| As part of a discussion with voters about Obamacare funding, Rep. Corrine Brown (D-Fla.) told one man, “Don’t confuse me with any facts.” “This is part of the problem,” Brown told an audience member who had asked about the billions of dollars cut from Medicare under the Affordable Health Care Act. “In this time period it’s just like -- don’t confuse me with any facts. I was at a town hall meeting with AARP, and they talked about the pros and cons and explained everything. So I would suggest that you go and read what they have

Comments: When you have complete idiots like her in Washington it´s not surprising we are in a state of disaster. And there are many, many more just like her. There may have been some who asked intelligent questions from the audience, but unfortunately, there are too many more who aren´t that voted her into office. It´s terribly frustrating and depressing.

"Don´t confuse me with any facts."
I believe that´s the mentality of the incremental commies, I mean, the progressives. You believe that´s their mentality, too.
But in this case, that isn´t what Brown is saying here. She´s trying to mock opponents by claiming that is what THEY are saying to her.
Sheesh, folks -- with so much good, low-hanging fruit in this argument, why are we going for something this stupid?
Shame on Scheiner for portraying this so cluelessly.

So...a RAT comes right out in the open and says to use AARP as a reference and source of information for a congresswoman who is dumber than a moulting chicken? Then again, who really should be surprised that the corrupt AARP organization that´s totally in the Obama tank would be her recommendation. Seniors with smarts should quit AARP as fast as possible. Every single dollar that isn´t corrupted inside AARP goes straight to the RATs.

Actually, racial gerrymandering is a good thing. It packs Democrats into sprawling districts so that Republicans get easily elected in the remaining districts. That´s why the House of Representatives is going to stay Republican for a long time.

No, she didn´t -- at least not in the exchange being reported here. I hate when mainstream media Socialists do this to Conservatives. And it´s just as evil for one of our side to do this to one of theirs.

Despite first lady Michelle Obama´s four-year campaign to wean the nation off Big Macs and Big Gulps, obesity in America rose last year, continuing an unbroken 15-year streak, according to new figures from the Centers for Disease Control. In an early release of some data in its 2012 National Health Interview Survey, the CDC said that 28.9 percent of adults are obese, a small but significant jump from 28.7 percent in 2011. Officials were hoping that 2012 would snap the trend. As a result, the CDC found that the nation´s obese population

During his speech in Berlin today, President Obama declared once again that the “decade of war” against terrorism was coming to an end. “The Iraq war is now over, the Afghan war is coming to an end, Osama bin Laden is no more, our efforts against al Qaeda are evolving,” he declared. Obama reminded the crowd that it was time for world to move beyond the mindset of perpetual war. “In America that means redoubling our efforts to close the prison at Guantanamo. It means tightly controlling our use of new technologies like drones. It means balancing the

The White House pool report reveals that only 6,000 will be in attendance for Obama´s Berlin speech today: The stage for the president´s speech is set up on the East side of the Brandenburg Gate, in the old East Berlin. The sun is pounding down and there are around 6,000 invited guests according to German authorities. There are bleachers set up either side of the square, with a big two storey riser facing the stage which has a row of bullet proof glass and 12 US, German and EU flags and the grand backdrop of the Gate.

The advocates of S. 744, the immigration bill under consideration in the U.S. Senate that would legalize many of the illegal aliens already in the United States, have argued that the proposed legislation would also secure the border and prevent future illegal immigration. However, the cost estimate of the legislation that was released on Tuesday by the Congressional Budget Office says that the legislation would actually allow the flow of new illegal aliens into the United States to continue at a rate equal to 75 percent of the current rate of illegal immigration. This will be the case,

A Taliban delegation that will enter formal talks with the United States in Qatar later this week will, according to a U.S. official, also represent the Haqqani network, a group that has existed far longer than either the Taliban or al-Qaeda and has played a key role of terror enabler to both. The notion of the Haqqani network (HQN) committing to breaking ties with al-Qaeda and, especially, renouncing violence – two of the stated U.S. conditions for the Afghanistan reconciliation process to succeed –

A group of whistleblowers, including a number of aviation experts, have come forward in a new documentary to claim that the official explanation for the crash of TWA Flight 800 was wrong and a gas tank explosion did not bring down the flight off the coast of Long Island 17 years ago. However, the six whistleblowers, all part of the original investigation team, stopped short of saying the plane was shot down. Flight 800, a Boeing 747, had just taken off from JFK airport with 230 people aboard on July 17, 1996 enroute to Paris when it exploded

Amid a steady rise of backlash, Edward Snowden, the 29-year-old former National Security Agency contractor who was the source of a spring of leaks about the agency´s surveillance methods, conducted a live chat on The Guardian´s website Monday morning. Judging from some of the pointed questions he´s been asked and the reaction to newly leaked revelations over the past few days, it´s clear that much of the sympathy and support Snowden had built up for his early exposures is eroding. Many Americans supported his decision to leak information about a pair of National Security Agency surveillance programs, which, he detailed, gathered information

An attorney whose firm represents two Benghazi whistleblowers said Gen. Martin Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, lied to the Senate when he said there was never a “stand down” order during the Benghazi attack on Sept. 11, 2012. “What was fascinating is that he explained his lie to them,” Joe DiGenova, an attorney representing one of the whistleblowers, told CNSNews.com. “He actually said they were sent to Tripoli. They were needed in Benghazi,” said DiGenova, a former U.S. attorney, now with the Washington firm of DiGenova & Toensing.

On ABC´s The View Monday, co-host Barbara Walters astonishingly defended Maher saying, "I don´t think he intended it to be mean-spirited" (video follows with transcript and commentary): WHOOPI GOLDBERG: At a recent standup show in Las Vegas, comedian Bill Maher apparently called Sarah Palin’s five-year-old developmentally-challenged son Trig retarded. Charlie Rose last night asked President Obama his new Syria policy. The president first objected to it being called a new policy. "I´m not sure you can characterize this as a new policy. This is consistent with the policy that I´ve had throughout," he said. Obama then explained the goal is regional stability, and especially in Syria. "Really, what we´re trying to do is take sides against extremists of all sorts and in favor of people who are in favor of moderation, tolerance, representative government, and over the long-term, stability and prosperity for the people of Syria," said Obama.

Marco Rubio. Paul Ryan. The IRS. Illegal immigration. And fraud to the tune of billions.. Now there’s a combustible mix. Let’s start with the IRS, illegal immigration and fraud. We’ll come back in a minute to Senator Rubio and Congressman Ryan. For those who came in late, a year before the IRS scandals burst onto the scene in early May of 2013, an alert investigative reporter for WTHR-Indianapolis (Channel 13), Bob Segall by name, produced a stunning piece of journalism. Segall’s video report is found here and we will quote from his story for the basics.
