| It’s no secret that some Jewish organizations pay their staff very generous salaries that enable them to live a more than comfortable life in America, along with benefits such as trips to Israel, dinners and parties at prestigious restaurants and venues, and the opportunity to hobnob with celebrities and public officials who love Israel and the Jews. (Snip) What would be the higher value: Jewish principle and long-term Jewish safety, or present-day comfort and prestige? For a recent example, I turn to the nomination of Chuck Hagel for Secretary of Defense by President Obama.

OP and #1 are right, and it´s refreshing to read such honesty.
It is beyond comprehension why any Jewish man or woman would support Democrats in the Age of Obama. I think they all must be wannabe Neville Chamberlains.
Shame on the good Jewish people of New York who fell for Hillary Clinton´s bs about supporting Israel when she ran for the Senate. She pretended to be Israel´s biggest supporter. As SOS she was a miserable failure where Israel was concerned. Is that because her top aide, Huma Abedin, is a Muslim?
IMHO Israel´s security is threatened now more than at almost any time since WWII. Our government seems intent on hindering Israel´s ability to defend itself.
I would enthusiastically support Benjamin Netanyahu if he ran for our President. Obama opened that door, when the Supreme Court didn´t adhere to the U.S. Constitution, which would have prohibited a foreigner* from becoming president.
*Even if BHO were born in the U.S., which is still questionable, his alleged father BHO, Sr. was not an American citizen. Why not go all the way and allow a strong, Israeli, American supporter to become President? hmm?

I support the right of the Israelis to exist. Who am I to say that a people should not? Is that arrogant beyond description or what? If I had the ability, the right, the power to rid the planet of people I would have far more and better choices than the Jews. Who needs terrorists? Who needs oppressors because they choose to thank, praise, acclaim a creator? Yes I would make more breathing space very quickly with evil candidates but that´s not my job or capability. The Jews have been very creative, intelligent, resourceful and enduring. What I can´t understand is why they support a political party that has NO use for them other than their votes and money...why in the world do they vote for Obama who denies the Jewish State political and military backing while outfitting the Muslim Brotherhood with latest model F-16s and top of the line Battle tanks that WILL be used against Israel??? Wake up Jews or there will not be a ´next year in Jerusalem´.

When you get right down to it, the political targeting and stalling of tax-exempt applications by the IRS was an effort to defund the Tea Party. Rick Santelli, one of the Tea Party founders and my CNBC colleague, was the first to make this point. Conservative radio host Mark Levin is very skeptical of the idea that President Obama had absolutely no idea about the IRS tea party targeting before the story broke in the news mere weeks ago. Levin declared adamantly that it is a “flat-out, bald-faced lie” that Obama didn’t know beforehand, citing prior reports by a few conservative news outlets picking up on the news well before the 2012 presidential election. The fact that this bit of information was conveyed to the protesters by a Department of Homeland Security officer who was also in attendance. On “Fox News Sunday” last weekend, White House aide Dan Pfeiffer was asked about President Barack Obama’s whereabouts the night of the Sept. 11 attack in Benghazi. This was the night when we lost our first ambassador in 30 years, and when three other Americans were killed in an attack that lasted all night long at multiple locations within the eastern Libyan city. Since the president is commander in chief, one would think where he was and what he did during such an event would be of obvious public concern.
