Bam’s Benghazi two-step
New York Post, by Rick Lowry

The Obama White House is to be congratulated. It has executed one of the most effective stonewalls in recent memory over the Benghazi attack last Sept. 11 that killed our ambassador to Libya and three others. Its handling of the aftermath of the debacle is a model example of the power of obfuscation and delay. Future high-ranking officials please take note: This is how it is done. All the smart PR gurus say it is best to release bad news as soon as possible “to get ahead of the story,” as the phrase goes.

It works because during a democrat administration, the media morphs into cheerleaders.

During a republican administration, the media becomes a biased referee.

Yup, during GWB´s administration they had to manufacture the Valerie Plame "scandal" from whole cloth, and here we have a cover-up, bigger than Watergate which happened in real time right before our eyes and the MSM completely ignores it.

Because it happened during the run up to the election the media had to duck and cover for the regime as it put out that stupidly weak video story. They along with Obama have let this country down, but then at this point what difference does it make?

It´s over. There will be no more questions answered about Benghazi. The MSM deserves their share of the blame, but so also does the U.S. Senate. The senate panel questioning Hitlery was a fawning, slobbering bunch of sycophants. The House, if they do succeed in getting Clinton to testify, is our last chance. Otherwise, we will never learn what happened. But then, I think in our hearts, we know already.

Yup, a much deserved public fat ass kicking before the senate panel would have done Madam Rodham and our country some good. . . . But kissing her fat ass instead just cleared her way to the 2016 democrat nomination.

We are in deep doo.

Dittos #3. Its no great rocket science or strategy. If the media doesnt give a shiznit then the low informed citizen could care less. Woodward and Bernstein are only engaged when its a (R) after the name. None here so its "move along...nothing to see here."

It doesn´t take smarts to lie. It takes a MSM not pointing it out. Truth takes backseats to the advancement of progressive ideas. Yet the wizards of smart who run the MSM still blame the internet for a decline in views and sells.

As everyone knows, Brandeis publicly announced that they would award Ayaan Hirsi Ali an honorary doctorate--and then, under siege by nearly 30% of their professors, and by thousands of their own students, they publicly disinvited Hirsi Ali. This campaign was orchestrated by the Muslim Student Association and by the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), an organization which is the American face of Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood. Someone sent author Naomi Wolf a copy of my latest article about this scandal: “Brandeis Feminists Fail the Historical Moment.” It was my response to Brandeis’s shameful dis-invitation of Ayaan Hirsi Ali. F. Reid Buckley, a novelist, columnist, founder of a school of public speaking and, in family lore, the most literary of Aloise and William F. Buckley Sr.’s 10 children, including former Senator James L. Buckley and the conservative commentator William F. Buckley Jr., died on Monday in hospice care in Columbia, S.C. He was 83. The cause was cancer, his son William Huntting Buckley said. Mr. Buckley had lived in Camden, S.C., since the early 1970s. He was often mistaken for his brother William, the founder of the conservative magazine National Review. The brothers not only looked alike. They also shared political

Secretary of State John Kerry evidently runs a tight ship, given the paucity of leaks that emerge from his office. So we know he is organized and disciplined. He is also an energetic risk-taker, jumping into high-wire negotiations with Iran, and forcing the Israelis and Palestinians to the negotiating table -- enterprises that could likely end in failure and ruin his reputation. This is a man with character. By contrast, his predecessor at State, Hillary Clinton, appeared to take few risks and has been accused of using the position of secretary of state merely to burnish her resume in preparation

Brain Surgery Patient´s Obamacare

A New York woman suffering from a neurological disease that has required four brain surgeries has been dropped by all of her doctors and denied medications due to her Obamacare plan. "I´ve been vomiting. I lost 22 pounds. The pain is unbearable," said Margaret Figueroa, 49, on Wednesday. "My medication helps me function during the day." Figueroa suffers from a disease known as Arnold Chiari Malformation and Syringomyelia. Even though the Obamacare plan she purchased assured her that she was covered, her insurance card was denied when she went to fill her prescriptions. Then she learned that none of her

