| The background for this case is the German war on homeschooling that has led some families to seek political asylum in the United States where homeschooling is still legal for now. While the Obama Administration refuses to expel illegal aliens who have committed felonies and welcomes in immigrants with AIDS, European Christians who don’t like the compulsory indoctrination of their children are not their cup of tea. The Romeikes’ case is now before the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, with the US government seeking to revoke their asylum and force them to return to

What is not specifically defined as an authority of the federal government is granted to the States. Someone mention this to Ted Cruz. He´d love to instruct Holder in the US Constitution.

RINOs voted to let this racist, hate-mongering communist sit in the seat of the Attorney General.
Anyone who checked his record could see he was a racist, a rule bender, and had no respect for the law.
Yet they voted to approve his nomination.

There are absolutely no limits to the evil these people are willing to perpetrate to meet their communist goals. The whackiest conspiracy theory is probably only a glimpse of the totality of it all. Keep the wagons circled and conserve ammo. Its going to be a long four years.

Democrats are blatantly anti-American because Republicans allow them to be blatantly anti-American with total impunity (and a pat on the back for "good intentions" to boot). This is what, like #4328 on the list of things Holder has been given a pass for by the GOP?

We parents of the Boomers were told that a wonderful new school system was going to educate our kids far above us. We were warned not to try to teach them any subject as we would only confuse them with our old, obsolete methods. Not having seen them in action yet, we were in no position to say they were nuts and ignore them.

Given the dumbed down Barry program of Core something or other, all parents should find a way to home school their kids. My mother´s 8th grade education level (back in the 20s) was equivalent to a college course. Now its equivalent to a 3rd grader, and soon to be 1st grader. After all, dumb all the kids down so its only fair that they´re all stupid.

Article 1 of the Bill of Rights protects our right of free religious beliefs. For those interested, the good book teaches that it is the parents responsibility to teach and train their children. That being said Mr. Holder, you make take you gubberment indoc centers and stick them where the sun don´t shine. As Miss Pearl used to say, "Sunny, you best git your skinny butt back in dat class and learn dim books." Miss Pearl had the "umph" to back up her dictates, this skinny white boy complied.

A mass exodus of Christians is currently underway. Millions of Christians are being displaced from one end of the Islamic world to the other. We are reliving the true history of how the Islamic world, much of which prior to the Islamic conquests was almost entirely Christian, came into being. The U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom recently said: “The flight of Christians out of the region is unprecedented and it’s increasing year by year.” In our lifetime alone “Christians might disappear altogether from Iraq, Afghanistan, and Egypt.” Ongoing reports from the Islamic world

Thousands of people with serious medical problems are in danger of losing coverage under President Obama´s health care overhaul because of cost overruns, state officials say. At risk is the Pre-Existing Condition Insurance Plan, a transition program that´s become a lifeline for the so-called uninsurables -- people with serious medical conditions who can´t get coverage elsewhere. The program helps bridge the gap for those patients until next year, when under the new law insurance companies will be required to accept people regardless of their medical problems.

The weakest recovery in the nation’s history continues. On Wednesday, payroll processing firm ADP reported that private sector businesses created a disappointing 119,000 jobs in the month of April. Once again, to use a word that should embarrass those who support the Obama administration’s Keynesian economic policies, this meager total was “unexpected.” Economic “experts” surveyed by Reuters had predicted at least 150,000 new jobs. ”Nearly every industry has seen slower growth since the beginning of the year,” said Moody’s economist Mark Zandi. “Smaller businesses are experiencing much weaker growth.” Most of the jobs were created in the service industries

April has been a freakishly cold month across much of the northern USA, bringing misery to millions of sun-starved and winter-weary residents from the Rockies to the Midwest. "The weather map ... looks like something out of The Twilight Zone," Minneapolis meteorologist Paul Douglas of WeatherNation TV wrote on his blog last week. Record cold and snow has been reported in dozens of cities, with the worst of the chill in the Rockies, upper Midwest and northern Plains. Several baseball games have been snowed out in both Denver and Minneapolis.

