Cartel Kingpin Chicago´s
New Public Enemy No. 1

NBC Chicago, by Michael Tarm

Authorities in Chicago are naming a drug kingpin in Mexico as the city´s Public Enemy No. 1 — a label first given to gangster Al Capone and one that hasn´t been used since Prohibition. Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman is being singled out for his role as leader of the powerful Sinaloa cartel, which supplies the bulk of narcotics sold in the city, according to the Chicago Crime Commission and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration.

And what does the Ballerina thug have to say about this?

What happens when you find the connection between drugs, gangs, union thugs and Chicago based community activists?

Uh, wasn´t Wayne LaPierre called a racist by the LSM for pointing out Hispanic gangs as a threat?

Yeah, let´s blame everyone except for the people who are actually committing the violence in Chicago.

The problem with going after Guzman is that he is well liked in Western Mexico. He´s very benevolent, helping poor families, buying school supplies, employing people, etc. He runs his organization unlike the other cartels in Mexico with their extortion and kidnapping. The Mexican authorities in Gusmans area seem to have a symbiotic relationship with him --- not unlike the mobs and city hall in Chicago.

Sounds like the scenerio in the most excellent classic TV series, ´´CRIME STORY,´´ which is available on Netflix!

Sidebar: Chicago´s Al Capone vacationed in Florida.......

Capone had more class than Hussein and Emanuel.

My L.A. landlord was originally from Chicago and "knew Al Capone."

Capone had lots of friends in the Italian community who in fact made wine for him
during Prohibition, according to landlord.

#5, Capone was known to do the same thing, provide services and food to the needy in
the Chicago of his day. He kept his friends and neighbors happy, they protected him.

My landlord was not in the mob, but did claim to have killed six people. But when
I mentioned that fact to someone, he said to keep it quiet, no statute of limitations.

I had to laugh when a prominent law enforcement official looked at his house
for sale. It was tempting to say, "By the way, did X ever tell you about his... ?"

But I kept quiet and lived to tell another day. Landlord is since deceased of old age.
His notorious relative is mentioned in a book about Chicago crime boss Sam Giancana.
Died exactly the way the book says he died.
Sixteen slugs on the walk home from church, crawled home two blocks to his own bed, and died there. Kaput. Left a bloody sidewalk trail.

El Chapo has about the same thing to look forward to, I guess.

How much you want to bet that Barry´s & Holder´s Fast & Furious fiasco provided arms to this kingpin. That was the duo´s first salvo as an excuse for gun control.

yes #12, as a matter of fact Obama´s administration sold the Fast & Furious guns to Guzman´s Sinaloa gang

Marc Thiessen makes a point I was preparing to write up, and wish I had written: The real culprit behind James Clapper’s false testimony to Congress regarding NSA data collection isn’t Clapper, but rather Sen. Ron Wyden who asked the question to which Clapper responded. Since Thiessen went first, I’ll let him explain: What is outrageous is not that Clapper tried to protect classified information in an open session, but that Senator Ron Wyden asked him the question in open session the first place.

When women start doing what men have traditionally done, yours is a civilization of the setting sun. This is brought to mind when pondering a recent Pew Research Center study showing that women are now the primary or sole breadwinners in 40 percent of American households. You may have heard the story -- it created quite a stir on Fox News, with Greta Van Susteren and Megyn Kelly (who became quite hysterical) taking exception to male colleagues´ warnings about the development´s sociological implications.

The world is presently inundated with revelations or reminders of the U.S. federal government´s various means of collecting information about everyone´s private correspondence, of how bureaucratic offices sympathetic to the current administration are using private information to target political opponents, and of how federal officials are using legitimate national security concerns to build support for increasing public surveillance and private "data-mining" so ominous that a "career intelligence officer" felt compelled to reveal the secret data-mining system, explaining that "They quite literally can watch your ideas form as you type."

The attempted snow job by the American Muslim Advisory Council (AMAC) of Tennessee which sponsored the joint Department of Justice/FBI event, "Public Disclosure in a Diverse Society," Tuesday night in Manchester, Tennessee, did not work with the 2,000 attendees. Claims that American Muslims are loyal citizens, partners in counterterrorism investigations, part of radicalization prevention efforts, and an integral part of American society for centuries fell flat, especially coming from the host organization that was formed only two years ago in response to anti-shariah legislation in the Volunteer State.

