Obama: Criminals will be let
go if sequester cuts go through

Washington Examiner, by Charlie Spiering

Original Article

Posted By:KarenJ1, 2/19/2013 11:16:57 AM

President Obama warned Congress that if the sequester cuts go through on Friday, significant cuts would bring about serious consequences in America. Obama asserted that F.B.I agents would be furloughed and “federal prosecutors would be forced to close cases and let those criminals go,” if the cuts went through. “These cuts are not smart, they are not fair, they will hurt our economy, they will add hundreds of thousands of Americans to the unemployment rolls,” Obama insisted.

Comments:
That was one of the most excrutiating things I have ever watched. It´s typical of 0bama. Bash the rich, blame the Republicans and never acknowledge it was his idea for sequestration. I don´t know how we ever fight something like this. It just never ends.

Jerry Brown predicted the end of the world, when Prop 13 passed in California back in 1978.

The $85 Billion only amount to just over 2% of federal spending.

We pay the taxes. Why are the programs that directly affect Americans facing cuts when I´ve not heard one word of any foreign aid being cut?

Too bad it never crossed President Pinocchio´s mind to cancel all those ObamaPhones, cut programs that fund illegals, and eliminate all government spending that provide his high-maintenance wife and idiot vice president with four-day ski trips to Aspen/Vail, Colorado. We won´t even mention what it cost the taxpayers to underwrite his golf trip to FL this past weekend.

Sequestration is the only thing Obama´s initiated I might agree with. The alternative is chronic high level unemployment, low growth, and an unsustainable deficit, unable to be paid down by 100% taxes on the "rich" and terminiation of the "Bush" tax cuts. This guy´s legacy, about which he seems to concerned, will be a worldwide depression, and he´s too stupid to realize it.

#9, any cuts will be to the very few services used by taxpaying Americans, such that we will agree to pay more taxes. Multibillion-dollar Free Obamaphone program ($2.2 billion at last word), for example, is the very fabric of America, and cannot be cut.

Since the Sequester was ´the won´s´ idea along with his nut house peeps, one would think he knew what the results would be prior to his suggestion of same.

The fact that he tried to blame the Republicans for the sequester just shows he can only LIE, Lie, Lie. There is no conscience for telling the truth. He seems to relish his ability to Lie.

What a disaster...a president who cares not for the country that elected him, a man who lies often and unashamed, he insults the intelligence of those that do not fall for his lies and schemes to continue the farce, he roars down the road to destruction without even glancing back. He knows he would not be worth a plugged nickel in private life so he passes a law to get secret service protection for life...pretty sweet huh? But guess what no more AF-1, no more Marine ONE, and low priority in the scheme of things. Million dollar weekends, 7 MILLION dollar vacations and endless golf gigs...meanwhile the country has record unemployment, food stamps, give away programs and crony payoffs, etc.. All this for a country founded with GOD in it´s foundation and all it´s works. Since the string of Governments have increasingly taken HIM out of the picture HE is standing back an watching our own suicides...all this is temporary and with our short lifetimes will soon pass. There will be much to answer for. Make no mistake, EVIL is very real.

Sequester is the most DANGEROUS thing ever.

It will rewrite your hard drive and scramble any disks that are even close to your computer. It will recalibrate your freezer´s coolness setting so all your ice cream melts. It will demagnetize the strips on all your credit cards, screw up the tracking on your VCR, and use subspace field harmonics to render any CDs you try to play unreadable.

It will give your ex-boy/girlfriend/ex-husband/wife your new phone number. It will mix antifreeze into your fishtank. It will drink all your beer and leave its socks out on the coffee table when company comes over. It will put a kitten in the back pocket of your good suit and hide your car keys when you are late for work.

Sequester will make you fall in love with a penguin. It will give you nightmares about circus midgets. It will pour sugar in your gas tank and shave off both your eyebrows while dating your current boy/girlfriend behind your back and billing the dinner and hotel room to your Visa card.

It moves your car randomly around parking lots so you can´t find it. It will tease your dog. It will leave strange messages on your boss´s voicemail in your voice. It is insidious and subtle. It is dangerous and terrifying to behold. It is also a rather interesting shade of mauve.

