| Taylor Swift´s environmentally minded ex-boyfriend Conor Kennedy ended up in handcuffs after taking part in a high-profile protest over global warming outside the White House Wednesday. The 18-year-old Kennedy heir, who had enjoyed a brief summer romance with the country singer, was arrested along with his father, Robert F. Kennedy Jr, actress and activist Daryl Hannah and dozens of others. The protesters had attached themselves with zip-ties to the gates of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in an act of civil disobedience meant to draw attention to the controversial Keystone XL oil pipeline. The group were demanding that President Obama reject the

Both Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus have become disappointments to me, the celebrity cult has co-opted them both. There has to be a better choice of a man for Taylor,or don´t date at all.

It was hilarious when the Kennedy women got all huffy because Conor was dating Taylor. Like anyone is too good for a murdering, raping bunch of Kennedys. Pretty much any woman breathing is too good for the Kennedys.

Why did the police remove the zip ties that they used to attach themselves to the gates? Why did they arrest them? Why give them the publicity?
Seems to me that it would have been more appropriate to simply HANDCUFF these nitwits to the gates, and have them stand outside for 8 or 10 hours in subfreezing temperatures. After that, they´d be wishing for global warming to thaw themselves out.

After standing out in the chill they would have soon cut their own plastic ties and gone inside to warm up and plan their next protest.
These people never see how inconsistent their lifestyles are compared to what they proclaim. By the way, they don´t know what they are talking about.

Taylor Swift has slept with as many men as her age. She has become a joke with her songs about "breaking up" She finds a guy and uses him and dumps him then writes a song. She makes money at it.

Actually the protest was to draw attention to themselves. When was the last time you heard of Darrell Hannah? And the last time we heard of Robert Kennedy, it was negative, certainly not ´saving our planet´.

A uniformed French soldier on anti-terrorist duties in Paris had his throat cut by a knife-wielding man tonight. The savage attack follows the murder of a British soldier by two men using weapons including knives and a meat cleaver. One of the suspects said they were acting in the name of Islam. Today there were fears that the Paris attack was a copy-cat crime and that a radical Muslim might once more be responsible. French Defence Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian said he believes the attack was aimed to kill the soldier. French president Francois Hollande said authorities were investigating any

Barack Obama announced an end to America’s war on terror last week. In future, he declared, he would restrict the unmanned drone attacks that had been his own signature anti-terrorist initiative, and he would really, really make an effort to shut down the prison camp at Guantánamo Bay--as he had promised to do way back when he was running for president the first time. Presumably, this pronouncement was designed to win back the favour of the liberal media, which has been energetically disowning him ever since his administration staggered into the most spectacular series of Washington scandals since Watergate.

There has been a sixth night of rioting in Sweden´s capital, Stockholm, despite police reinforcements being deployed. Cars were set alight in poor suburbs inhabited largely by immigrants, although the unrest was reportedly not as serious as on previous nights. The rioting also spread outside the capital for the first time on Friday, with youths torching vehicles and buildings in two towns. [Snip] It is believed they were sparked by the death of an elderly man nearly a week before, who was shot by police after he allegedly threatened to kill them with a machete.

The leader of the Lebanese Shia militant Hezbollah movement, Hassan Nasrallah, has promised his supporters victory in Syria, where his fighters are backing President Bashar al-Assad. Mr Nasrallah said Hezbollah would stay in the conflict till the end. Syrian rebels in the besieged town of Qusair say they are under heavy bombardment from Hezbollah combatants. The town is close to the Lebanese border, a conduit for both the government and rebels to get weapons. [Snip] He said his movement could never be aligned with Syrian rebels who, in his view, were supported by the United States and Israel.

One of the men suspected of murdering a soldier in Woolwich, south-east London, was detained by police two months ago, Sky News has been told. Local shopkeepers say Michael Adebowale was part of a group of Muslim activists who had been reported to police several times. They were told the authorities were aware of him. It comes as a preliminary report into what the intelligence services knew about Adebowale and his fellow suspect Michael Adebolajo is set to be handed over to an inquiry next week. Sir Malcolm Rifkind, chairman of the parliamentary Intelligence and Security Committee, said he had

[Snip] More than 150,000 fans of both clubs have descended on the capital for club football´s biggest game, with many gathering in central London this afternoon. The YouTube footage appears to have been taken outside Wembley and shows fans initially goading each other after getting off coaches. The Metropolitan Police has defended the way it responded to reports of the killing in Woolwich, south London, after questions were raised about how long it took officers to reach the scene. The force said police were there within nine minutes of the first emergency call and firearms officers were at the scene five minutes after that. Mayor Boris Johnson was heckled when he visited the area. BBC London´s Home Affairs Correspondent Guy Smith spoke with Assistant Commissioner Mark Rowley, former Metropolitan Police Commander John O´Connor and Roger Gray, a former firearms officer.

On Wednesday, Drummer Lee Rigby of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, a man who had served Queen and country honorably in the hell of Helmand Province in Afghanistan, emerged from his barracks on Wellington Street, named after the Duke thereof, in southeast London. Minutes later, he was hacked to death in broad daylight and in full view of onlookers by two men with machetes who crowed "Allahu Akbar!" as they dumped his carcass in the middle of the street like so much roadkill. As grotesque as this act of savagery was, the aftermath was even more unsettling

Washington rumor has it that Obama wants to be U.N. Secretary General. There are several reasons that make that likely, and if it´s true, it throws new light on a lot of Obama´s oddities -- including his Royalty Bows, his Apology Tours, his Muslim Sellout, and the Benghazi Cover-Up. But first -- why would Obama be planning to become the chief of the U.N. before he has even finished his second term?

MARK LEVIN: So why didn´t Chairman Issa hold an investigative hearing a year ago? Why didn´t Chairman Camp, all Republicans, hold an investigative hearing a year ago, and all the other tripping over themselves right now? I´ll tell you why. Because the establishment Republicans, the RINO Republicans, despise the Tea Party. They despise the conservative movement. We exist to be managed, to be shuttled to the polling place, to vote for their candidates. The Karl Roves of the world, and all the rest of them. They fight us in the primaries, they fight us at the grassroots.

Fox News chief Roger Ailes has sent a memo to his subordinates at the leading cable news network. He sent this memo to his staff today in connection with the federal investigation into an alleged leak to Fox News reporter James Rosen, a story that the Washington Post’s Ann E. WASHINGTON —In a dramatic departure from existing White House procedures, President Obama requested today that his staff start cc’ing him on stuff. “Look, I know a lot of you think I’m really busy and you don’t want to bother me,” the President reportedly told his staff in an Oval Office meeting. “But cc me anyway. It’s good for me to keep up on what’s going on around here.” “It’s not good when I turn on the news and they’re talking about something at the White House and I’m like, whoa, when did that happen?”

Abuse Of Power: Any scandal investigation that expects a "Eureka!" moment, a White House e-mail, or Oval Office smoking gun will be misguided. In fact, the dots are already connected directly to the president. Barack Obama is not foolish enough to have a tape recording system hidden in his desk. And his administration staff are not careless enough to send one another incriminating e-mails. If the president was behind the IRS unlawfully harassing conservative groups seeking tax-exempt status, we can be sure the communications were all sotto voce and in persona, like any good Chicago political operator.
