Obamas dine out
for Valentine´s Day

Washington Times, by Dave Boyer

President Obama and first lady Michelle Obama celebrated Valentine’s Day Thursday with dinner out at a restaurant in Penn Quarter in the District. The Obamas dined at MiniBar, a Jose Andres restaurant known as a tough place to get a reservation. The menu price is $225 per person, beverages not included, and the web site describes eating there as a “once-in-a-lifetime experience that pushes the limits of what’s possible with food.” Meanwhile, pool reporters covering the Obamas’ outing were holed up nearby at Austin Grill, where a burrito can be purchased for $9. Aww, how sweet. s/o Gack. There´s noting romantic about a dinner with either the Mooch or 0bama.

I wonder how many other couples´ St. Valentine´s Day Dinner was ruined by their presence, and all its security.

Or did they just reserve the whole place?

So, has anyone tried running up a total of their actual personal expenses and comparing those numbers against his salary?

Romantic? Is that how they spell nauseating these days?

If those two showed up at a restaurant I was in, the jetstream of my exit would blow off the maitre´d´s toupee.

I hope their meal was "hand-crafted, local, sustainable, organic" ...and inedible. Cheers to the first grifters.

Imagining the sight of "down low" Barry and buff arm Moo all spiffed up for Valentine´s day and being slopped like hogs at a top end restaurant is a revolting experience.

They really are repulsive at a level that defies description. And if that isn´t bad enough, now we learn that Big Moo has taken their spawn to Aspen for yet another vacation. And Barry? He´s off on Airforce One headed for Florida and a golf weekendn away from his valentine. Couldn´t have been much of a date night if the first thing they do when it´s over is head to opposite parts of the country for yet another vacation. In any case, whatever their lame and lying reasons, they will send the bill to the taxpayers of course. These people disgust me to a point I have no words.

Really you just have to go to the website that #1 provided and click on Creations (the 2nd picture). The video is about 4 minutes so if you´re pressed for time skip to 3 minutes and I´ll tell you the main ingredients are clementine and sunflower seeds. There´s no way Mrs. B0 didn´t either drink her dinner or eat first or both.

Obama administration’s ‘Culture of

Washington Times, by Valerie Richardson    Original Article

Sending scores of armed agents along with helicopters and dogs to confront an elderly Nevada rancher over grazing fees may seem like overkill, but critics say it’s not inconsistent with the federal government’s recent approach to environmental enforcement. The simmering truce between the Bundys and the Bureau of Land Management comes after high-profile raids last year by armed federal agents on small-time gold miners in tiny Chicken, Alaska, and guitar makers at the Gibson Guitar facilities in Tennessee. That doesn’t include more subtle threats, such as recent efforts by the Obama administration to raise grazing fees or pressure

Rep. Joe Garcia (D-Fla.) is among the Democrats pressing Congress to take up immigration reform. On Tuesday, he told a conference call that deportations are breaking families apart and leaving children in foster care. "So the human toll has been horrific. This president, by implementation of existing law, has been forced to deport a huge number of Americans." Although Garcia may consider the deportees to be "Americans," legally they are not. But they might become citizens if Garcia and other immigration advocates get their way. Democrats are urging Republicans to sign their discharge petition, which would force a House vote on

Key members of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform expressed outrage at revelations made in newly released emails showing ex-IRS official Lois Lerner coordinating with the Department of Justice on prosecuting nonprofit groups. One committee member said the emails prove why the IRS is “scared to give up the rest of Lois Lerner’s emails.” IRS commissioner John Koskinen was recently threatened with contempt for stonewalling the committee’s investigation. Koskinen claimed in a hearing that it could take years to provide the documents requested by Oversight. “The release of new documents

Out of left field, the state Republican Party, or the Brown campaign, or some blogger, would launch a rocket at me,” Warren wrote, adding, ”I was stunned by the attacks.” This reporter (blogger?) reported extensively

