| WASHINGTON — Less than a year before Americans will be required to have insurance under President Obama´s healthcare law, many of its backers are growing increasingly anxious that premiums could jump, driven up by the legislation itself. Higher premiums could undermine a core promise of the Affordable Care Act: to make basic health protections available to all Americans for the first time. Major rate increases also threaten to cause a backlash just as the law is supposed to deliver many key benefits Obama promised when he signed it in 2010.

Comments: Now "affordability" is the big concern. And Levey goes so far as to say the Administration may not have told the whole truth...
Back on December 5, 2012, Levey reported the Obama party line:
´Obamacare´ saves consumers nearly $1.5 billion http://lucianne.com/thread/?artnum=714566

This is a surprise to who? Thank you again low information voters for putting these people in office. Yes our rates are going up and that will be only the beginning. Remember all of Obama´s buddies whose companies will be exempt from this nightmare as are our elected officials.

As the health care insurance rates go up, the Democrats chances in the 2014 election will go down!

Our premiums for $10,000 deductible Family HSA plan are up over 100% from $590 to $1210 - since Dr. Obama ook over the health insurance business. Part of this is a result of add ons by CA legislature that couldn´t leave horrible alone without adding their manadatory gold plated "free" requirements. Part of moving out of CA is an immediate savings of 20%-30% on insurance premiums with only coverage loss being a bunch of things you didn´t want.

Your wonderful theoretical systems never work in the real world. Obamacare was designed to force a massive wealth shift from younger healthy individuals to older sicker individuals. They´d use adjusted community rating and force everyone into the insurance pool. They left too many ways out. It´s easier to pay a small fine. Add in the cost shifting from 30 million new medicaid patients and you have a system that can´t survive.
I expect a change in the law to declare children to be 35 and under so they can stay on their parents plan longer.

By now, a person with a passing familiarity with this president´s promises, would think twice before believing any of them.
It still astounds me that people are only now wiping the fairy-dust out of their cobwebbed brains.

I think the problem here is that POLITICIANS have discovered that their BASE of "Invincibles" are going to get stuck with HUGE increases in THEIR mandated insurance coverage. Then, those very save voters are going to be extremely reluctant to go out in the cold next election cycle to vote for MORE Democrat rules over their lives. Many of these "Invincibles" didn´t even want insurance, they didn´t think they needed it and now they´re going to be forced to pay lots of their disposable cash for it when they could be having fun in the Bars with that cash. The joke is on them. They should have read the fine print of Obamacare before voting again for THE ONE!

And here comes the PANIC to slow down the huge increases in medical coverage...at least TILL AFTER THE 2014 ELECTIONS...these lying Democrats who OWN the Obamacare law will try anything to save their own skins and stay in power, who cares what the public has to pay, they exempted themselves. That takes care of #1...the useful idiots...well that´s another story. Kick the can down the road, they will be retired by then...

The left loves to remind everyone that the former IRS commissioner was a Bush appointee, because somehow this makes it OK that his IRS office abused power to criminally target conservatives. For a party that loves to blame Bush, they sure love signing off on everything Bush did and then maximizing it times eleventy. Shulman may have been a Bush appointee, but he was an Obama donor: Shulman donated $500 to the Democratic National Committee in 2004. So let’s start calling him “Democrat supporter” Doug Shulman. All this shows is that Bush wasn’t an ideological bigot.

Seven months we’ve been waiting for someone, anyone, to ask the White House staff what was President Obama doing on the night the Benghazi attacks took place. We have researched this on our own and have him tracked from 4pm to around 7:30pm (EST). But after 7:30pm it is a total BLACKOUT – an unknown void of information. Finally after seven MONTHS. Chris Wallace asks White House Communications Director, Dan Pfeiffer, what was President Obama doing. (Snip) they are hiding what actually took place that night. They are desperately trying to cover the President’s intentional uninvolvement.

