| Kabul - Afghan security forces will be banned from calling for NATO air strikes in residential areas to help in their operations, President Hamid Karzai said on Saturday, three days after 10 civilians died in such a strike in the country´s east. (Snip) "Tomorrow, I will issue an decree stating that under no conditions can Afghan forces request foreign air strikes on Afghan homes or Afghan villages during operations," Karzai told more than 1,000 officers, commandos and students. If issued, such a decree would for the first time bar Afghan security forces from relying on NATO air strikes,

The attack is claimed to have killed 10 people. By 0bama math standards, that was 4 woman & 5 children + 4 Al Qaeda [who we know used the others as "human shields]. If Karzai didn´t have nukes easily stolen by his drug-dealing bro´s buds, it would have been easier for US back in the day to put down the terrorist using his country for shelter from Afghanistan.

We have thrown away blood and treasure saving these pagans from disaster. If we do not adopt a wipe them out approach to future war/conflicts with the pagan enemy, we should stay out of it all together except in our own defense, go in wipe them out and leave.

Karzi should be allowed to "disintegrate" before we leave Afghanistan. Remember, Karzi is a Pashtun. He is trying to protect his Pashtun Taliban brothers from too many U.S. and Northern Alliance hits. Stop mentioning the stupid fiction used by Bush and Obama - The Afghan People! Afghanistan is composed of strong ethnic tribes - Pashtuns (Taliban majority), Uzbeks, Tajiks, Turkomen plus others. Once we depart the Afghan central government fiction will fall apart. Uzbeks, Tajiks, Turkomen and others DON´T trust the Pashtuns and their Taliban brothers.

Do you think maybe the Taliban will not use this to their advantage in attacking towns and cities?
Why don´t you just tell them how many troops you have, where they are stationed, where they are going next?

The lawmaker leading the charge to investigate the Benghazi terror attack on Friday subpoenaed the co-author of a report that slammed the State Department but didn´t interview Hillary Clinton. House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) formally demanded that retired ambassador Thomas Pickering submit to being deposed by the committee next Thursday. The subpoena comes in the wake of a series of acrimonious public exchanges this week between the two men. Issa didn´t issue a subpoena to former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Michael Mullen, who co-authored the Benghazi report with Pickering.