Sequester will give you Dutch Elm disease. It will leave the toilet seat up. It will make a batch of methamphetamine in your bathtub and leave bacon cooking on the stove while it goes out to chase high school kids with your snowblower.

These are just a few of the signs. Be very, very afraid!

It´s worse than this. He will layoff all federal penitentiary security guards and open the gates for the prisoners. All border guards at the Mexico border will be removed. All airport immigration and TSA drones will be removed thus shutting down all air travel. And it will all be blamed on Republicans.

In a new editorial, the folks at National Review came out strongly against the immigration plan being sponsored by the "Gang of Eight," a group of Senators that includes Marco Rubio (R-FL), calling the bill "Rubio´s Folly." National Review urges Senator Rubio to vote against the bill he has helped craft. It slams the proposed legislation as, "an amnesty-first, enforcement-maybe program drawn up mainly to reflect the priorities of 11 million citizens of other countries rather than the concerns of more than 300 million citizens of the United States." A pair of centrist senators introduced a bill Wednesday to soften the employer mandate in President Obama´s healthcare law. The healthcare law requires employers to offer coverage to employees who work more than 30 hours per week. Some employers have said they will reduce workers´ hours to avoid the mandate. Sens. Joe Donnelly (D-Ind.) and Susan Collins (R-Maine) proposed a bill to move the threshold to 40 hours per week, saying the employer mandate should match the traditional definition of a full-time worker. "What we´ve tried to do is be reflective of the businesses we work with,"

Marco Rubio made another one of his seemingly endless appearances on Sean Hannity’s program to advocate amnesty legislation. Rubio told Hannity that he has opposed amendments by Republican Senators to improve the legislation’s enforcement provisions because a new enforcement provision will be proposed tomorrow that is tougher and more effective than what has been proposed so far. Rand Paul’s amendment, which Rubio voted against, would have given Congress, not the Department of Homeland Security, the ultimate authority to determine if the border is effectively secure. It would also have included enhanced security measures, such as requiring a

To a remarkable degree, liberalism has been institutionalized as an official ideology, funded by your tax dollars. This editorial in Investors Business Daily explains, in shocking detail, how Obamacare is being used to fund Democratic Party operatives and drive Democratic Party enrollment: The Obama administration granted a whopping $910 million to California to set up its insurance exchange. That money is not for bandages, surgery, nurses and doctors to care for the sick. …Shockingly, the $910 million is slated for bureaucracy, including rich compensation packages for exchange employees ($360,000 a year for the executive director) and contracts for

The popularity of Obamacare has crashed to its lowest level in nearly two years, according to a new Kaiser Family Foundation poll. Kaiser´s monthly tracking poll found that just 35 percent have a favorable view of the health reform being put into place Jan. 1 while 43 percent view it unfavorably. The favorability rating of Obamacare has been worse only once, in October 2011, when it fell to 34 percent. Not only is the June poll bad news for the president as his administration struggles to have the health reform program ready for people to begin signing up

Americans are already wary of the federal government having collected their phone records, but now we have Rep. Peter King, R-N.Y., setting up a slippery slope of more and more data collection. Earlier today, a Washington Examiner editorial warned that "if phone records are useful now in stopping terrorist attacks, how long before politicians and bureaucrats decide archiving the entire phone call would be even more useful? How long before the limitations and safeguards now in place are set aside?" Within a few hours, King provided an illustration of precisely what the Examiner editors fear. Responding to a

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) is feeling the heat as potential GOP allies are now turning against his immigration reform bill. Republican colleagues who were previously viewed as possible “yes” votes are keeping their distance from the 1,075-page measure. On Wednesday, conservative activists ripped Rubio and Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) — both sponsors of the bipartisan immigration measure — at a Capitol Hill rally. The crowd, which was protesting the bill’s effort to put millions of illegal immigrants on a path to citizenship, booed at the mention of Rubio’s name during the six-hour event.

A group of whistleblowers, including a number of aviation experts, have come forward in a new documentary to claim that the official explanation for the crash of TWA Flight 800 was wrong and a gas tank explosion did not bring down the flight off the coast of Long Island 17 years ago. However, the six whistleblowers, all part of the original investigation team, stopped short of saying the plane was shot down.
