared at Burgess.

Is Marco Rubio, R-Fla., getting played by Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y.? During his interview with ABC’s Jonathan Karl this morning, Rubio didn’t even seem to understand what that meant. “Are you being played by the Democrats?” asked Karl. “Is Chuck Schumer playing you?” “I don’t — I quite frankly, I don’t even know what that means,” Rubio replied. “Is he using you?” Karl continued. “Is he using you to try to accomplish something that the Democrats want and is not — not a conservative bill?” Rubio responded that immigration reform was a bi-partisan issue that “all Americans

An employee of Americans for Tax Reform (ATR) president Grover Norquist and a political ally of “Gang of Eight” member Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) believe groups opposed to the immigration bill pending in the U.S. Senate are "nativists," Breitbart News has learned. Brad Bailey of the organization called Texas Immigration Studies will join them on the call. “As the momentum behind immigration reform continues to

Senate Says No To Border

The Senate has rejected an amendment to the Gang of Eight bill calling for a “border security first” approach to immigration reform. A motion to table the amendment, which was authored by Republican senator Chuck Grassley of Iowa and previously defeated in the Judiciary Committee, passed 57 to 43, largely on party lines. The measure would have required the Department of Homeland Security to demonstarate effective security of the southern border for six months before illegal immigration are granted legal status. The Gang’s proposal would provide legal status before additional border security measures are measured or implemented.

Wal-Mart Stores Inc has in recent months been only hiring temporary workers at many of its U.S. stores, the first time the world´s largest retailer has done so outside of the holiday shopping season. A Reuters survey of 52 stores run by the largest U.S. private employer in the past month, including one in every U.S. state, showed that 27 were hiring only temps, 20 were hiring a combination of regular full, part-time and temp jobs, and five were not hiring at all. Democrats terrify Hispanics into thinking they’ll be lynched if they vote for Republicans, and then turn around and taunt Republicans for not winning a majority of the Hispanic vote. This line of attack has real resonance with our stupidest Republicans. (Proposed Republican primary targets: Sens. Kelly Ayotte, Jeff Flake, Lindsey Graham and Marco Rubio.) Which explains why Republicans are devoting all their energy to slightly increasing their share of the Hispanic vote while alienating everyone else in America. It must be fun for liberals to manipulate Republicans into focusing on hopeless causes

Amid a steady rise of backlash, Edward Snowden, the 29-year-old former National Security Agency contractor who was the source of a spring of leaks about the agency´s surveillance methods, conducted a live chat on The Guardian´s website Monday morning. Judging from some of the pointed questions he´s been asked and the reaction to newly leaked revelations over the past few days, it´s clear that much of the sympathy and support Snowden had built up for his early exposures is eroding. Many Americans supported his decision to leak information about a pair of National Security Agency surveillance programs, which, he detailed, gathered information

As NewsBusters reported last week, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin called out vulgarian comedian Bill Maher for referring to her Down Syndrome son Trig as "retarded." On ABC´s The View Monday, co-host Barbara Walters astonishingly defended Maher saying, "I don´t think he intended it to be mean-spirited" (video follows with transcript and commentary): WHOOPI GOLDBERG: At a recent standup show in Las Vegas, comedian Bill Maher apparently called Sarah Palin’s five-year-old developmentally-challenged son Trig retarded. Five months into his second term, allies and enemies are as confounded as ever about who President Obama really is. Is he the dyed-in-the-wool liberal that his biggest supporters and critics suggest? Or is he a pragmatic, even cynical, politician who cares more for his popularity than taking risks for his ideological goals or living up to his rhetoric? Even in the short period since his reelection, Obama has provided evidence to support conflicting interpretations. His efforts to pass immigration reform, the unsuccessful push for stricter gun controls and tax hikes on high earners buttress the case for Obama-as-ideologue.

Charlie Rose last night asked President Obama his new Syria policy. The president first objected to it being called a new policy. "I´m not sure you can characterize this as a new policy. This is consistent with the policy that I´ve had throughout," he said. Obama then explained the goal is regional stability, and especially in Syria. "Really, what we´re trying to do is take sides against extremists of all sorts and in favor of people who are in favor of moderation, tolerance, representative government, and over the long-term, stability and prosperity for the people of Syria," said Obama.

Marco Rubio. Paul Ryan. The IRS. Illegal immigration. And fraud to the tune of billions.. Now there’s a combustible mix. Let’s start with the IRS, illegal immigration and fraud. We’ll come back in a minute to Senator Rubio and Congressman Ryan. For those who came in late, a year before the IRS scandals burst onto the scene in early May of 2013, an alert investigative reporter for WTHR-Indianapolis (Channel 13), Bob Segall by name, produced a stunning piece of journalism. Segall’s video report is found here and we will quote from his story for the basics.