White House advisor Dan Pfeiffer said “the law is irrelevant” when asked by ABC’s George Stephanopoulos Sunday about whether President Obama thought the IRS’ targeting of conservative groups was illegal: Stephanopoulos: What does the president believe? Does the president believe that would be illegal? Pfeiffer: I can’t speak to the law here. The law is irrelevant. The activity was outrageous (Snip) Stephanopoulos: You don’t really mean the law is irrelevant, do you? Pfeiffer: What I mean is whether it’s legal or illegal is not important to the fact that the conduct doesn’t matter.

Treasury officials were made aware in June 2012 that the IRS inspector general was reviewing the office that handles tax-exempt applications, but a letter from October shows that the inspector general did not highlight the audit as a top concern for the agency. In a memo dated October 15, 2012, to then-Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner about IRS challenges for 2013, Inspector General J. Russell George noted other problem areas, but made no mention of the investigation taking place at the time of the agency´s intense scrutiny of conservative groups seeking tax-exempt status.

It eventually comes down to who — who at the IRS was responsible for targeting conservative and Tea Party groups for special scrutiny. Because, after all, you can’t put a “system” in jail. You can’t put a report in prison. You can’t indict a department for corruption. At the end of the day it’s people who are responsible for using the enormous powers of the Internal Revenue Service to go after other people and groups because of their political beliefs. U.S. Rep. Kevin Brady (R-Texas) told the tale of one of his constituents who applied for tax-exempt status for her Tea Party group in July 2010.

Flesh-eating bacteria amputee Aimee Copeland now uses the latest technology in prosthetic hands to chop vegetables, pick up tiny items like Skittles, and comb and iron press her hair. With the bionic hands, Copeland is looking forward to cleaning her house -- she´s a neat freak, she tells CNN -- and cooking her own food. She´s something of a foodie but has been able to eat only microwaveable foods, she adds. (Snip)"It just mimics so well a natural hand that it really just reminds me of before the accident, how I would have done things,"

WASHINGTON – The Internal Revenue Serviced scandal today spread further within the White House and closer to President Obama. White House spokesman Jay Carney today disclosed that Obama’s chief of staff, Dennis McDonough, and other top White House officials had advance warning that the IRS was targeting conservative groups. But he insisted McDonough and the other White House officials purposely kept Obama out of the loop.McDonough “rightly chose not to take action” to inform Obama, Carney told reporters at the daily White House briefing.

The Washington Post on Monday reported that Obama’s Department of Justice was investigating journalists before they started wiretapping the Associated Press – for one, Fox News correspondent James Rosen in 2010. Their headline wasn´t "Obama Team Also Spied on Fox News." Fox wasn´t in the headline, on A-1 or on A-12, where the story continued. Newly obtained court documents “reveal how deeply investigators explored the private communications of a working journalist — and raise the question of how often journalists have been investigated as closely as Rosen was in 2010.” Reporter Ann Marimow began:

So actually asked CNN´s Candy Crowley of her guest Sen. A senior adviser to President Obama mounted a combative defense of the administration on Sunday, saying the controversies enveloping the White House were the result of Republican lawmakers’ trying to “drag Washington into a swamp of partisan fishing expeditions, trumped-up hearings and false allegations.”The remarks came from Dan Pfeiffer, a member of the president’s inner circle, as he appeared on all five major Sunday morning talk shows in an effort to move the administration past what commentators have described as a “hell week” of controversy and missteps.

Stuart Varney said this morning on "Varney & Co." that one of his producers was given a questionnaire with some surprisingly intrusive questions on it when he switched doctors. One of the questions was whether he/she was concerned about unsecured weapons in the home. Another asked whether he/she was "in a relationship in which you have been physically hurt or are you afraid of your partner?" Judge Andrew Napolitano explained that the question about guns comes out of a post-Sandy Hook executive order by President Obama, but it will be required under Obamacare. Varney expressed amazement

While many Americans were tuned into news coverage of the massive damage from tornadoes ravaging the state of Oklahoma, Rhode Island Democratic Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse took to the Senate floor to rail against his Republican colleagues for denying the theory of anthropogenic global warming. Whitehouse spent 15 minutes chastising GOP senators and justified his remarks by alluding to states that seek federal assistance in the wake of natural disasters. “So, you may have a question for me,” Whitehouse said. “Why do you care? Why do you, Sheldon Whitehouse, Democrat of Rhode Island, care