So I´m outside yesterday leaving work, and a woman stops me to say how much she loves me. I get this all the time. We chat a bit and she goes on to tell me how much she appreciates my covering what the other guys won´t. Then she said something that really stuck with me. "Neil, thank god you´re not cool." I told her, "is it that obvious?" She laughed. I laughed. But she got me thinking. It happens sometimes. I´m not cool. But I´m ok with that. Good thing, because I never was cool. But just admitting that to the mainstream media is very un-cool. Because the mainstream media

Why is US Senator Harry

I live in Las Vegas. I live and breath Nevada politics. Something is very wrong. Something smells rotten in the Nevada desert. And Senator Harry Reid’s fingerprints are all over it. I am of course referring to the Bundy Ranch siege. This was a dispute between a Nevada ranching family with rights to the land in question for 140 years and the BLM (Bureayu of Land Management). The government claims they haven’t paid grazing fees for 20 years. The result was a government assault on the ranch- including snipers with assault rifles, SUV’s, helicopters, airplanes and over 200 heavily armed troops. No

Thank God for Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration J. Russell George. His investigation of what turned out to be the IRS abuse scandal may well have saved the Constitution and the nation. For his fair and impartial investigation into the Internal Revenue Service’s abuse of Americans who dissent from President Obama’s agenda, Democrats have called for an investigation of him. George should not be investigated, but perhaps the Democrats who want him investigated — Reps. Gerry Connolly (D-VA) and Matt Cartwright (D-PA) — should be. Their call for an investigation of the investigator might constitute interference with the ongoing investigation

Megyn Kelly’s "Kelly File" is a great news show. She’s incisive, informed and customarily handles the toughest guest with aplomb. But her lengthy interview of Facebook C.O.O. Amazing that she of all people allowed Sandberg to restring the same old, same old, shamed, and shopworn feminist myths about women and girls and then jangle it in front of her viewing audience like something new out of the box. Indeed Kelly all but genuflected in front of this woman. Kept her on thru

Less than a minute into his speech at the Boston marathon bombing memorial on Tuesday, Vice President Joe Biden went tragically off script and told the crowd of Boston bombing survivors that "it was worth it." After expressing how impressed he was with the tribute, he said somberly, "let me say to those ´quote survivors,´ my God, you have survived and you have soared. It was worth it. I mean this sincerely - just to hear each of you speak. You´re truly, truly inspiring." The audience sat in stunned silence until Biden declared, "I´ve never heard anything so beautiful than

Casual marijuana use may come with some not-so-casual side effects. For the first time ever, researchers at Northwestern University have analyzed the relationship between casual use of marijuana and brain changes – and found that young adults who used cannabis just once or twice a week showed significant abnormalities in two important brain structures. The study’s findings, to be published Wednesday in the Journal of Neuroscience, are similar to those of past research linking chronic, long-term marijuana use with mental illness and changes in brain development. Dr. Hans Breiter, co-senior study author, said he was inspired to look at the effects of casual

Look, everyone loves Sean Connery, particularly Sean Connery. That’s why he plays Sean Connery in every movie he’s in. People love that Scottish brogue so much, they don’t mind that he has it when he plays Juan Sánchez Villa-Lobos Ramírez, an immortal Spaniard in Highlander. The guy even won an Oscar for playing an Irish cop with a Scottish accent. Talk about sexist double standards: Meryl Streep has to master foreign dialects to get her golden statuettes. Connery just has to show up on time. In economics you devalue a currency by printing too much of it. In film you

Toddlers show racial bias when picking playmates, a study reveals. They also take account of how fairly others behave. Researchers tested the reaction of white 15-month-olds as toys were distributed. Two white adults divided the toys, one equally and the other unequally. Seventy per cent of the toddlers chose to play with the researcher who distributed the toys fairly. But in a second test, when one researcher favoured a white recipient over an Asian one, they picked the ‘fair’ researcher less often, the journal Frontiers in Psychology reports. And the babies are more likely to help those who share the same ethnicity, which is known as