The National Security Agency is currently collecting the telephone records of millions of US customers of Verizon, one of America´s largest telecoms providers, under a top secret court order issued in April. [Snip] The document shows for the first time that under the Obama administration the communication records of millions of US citizens are being collected indiscriminately and in bulk – regardless of whether they are suspected of any wrongdoing. The secret Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (Fisa) granted the order to the FBI on April 25, giving the government unlimited authority

Doctors at the University of Michigan have saved a baby’s life using the marvels of modern technology to “print” the child a new airway using a goundbreaking 3-D printer to restore his breathing. [Snip] Every day, their baby stopped breathing, his collapsed bronchus blocking the crucial flow of air to his lungs. April and Bryan Gionfriddo watched helplessly, just praying that somehow the dire predictions weren’t true.

Via Ed Morrissey, Jeffrey Lord at the American Spectator has tracked down either a fascinating coincidence or a smoking gun that puts Obama right in the middle of the IRS scandal. [Snip] According to the White House Visitors Log, provided here in searchable form by U.S. News and World Report, the president of the anti-Tea Party National Treasury Employees Union, Colleen Kelley, visited the White House at 12:30pm that Wednesday noon time of March 31st.

A group of whistleblowers, including a number of aviation experts, have come forward in a new documentary to claim that the official explanation for the crash of TWA Flight 800 was wrong and a gas tank explosion did not bring down the flight off the coast of Long Island 17 years ago. However, the six whistleblowers, all part of the original investigation team, stopped short of saying the plane was shot down. Flight 800, a Boeing 747, had just taken off from JFK airport with 230 people aboard on July 17, 1996 enroute to Paris when it exploded

An attorney whose firm represents two Benghazi whistleblowers said Gen. Martin Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, lied to the Senate when he said there was never a “stand down” order during the Benghazi attack on Sept. 11, 2012. “What was fascinating is that he explained his lie to them,” Joe DiGenova, an attorney representing one of the whistleblowers, told CNSNews.com. “He actually said they were sent to Tripoli. They were needed in Benghazi,” said DiGenova, a former U.S. attorney, now with the Washington firm of DiGenova & Toensing.

Likening religious schools to segregation--a racist system that forced blacks to attend different schools and use different facilities than whites in the American South--President Barack Obama told a town hall meeting for youth in Belfast, Northern Ireland on Monday that there should not be Catholic and Protestant schools because such schools cause division. "Because issues like segregated schools and housing, lack of jobs and opportunity--symbols of history that are a source of pride for some and pain for others--these are not tangential to peace; they’re essential to it,"

Amid a steady rise of backlash, Edward Snowden, the 29-year-old former National Security Agency contractor who was the source of a spring of leaks about the agency´s surveillance methods, conducted a live chat on The Guardian´s website Monday morning. Judging from some of the pointed questions he´s been asked and the reaction to newly leaked revelations over the past few days, it´s clear that much of the sympathy and support Snowden had built up for his early exposures is eroding. Many Americans supported his decision to leak information about a pair of National Security Agency surveillance programs, which, he detailed, gathered information

Listening to Barack Obama give his speech in Belfast on Monday, it was hard not to stifle a yawn. I kept waiting for the part when he would say something interesting, but, about three quarters of the way through, realised it wasn’t going to come. Judging from television pictures some of his young audience felt the same, after the initial rush of euphoria of receiving the rock star president in their midst had passed. This is not surprising, for we had already heard this number about the inspirational role of the Northern Ireland peace process and the Emerald Isle’s

Celebrity chef Paula Deen admitted in a recorded deposition to telling racist jokes, using the N-word, and planning a slavery-themed wedding, according to multiple reports. The May 17 deposition where she made the alleged admissions is part of a $1.2 million lawsuit brought by Lisa Jackson, the former manager of a Savannah, Georgia, restaurant run by Deen and her brother Bubba Hiers. Jackson alleges in the suit that Deen used the N-word at the restaurant and that Hiers sexually harassed her. According to the reports, in the deposition, Deen replied “Yes, of course,”

This is the thirtieth anniversary of the publication of How Democracies Perish, an analysis of the spread of world communism by Jean-François Revel, one of freedom´s most serious French defenders since Tocqueville. At the heart of this work, Revel details "The Tools of Communist Expansion," among which the most relevant for understanding our current situation comes in Chapter 16, "Ideological Warfare and Disinformation." The profound simplicity of Revel´s nuts and bolts account of totalitarianism´s Cold War advance, far from being obsolete
