Atty General Holder Argues
Parents Have No Right to

The background for this case is the German war on homeschooling that has led some families to seek political asylum in the United States where homeschooling is still legal for now. While the Obama Administration refuses to expel illegal aliens who have committed felonies and welcomes in immigrants with AIDS, European Christians who don’t like the compulsory indoctrination of their children are not their cup of tea. The Romeikes’ case is now before the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, with the US government seeking to revoke their asylum and force them to return to

Comments:
Holder says that parents have no fundamental right to home-school their children.

What is not specifically defined as an authority of the federal government is granted to the States. Someone mention this to Ted Cruz. He´d love to instruct Holder in the US Constitution.

Holder would prefer that citizens have No rights unless granted to them and overseen by the Federal Government. A true American patriot following his leader´s ideology.

RINOs voted to let this racist, hate-mongering communist sit in the seat of the Attorney General.

Anyone who checked his record could see he was a racist, a rule bender, and had no respect for the law.

Yet they voted to approve his nomination.

There are absolutely no limits to the evil these people are willing to perpetrate to meet their communist goals. The whackiest conspiracy theory is probably only a glimpse of the totality of it all.
Keep the wagons circled and conserve ammo. Its going to be a long four years.

Democrats are blatantly anti-American because Republicans allow them to be blatantly anti-American with total impunity (and a pat on the back for "good intentions" to boot). This is what, like #4328 on the list of things Holder has been given a pass for by the GOP?

We parents of the Boomers were told that a wonderful new school system was going to educate our kids far above us. We were warned not to try to teach them any subject as we would only confuse them with our old, obsolete methods. Not having seen them in action yet, we were in no position to say they were nuts and ignore them.

Given the dumbed down Barry program of Core something or other, all parents should find a way to home school their kids. My mother´s 8th grade education level (back in the 20s) was equivalent to a college course. Now its equivalent to a 3rd grader, and soon to be 1st grader. After all, dumb all the kids down so its only fair that they´re all stupid.

Article 1 of the Bill of Rights protects our right of free religious beliefs. For those interested, the good book teaches that it is the parents responsibility to teach and train their children.
That being said Mr. Holder, you make take you gubberment indoc centers and stick them where the sun don´t shine. As Miss Pearl used to say, "Sunny, you best git your skinny butt back in dat class and learn dim books."
Miss Pearl had the "umph" to back up her dictates, this skinny white boy complied.

Former GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney has sworn off running again for elected office, but Americans have certainly heard that one before. Speculation that Romney might run again has largely been stoked by the reunion he planned to host last month in Park City, Utah, for members of his 2012 campaign and debate team and a string of recent public appearances. He has appeared on TV news shows 12 times in the past six months. That’s essentially on pace with Michigan GOP Rep. Mike Rogers, who led all national politicians last year with 26 appearances over 12 months. Romney has

WATERFORD — New federal requirements that foods sold in schools be healthier have some area school districts opting out of the federal lunch program that provides subsidies for serving free or reduced-price meals to low-income students. Opting out means the districts do not have to follow food healthiness requirements. But it also means the districts lose federal money that covers the cost of free and reduced-price meals for poorer students. The Waterford Graded and Waterford High School districts have weighed their options and decided they’d rather forego the money and serve what they want. They’ll continue to cover the costs

Barack Obama is the guy you could usually defeat in an argument but only the most intelligent of your friends realized you had beaten him. George W. A poll released Monday by the Pew Research Center has found that support for gay marriage is increasing in those who identify as Republicans under the age of 30. 61% of those polled who lean towards the party are in favor of legalizing same-sex marriage while only 35% oppose it. This is in stark contrast to Republicans over the age of 50 – only 27% of that audience support it. Pew also found a record high percentage of Americans – 54% – support allowing gays to marry. Only 18% of young Republicans said that “more gay and lesbian couples raising children”

