In the past, if you wanted to take over a country, you would gather your army and go shoot until they gave up.

If our government had any sense of self-preservation, some agency would rise up and put a stop to this invasion.
0bama...and all the underlings who help implement his program goals should individually be in prison for treason, and awaiting execution. Just as the Nazis were guilty for blindly following orders, those who work to implement treasonous programs are guilty for failing to say, "Stop, this is immoral!"
This is treason pure and simple, a planned end to our sovereignty and even existence as a nation much less a prosperous one.

The answer to the headline question is pretty easy. The liberal Democrats look at the class of immigrant who is likely to become a public charge to also be a prospective new liberal Democrat voter or is connected to a family of such potential voters.
As General Patton is said to have remarked while visiting Washington, DC during the great World War II, "It´s hard to not find a politician around here who would not urinate on the American flag for a vote". That´s why the immigration laws have been effectively paralyzed for years and the country is beset with 11 to 20 million illegal aliens.

Democrat votes. Obama would send absentee ballots to China if he thought he could get away with it. With ABCCBSNBCCNN reporting the news he probably could.
That being said the GOP has to go on offense on this issue. That must include vote integrity initiatives that addresses making sure that immigrants on the ´´path´´ to citizenship as a result of whatever legislation passes do not vote until said ´´path´´ leads them to their destination.

The ongoing saga of Edward Snowden has at least been moving in the right direction for President Obama. Snowden may once have tried to position himself as a whistleblower, but he has since devolved into ingratiating himself with authoritarian regimes by plying them with American national security secrets. At least for now (although a statewide referendum may be pending), Arizona governor Jan Brewer, a Republican, has succeeded in her efforts to implement a key part of Obamacare in her state. Brewer has very aggressively — and entirely voluntarily — spearheaded the charge to implement Obamacare’s massive Medicaid expansion on her watch. She now claims, however, that she’s not really implementing Obamacare — or at least not any significant portion of it. In a recent interview reported by the Associated Press, Brewer said, “This business that this is Obamacare is a little bit interesting.”

Charlie Rose last night asked President Obama his new Syria policy. The president first objected to it being called a new policy. "I´m not sure you can characterize this as a new policy. This is consistent with the policy that I´ve had throughout," he said. Obama then explained the goal is regional stability, and especially in Syria. "Really, what we´re trying to do is take sides against extremists of all sorts and in favor of people who are in favor of moderation, tolerance, representative government, and over the long-term, stability and prosperity for the people of Syria," said Obama.