An ex-Arizona sheriff and supporter of Cliven Bundy spoke out to defend the Nevada rancher in a radio interview this week, flagged by Right Wing Watch, and he compared Bundy to Rosa Parks while decrying federal authorities for exhibiting Nazi-like tactics by saying they’re just following orders. Richard Mack told radio host Steve Deace that Bundy took a stand against the government “trying to make sure other peasants don’t rise up with their pitchforks” and said this moment is exactly like “Rosa Parks refusing to get to the back of the bus.” When Deace brought up the “just following orders” justification that

Crimea is in Moscow’s hands. Some of Kiev’s army has surrendered parts of eastern Ukraine without a fight. And now there are signs that Russian President Vladimir Putin may have picked his next targets: First a small breakaway state in Moldova, west of Ukraine, where thousands of Moscow’s troops are already stationed; then its close neighbor Odessa, Ukraine’s third-largest city and its largest remaining port, where pro-Russian and pro-government groups are tangling. If forces loyal to Putin can successfully disrupt Odessa, it could effectively cut the county of Ukraine in two.

New York City’s welfare system is managed out of a boxy 25-story office building on Water Street in Lower Manhattan. Approximately 5,000 employees work there, directing government programs that provide billions of dollars of taxpayer-funded assistance to the poor and near-poor. A solid majority of the workers at 180 Water Street are African-American or Latino; their voter registration is almost certainly overwhelmingly Democratic; and all but about 300 of them are union members. But from 1995 until this past December, the people who worked in New York’s principal social-services agency were leading one of the most conservative and successful welfare

Like him or hate him, there is no disputing that Rush Limbaugh’s very special brand of mixing right-wing politics with his flare for entertainment has produced one of the most successful radio programs in the medium’s long history. Whatever the burning political question of the day, millions of Americans have relished the opportunity to tune into Rush’s program, knowing that he would quickly take that hot potato, throw a few gallons of verbal kerosene into the mix and elevate the matter into a five alarm fire with a just a few well-chosen words spoken in the style only Rush Limbaugh could

When it comes to tracking the cost of Obama family vacations, there are two primary challenges. First, the Obamas are prolific jet-setters, so there are many details to track. Second, the Obama administration, clearly embarrassed by these lavish and frequent family vacations, stonewalls the release of records at every turn. But we have been relentless in pursuit of this information. Our attorneys file the lawsuits and make our case, and our investigators pour through pages of records and crunch the numbers. And the information we’ve uncovered – information that would otherwise remain under lock and key – shows that the

I live in Las Vegas. I live and breath Nevada politics. Something is very wrong. Something smells rotten in the Nevada desert. And Senator Harry Reid’s fingerprints are all over it. I am of course referring to the Bundy Ranch siege. This was a dispute between a Nevada ranching family with rights to the land in question for 140 years and the BLM (Bureayu of Land Management). The government claims they haven’t paid grazing fees for 20 years. The result was a government assault on the ranch- including snipers with assault rifles, SUV’s, helicopters, airplanes and over 200 heavily armed troops. No

Look, everyone loves Sean Connery, particularly Sean Connery. That’s why he plays Sean Connery in every movie he’s in. People love that Scottish brogue so much, they don’t mind that he has it when he plays Juan Sánchez Villa-Lobos Ramírez, an immortal Spaniard in Highlander. The guy even won an Oscar for playing an Irish cop with a Scottish accent. Talk about sexist double standards: Meryl Streep has to master foreign dialects to get her golden statuettes. Connery just has to show up on time. In economics you devalue a currency by printing too much of it. In film you

Out of left field, the state Republican Party, or the Brown campaign, or some blogger, would launch a rocket at me,” Warren wrote, adding, ”I was stunned by the attacks.” This reporter (blogger?) reported extensively

WASHINGTON — Former President Jimmy Carter joined fellow Nobel laureates Wednesday in opposing Keystone XL, insisting that approving the pipeline would trigger “more climate upheaval” around the globe. In an open letter to President Barack Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry, Carter and the nine other Nobel Peace Prize winners bluntly warned the leaders: “Your decision on the Keystone XL tar sands pipeline will define your climate legacy.” The missive, published as an advertisement in Politico, represents the first time Carter has taken a position on the $5.4 billion project and makes him the first former president to come

Thirty-seven percent think Obama lies “most of the time,” while another 24 percent say he lies “some of the time.” Twenty percent of voters say “only now and then” and 15 percent “never.” Click here for the poll results. President Obama has been accused by political opponents and media fact-checkers alike of telling falsehoods.
