I grew up on the Courier Journal. It was biased toward the Dems, but it wasn´t nasty. Then it changed and changed for the worst. I finally quit reading it and dropped my subscription after I simply could not stand it any more.

I quit on my local "newspaper" many years ago. Their editorial page was totally leftist. They felt they were somehow above the fray and hated anyone who they thought worked hard enough to make a buck more then them. They bought most of the new stories from national sources or the New York Times. I hope most of them go bankrupt.

It´s fine for a publication to lean left or right and refuse to publish a screed that runs against the grain. It´s also fine for a columnist to quit said publication.

Hopefully, Mr. Dyche will be picked up elsewhere. At the very least, one hopes he will get his article out on the internet via myriad blogs soon.

Mt brother wrote for that paper for thirty years. He is the most rabidly liberal person I have ever known. He tolerates no disagreement with his liberal orthodoxy. Makes for very uncomfortable family gatherings. He can go off on a loud rant at the drop of the hat.

The Courier Journal is owned by the Gannett Corp, started by Al Neuharth, a left wing Marxist. Gannett has bought out many papers across the USA. It´s how they are taking over the mean spirited Marxist propaganda.

Pam Platt was subtly transferred from the Florida Today to the Louisville Courier-Journal because of her spiteful Marxist actions.

Best way to stop the Marxist propaganda of any paper is to stop the subscriptions, stop buying from advertisers and stop reading it. Several liberal publications are hurting and they should be hurt right out of publication. Some of them area already laying off staff, we should help them along.

The Courrier Journal is an awful, mean spirited left wing rag. When the call and ask if I want to take advantage of some intro rate I kindly tell them I would not take their paper if they gave it to me. The paper itself gets thinner all the time, they are running it into the ground...

We in Dallas are eagerly awaiting the demise of the relentlessly left-wing Dallas Morning News, a paper which adheres to Holy Liberal Orthodoxy even as their audience expresses a clear desire for something else. I´d like to list the dwindling DMN subscribership numbers, but I believe they are still banned from quoting subscriber rates, as they were caught lying to their advertisers about those very numbers. (Hey, what´s one more lie from a leftist rag, right?)

The Burlington (VT) Free Press is another Gannett owned rag that leans so far to the left that it´s a wonder it hasn´t toppled over!! It´s like the printed version of PMSNBC. Even the weather report is biased. We canceled our subscription years ago and rarely pick up the Sunday paper for the ads.
