| A Michigan-based company slated to produce lithium-ion polymer batteries for electric vehicles has instead kept production overseas, has failed to meet job targets outlined in a $150 million grant from the federal government, and has been reimbursed by the government for $842,000 in wasted work time, according to a U.S. Department of Energy Special Report released Wednesday. Some of the "federally" reimbursed labor costs went to employees goofing off and volunteering at various nonprofits; not unlike how "real" government workers while away their hours on the clock.

As Mark Levin said, Democrats and Republicans guilty of such mismanagement, outright negligence, and passivity as these thieves stel us blind would be in prison if in te private sector. WHAT is wrong with us that we allow these perfumed princes to collect fat pensions when they have destroyed our country?

This disgusts me. Why are these "green" companies headed by thieves? Don´t they have any integrity? The fact that they can steal money from the government without any repercussions is disturbing and it seems to be happening on a regular basis. The global warming crowd appears to be a bunch of con men whose only goal is bilking the taxpayer. Al Gore has taught them well.

LG Chemical is the largest Korean chemical company, so of course they are sending jobs to Korea.
Why they GOT the grant in the first place, being a foreign firm and all, is the deeper mystery.
Did they, thru some subsidiaries, happen to fill the Democrat Party or Obama Election Fund coffers?

WASHINGTON - There were new questions Saturday night concerning if anyone in the White House was aware of the IRS´ targeting of conservative groups. Inspector General Russell George said he informed a deputy at the Treasury Department in June of 2012 about the probe into the IRS. The Treasury Department confirmed the timeline but said they did not know the details of the investigation until last week.(Snip)Marcus Owens ran the tax-exempt division at the IRS for 10 years. Treasury Secretary Jack Lew on Friday urged congressional leaders to raise the debt limit and insisted that the White House is not going to negotiate over the increase because lawmakers have "no choice." "We will not negotiate over the debt limit," Lew wrote. "The creditworthiness of the United States is non-negotiable. The question of whether the country must pay obligations it has already incurred is not open to debate."
