The lust for power is a self destructive force in itself.Right now,the left and the counter culture,being abetted by a soul selling media are on quite a roll trying to dominate this country with a long term eye on world domination and a one size fits all world government.

There´s no where to turn to in today´s world for one ounce of sanity.Once in a while the supreme court used to be a show stopper for the left but they simply ignore court rulings any more.

Anyone who has the gall to speak out against these thugs will have their lives ruined within one day. There´s a big brain that sends out blast emails to the media to give them a storyline to latch onto.

This is what concerns me about Dr.Carson getting into politics. He´s a fine,decent human being who´s done countless surgeries along with spreading his knowledge to doctors of the future.I don´t want to see the man personally destroyed by the leftist animals.

The media and left has already coronated Hillary as he next president who they see as an extension of Obama´s power grabbing autocracy.

The left´s dynasty thinking will implode before then because they´re destroying the structure of this country.

The left will have to learn the lessons of history the hard way. Their answer ultimately will be a de facto single party socialist state, and "the masses" will be miserable as they were in the soviet union, and in their misery they will blame everyone but their own foolishness.

The problems in our nation and in our society are not, at heart, addressable by tinkering with marginal tax rates and budget deals. The cries by the so-called ´fiscal conservatives´ do not, and never can, overcome the rot in the nation´s soul, and in the souls of all too many citizens. Squabbling over who gets first served in a ´bread and circuses´ society is less important than ending such expectations in the first place.
Who can imagine George Washington watching ´Real Housewives´ and buying his lunch with an EBT card?

VDH´s historical analysis in this piece is oversimplified in some instances (I´m sure he knows that) and possibly off-base in others. But his central point is valid. Prosperity and military dominance breeds sloth and entitlement. This has helped take down every great empire throughout history.