A jury in South Bend, Indiana has found that fraud put President Obama and Hillary Clinton on the presidential primary ballot in Indiana in the 2008 election. Two Democratic political operatives were convicted in the illegal scheme after only three hours of deliberations in South Bend. They were found guilty on all counts. Former longtime St. Joseph County Democratic party Chairman Butch Morgan Jr. was found guilty of felony conspiracy counts to commit petition fraud and forgery, and former county Board of Elections worker Dustin Blythe was found guilty of felony forgery counts and falsely making a petition

Recently, the intelligence agency of a government our State Department classifies as “innocent” of sponsoring terror (Russia’s) warned the U.S. government to keep an eye on a potential immigrant terrorist. That individual was Tamerlan Tsarnaev, the slain bomber of the Boston Marathon. However, U.S. security agencies found no cause to apprehend, much less deport, the “terrorist suspect” at the time. Thirteen years ago, a Stalinist regime that our State Department condemns as an official “state-sponsor of terrorism” (Fidel Castro’s) asked the U.S. government to deport a 7-year-old immigrant named Elian Gonzalez.

The Jewish Federation of Nashville and a group of outraged parents are calling for a school district to pull a high school textbook they believe promotes bias against Israel. The book, “The Cultural Landscape: An Introduction to Human Geography,” is used in Advanced Placement classes in Williamson County, south of Nashville. A section titled, “Terrorism by Individuals and Organizations,” asks students to ponder the following question: “If a Palestinian suicide bomber kills several dozen Israeli teenagers in a Jerusalem restaurant, is that an act of terrorism or wartime retaliation against Israeli government policies and army actions?” "That is blatantly anti-Semitic,”

Former Rep. I’m running for mayor because I’ve been fighting for the middle class and those struggling to make it for my entire life.

The dam protecting the IRS scandal began to crack today when Lois Lerner, the IRS official who announced, and apologized for, the improper singling out of conservative-leaning organizations by IRS employees under her command, announced through her criminal defense lawyer that she will not testify as scheduled tomorrow before the House Oversight Committee. Rather, she will assert her Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination. This marks an enormous milestone in the IRS investigation. It can now be taken as more or less established that crimes were committed by Obama administration employees. Lerner’s lawyer tried to minimize the significance

The wheels came off the Obama administration yesterday. We learned of a startling assault on freedom of the press by the Department of Justice, following the revelation last week of the unprecedented information-gathering foray by that department against The Associated Press. Then, a few minutes later, the Justice Department’s inspector general released a report declaring that the US attorney in Arizona used the leak of a confidential memo to try to discredit a whistleblower in the notorious “gun-walking” scandal known as Fast and Furious (which got two federal agents killed). The leak was called “egregious.”

WASHINGTON – A top IRS official in the division that reviews nonprofit groups will invoke the Fifth Amendment and refuse to answer questions before a House committee investigating the agency’s improper screening of conservative nonprofit groups. Lois Lerner, the head of the exempt organizations division of the IRS, won’t answer questions about what she knew about the improper screening – or why she didn’t reveal it to Congress, according to a letter from her defense lawyer, William W. Taylor 3rd. Lerner was scheduled to appear before the House Oversight committee Wednesday.

House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa said embattled IRS official Lois Lerner waived her Fifth Amendment rights and will be hauled back to appear before his panel again. The California Republican said Lerner’s Fifth Amendment right to avoid self-incrimination was voided when she gave an opening statement this morning denying any wrongdoing and professing pride in her government service. “When I asked her her questions from the very beginning, I did so so she could assert her rights prior to any statement,” Issa told POLITICO. “She chose not to do so — so she waived.”

Former Democratic National committee chairman Howard Dean considers the controversy over Benghazi a “joke” and “silly.” “Benghazi is a laughable joke,” Dean proclaimed twice in a discussion with Republican National Committee communications chairman Sean Spicer last week. “With all due respect, governor, when four Americans die serving this country, that’s not a joke, sir,” Spicer responded. “Oh, stop it,” said Dean. The former Democratic presidential candidate also said that there were “no serious questions being asked about Benghazi” and brushed it off as an effort by Republicans to score political points.
