| A real feeling of Hope & Change will pervade at tonight’s State of the Union Address. The first overriding feeling of Hope & Change that cannot be masked by the hypocrisy of the preening Obamas, by the hype of the Mainstream Media or the stridency of Nancy Pelosi. The roughly 50 percent of Americans who stand firmly against the Fundamental Transformation of America have waited four long years for someone to tell President Barack Obama he has no right to destroy an America built by its Founding Fathers. Well, all I can say, and all my family can say is Thank You God for prayers heard!
It is also refreshing to note that Dr. Carson is....get ready for it...AN INDEPENDANT!
So often on this thread Indipendants have been maligned. Dr. Carson is living proof that conservative principles, moral uprightness and virture do not soley belong to the Republican party.
I suspect that the Republican party with all its rumpswabery and RINOserasy abandon Dr. Carson as it did so many of the rest of us.
My family and I stand shoulder to shoulder with the good Doctor. HE SPEAKS FOR US!

Insiders speeches to insiders do not transcend down to the low information voter on their own. It takes constantly repeating the message by a lot of people for it to transcend.

president skeeter is a product of affirmative action and self esteem nonsense. He really does believe that he is special and the smartest person in the room. How dare Dr. Carson have a different opinion. How dare a black man disagree.

This is one of those days when ya´ sorta´ regret there´s no ´Mad Max Television´ crew to broadcast Dr. Carson over the top of the Obama ´State of My Narcissism´ speech...
I particularly enjoyed how upset Democrats became over the fact that Carson merely had to open his mouth for a few minutes to basically debunk the entire Obama administration.
Hear that liberals? It ain´t - as you pretend ad nauseum - anything to do with ´racism´...
The fact is - plain and simple - Obama does NOT represent the ideals of the American populace - he´s simply a master at pandering and vote buying...
And no ´State of the Union´ utterance from his lips will change that reality.

Dr Carson spoke for nearly 27 minutes, and the only thing he had was apparently a note card with an outline, because he barely referred to it.

PANORAMA CITY — School board members have approved a plan to rename a San Fernando Valley elementary school after First Lady Michelle Obama. Los Angeles Unified board members voted unanimously Tuesday to name Valley Region Elementary School No. 13 after Mrs. Obama. The campus, which was opened last August to relieve overcrowding at nearby elementary schools, focuses on healthy eating for students, a cause championed by Mrs. Obama’s “Let’s Move” campaign. The First Lady was in Germany on Wednesday as President Obama meets with Prime Minister Angela Merkel and other leaders.

Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz announced an amendment to the Senate immigration bill to block a pathway to citizenship for illegal immigrants on Wednesday. Cruz previously attempted to insert the amendment to prevent a pathway in the Judiciary Committee mark-up of the legislation.
