Federal prosecutors are now ready to file their plea agreement with Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr., CBS 2 has learned. Jackson’s wife, Sandi, faces legal troubles under the arrangement. Formal charges against Jesse Jackson Jr. could be filed as soon as Friday and Tuesday at the latest. His plea has also implicated his wife, leading to tax fraud charges against her.

I can see why he suffered nervous exhaustion. The truth hurts when it catches up with you. Will he get a soft plea deal or pay the penalty?

I would not agree to any lighter sentences for him. I Want him to do the full extent of the sentence. No short cuts, shorter terms, etc.

Unfortunately both Jackson´s will not do any time in prison even though they should. They are black, they will be treated differently than other white collar criminals. Sorry but that´s the way that it is in the big city.

I don´t know Jason Collins per se, nor do I think I would ever wish to. [Snip] It is perhaps one thing for Collins to "out" himself as a homosexual, after years of copulating with both men and women, and quite another to begrudge the courtesy of this highly pertinent information to his then beard, er... fiancé. Certainly, the propensity towards same-sex attraction does not fall upon one unawares, as would a meteorite, and a principled individual would consider such special knowledge a significant factor in any future marital equation.

Conservative radio host Mark Levin is very skeptical of the idea that President Obama had absolutely no idea about the IRS tea party targeting before the story broke in the news mere weeks ago. Levin declared adamantly that it is a “flat-out, bald-faced lie” that Obama didn’t know beforehand, citing prior reports by a few conservative news outlets picking up on the news well before the 2012 presidential election. On “Fox News Sunday” last weekend, White House aide Dan Pfeiffer was asked about President Barack Obama’s whereabouts the night of the Sept. 11 attack in Benghazi. This was the night when we lost our first ambassador in 30 years, and when three other Americans were killed in an attack that lasted all night long at multiple locations within the eastern Libyan city. Since the president is commander in chief, one would think where he was and what he did during such an event would be of obvious public concern.