At Grand Army Plaza, beneath the golden equestrian statue of General Sherman, the horses stand, lazily flicking their ears, and occasionally glancing around as a yellow taxi driven by an angry Pakistani wheels around past the Plaza Hotel, brakes squealing, an Al Qaeda friendly Nasheed blaring through the open window. Feathered plumes, scarlet red, sapphire blue, electric purple, matching the colors of the plush linings of their carriages, stir faintly in the wind. The drivers, wearing black top hats and colorful suits, chat with each other while waiting for a tourist from Baltimore or Beijing to take a ride. The horses

JAKARTA, Indonesia – U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry on Sunday called climate change perhaps the world´s "most fearsome" destructive weapon and mocked those who deny its existence or question its causes, comparing them to people who insist the Earth is flat. In a speech to Indonesian students, civic leaders and government officials, Kerry tore into climate change skeptics. He accused them of using shoddy science and scientists to delay steps needed to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases at the risk of imperiling the planet. A day earlier, the U.S. and China announced an agreement to cooperate more closely on

The further left a radical politician wants to go, the more likely he is to wrap his agenda in a mainstream Republican brand. In his interview with Bill O’Reilly, Obama compared himself to Nixon (not for the reason most Republicans would expect) and in his State of the City address, Bill de Blasio compared himself to Fiorello H. La Guardia; a former Republican mayor of New York City. The constant mentions of La Guardia, a universally popular figure, were a poor mask for a radical address filled with ugly divisive rhetoric, class warfare and schemes that will bankrupt the city.

President Obama addressed the White House press corps today, announcing that with the final numbers in, Obamacare´s exchanges have attracted eight million sign-ups -- 35 percent of whom are "under the age of 35," he said. Several elements of his comments were misleading: (1) At first blush, the 35 percent stat is both significant and impressive. As recently as last month, the share of "young invincibles" signing up for plans was struggling in the 25 percent range, far short of the actuarial target of nearly 40 percent. A leap into the mid-30´s, while still shy of the goal, would constitute a major step, and would bode well for the risk pools'

Though the story has only grabbed national headlines in the past several days, rancher Cliven Bundy has illegally grazed cattle on the Nevada land surrounding his farm for over 20 years. He hasn’t paid grazing fees since 1993, and refuses to renew the necessary grazing permit.(Snip)Rather than using the avenues and pathways presented to him, Bundy has staunchly declared his own law and allegiances. Unfortunately, reality doesn’t work this way. If only it did—we could rebel for paying stupid taxes, refuse to

A group of seven multiracial Washington and Lee University (W&L) students are demanding the school remove all Confederate flags from campus and "acknowledge" General Robert E. Lee´s "dishonorable side." According to the Roanoke Times, "seven multiracial students, calling themselves ´The Committee,´" have also demanded the school "acknowledge and apologize for participating in chattel slavery." They want recognition of "Martin Luther King Jr. Day on the undergraduate campus" and an end to "neo-Confederates" marching across campus "to the Lee Chapel on Lee-Jackson Day." The White House is going to war with another fox — and this time, it’s personal. The Wall Street Journal reports that a red fox has been causing chaos around the White House, tripping security alarms, digging up Michelle’s garden and distracting the president from his duties. The Secret Service won’t give any details about how often the fox trips the White House’s obviously sophisticated security alarms, but rest assured, officials say, they’re watching. President Obama was apparently “stunned” to see the fox roaming freely down the oft-photographed White House colonnade, home to the world’s shortest, but most dramatic, outdoor strolls. Pelosi also used the occasion to talk about passing HR15 - bipartisan immigration legislation that her office says would "reduce the deficit by nearly $1 trillion, secure our borders, unite our families, protect our workers and provide an earned pathway to citizenship." The Democratic leader´s ceremony coincides with Pope Francis´ similar ceremony in Rome to mark Holy Week.

Imagine a vendor on the National Mall, selling burgers and dogs, who hasn’t paid his rent in 20 years. He refuses to recognize his landlord, the National Park Service, as a legitimate authority. Every court has ruled against him, and fines have piled up. What’s more, the effluents from his food cart are having a detrimental effect on the spring grass in the capital. Would an armed posse come to his defense, aiming their guns at the park police? Would the lawbreaker get prime airtime on Fox News, breathless updates in the Drudge Report, a sympathetic ear from Tea Party Republicans?
