| The world as we know it is changing more and more each day. We get information non-stop and often it is clouded by the deliverer´s opinion. The State of the Union´s lofty promises and the turmoil all around the world give us a surreal feeling that our comforts are in jeopardy. Our institutions are failing and the people we trust to do the right things are failing as well. The president has taken an early step toward tyranny by ruling with Executive Order. His opposition is weakened by his rhetoric and they offer no real challenge

Senators on Tuesday rejected building the 700 miles of double-tier border fencing Congress authorized just seven years ago, with a majority of the Senate saying they didn’t want to delay granting illegal immigrants legal status while the fence was being built. Tough global rules to stop mega-rich firms and individuals from dodging tax were unveiled at the G8 summit today. David Cameron demanded the world’s most powerful countries act to stop countries shifting profits to low-cost tax havens instead of paying they dues where there are earned. The Lough Erne Declaration - signed by the UK, US, Germany, France, Italy, Canada, Japan and Russia - vows to ´fight the scourge of tax evasion´ by ensuring automatic exchange of tax information and changing the rules to stop multinational companies shifting profits across borders to avoid paying their fair share.

A controversial federal agency subject to little congressional oversight has advised its employees to include minimal details about agency events on work calendars that are subject to Freedom of Information Act requests. Chris Christie R-N.J. dodged 2016 presidential speculation by announcing that he would not wear a Speedo swimsuit on the Fourth of July. “I can announce I’m not wearing the Speedo on the Fourth of July, that’s something I’m happy to announce” Christie joked after MSNBC’s Willie Geist pressed the governor for his political aspirations. On Wednesday, at two rallies bracketing the Capitol, Tea Party and conservative activists will again take center-stage on two issues dominating the national political dialogue. Reps. Steve King, Michele Bachmann and other members of the Tea Party Caucus will host a nearly day-long dialogue and discussion on immigration reform. On the other side of the Capitol, Tea Party grass roots organizations will hold a rally to "Audit the IRS," in response to the agency´s efforts to intimidate conservative organizations. The immigration event hosted by Rep. King begins at 9am on the East side of the Capitol.

It contains a passage on the back-and-forth between labor and the Chamber that has a quote from a Rubio staffer that is going to raise eyebrows, to say the least: “There are American workers who, for lack of a better term, can’t cut it. Iran is preparing to send 4,000 troops in to Syria to support Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in the wake of America´s announcement it will be providing ´military aid´ to the country´s Muslim rebels. President Barack Obama made the pledge earlier this week after the U.S. claimed it found ´conclusive evidence´ Assad´s regime has used chemical weapons against the rebel forces--which includes the most extreme Sunni Islamists--and has called for Britain and France to back the move.
