World shaken as North Korea
´conducts underground nuclear
test´ in defiance of its one friend,
China, and multiple foes

North Korea today confirmed it had carried out its third and most successful nuclear test yet which triggered an artificial earthquake near the underground explosion site. The test was an important step toward its goal of building a bomb small enough to be fitted on a missile that could reach United States. North Korea made clear that the explosion of its third atomic device--which it claimed was smaller than the ones in its previous two tests--was a warning to what it considers a ´hostile´ United States. Its actions drew immediate condemnation from Washington, London, the U.N. and others

The only people who pee their pants about this these days are Barack and John Dumbass Kerry. Hillary, apparently, has resumed wearing dresses.

Interesting. Why the aggressive schedule? Where is the money coming from for such expensive R&D?

Answer: Iran. My guess is that the North Koreans are in fact the contract R&D vendor for Iran, both for the nukes and the missiles. That explains why the Iranians just announced that they are "already a nuclear power". It also makes it impossible for the Israelis to stop them.

The red line for our survival has just been reached.

The U.S. should use this test, combined with recent propaganda video, as provocation enough to act unilaterally and nuke North Korean test sites. There will be protests and whining from all the pu$$ies for about a week and that will be it. Secretly many nations will be thankful. This policy should apply to Iran as well.

Democrat solution? Send Madeline Albright to present then Dear Leader with a basketball (instead of a sensible pantsuit makeover) and have Clinton hand over U.S. missile tech.

Then remember when all the marxist druids screeched and gave George W Bush verbal spankings for calling North Korea "The Axis of Evil"?

Will bet anyone any amount of $ that Obama does not deviate at all tonight from his proposals to cut military and missiles! This man´s basic flaw is his outlandish arrogance: he was a community organizer (who had to give back his law license, as did Michelle---anybody ever look into that?) who thinks he knows more about everything and anything than any of his experts, except perhaps the also unqualified Valerie Jarrett. As Hagel asaid "I won´t be making policy decisions in any case." Guess who will?

Truman should have listened to MacArthur when after the Chinese entered the Korean War, changing what was victory in sight into a stalemate at best. MacArthur called for the immediate nuclear bombing of Chinese cities to get them out of the war. Truman refused, then even fired MacArthur for being defiant. MacArthur responded, "There is no substitute for victory". How true that is.

Most rational past American presidents would have treated any nuclear "warnings" as a direct threat and would have responded proactively with a strong and decisive attack to lance the boil, especially Mr Reagan. Now thanks to Bill Clinton´s ill advised gift of a nuclear reactor to the DPRK, under the pretense of it being for generating nuclear energy, it has come back to haunt us: The world to the DPRK is now smaller and within range of attacks. Forget conventional only attack worries, Bubba gave them the gift that keeps on giving.

As DPRK capabilities increase, so will their threats. This is unacceptable. We can pay now or later. One day, when the DPRK have several ballistic missiles aimed at major American cities, they may very well try blackmail such as demand for immediate and unconditional withdrawal of all South Korean based US troops. Now or later?

Seems to me the forces of evil in this world are teaming up against us. Obama will enable them with his indifference and intention to gut the military. We are not invincible and nuclear bombs will take out our cities just as they would any others. They bad guys are just waiting for Obama to bring us to our knees.

When was the last time we conducted an underground nuclear test? How do we know that our aging arsenal is fully ready? Time to abrogate the test ban treaties. If PRNK and Iran achieve nuclear weapon capability, our only counter is to rebuild and expand our own as a credible "mutual assured destruction" deterrent.

Recapping and re-emphasizing several of the good points above:

a. The Norks are indeed a beard for A-jad and the Mad Mullahs re nukes and missiles
b. China´s leaders are only interested in and supportive of the Norks if they: 1. continue to poke the US in the eye [surrogate role]; 2. don´t act against China; 3. keep their starving people from crossing into China. China´s just using the Norks, and isn´t their "friend."
c. The Nork leaders are and have been nuts; paranoia, isolation, and reading their own propaganda contribute.
d. the world´s hostile nations know, explicitly or intuitively, that Obama is damaging the US significantly and he wants to do so
e. nations that are or want to be friendly toward the American people and the America of history also know, explicitly or intuitively, that Obama is neither trustworthy nor grateful for their support of America
f. the day before the SOTU speech was chosen consciously: 1. in yo´ face, Stinky!; 2. foreign nations play our media and pols like Steinways and have for decades
g. See the decades of fun you have when you back off from winning a war?
h. a treaty creating "a nuclear-test-free world" works no better than laws creating "gun-free zones"
j. almost all the resulting blood will be that of innocents [note: skip "i" and "o" in lists etc. to avoid confusion with numbers One and Zero]

Vietnam last 12 years, and we lost about 4,500 kids a year on average in that war, Korea lasted only a few years and we lost 23,000 a year on average. And that was when we were a strong, serious nation of people who gave a sample about world peace and freedom. Now, we are a nation of quivering children, who have elected a skinny, weasel of a man as our leader who has declared himself more concerned with school children and free healthcare than world peace or national security. We are nearly catatonic with fear over a one man terror show in Southern Cal. The Norks have our measure and they no longer have any fear of us what-so-ever. The Iranians also know we can´t even subdue a pitiful little rag of a nation in Afghanistan- what do they have to fear from us? the world looks to us and sees, we can no longer even afford to put fuel in our once mighty aircraft carriers. We are has-beens. Tyrants run rampant.

I blogged yesterday about this "segregated" Muslim event organised by the Islamic Society of the University of East London, due to happen tonight at UEL´s main lecture theatre on its Docklands campus. Much to my surprise, UEL immediately banned it from their campus. [Snip] UEL should be congratulated over this. As I pointed out, it has an "equality and diversity" policy. It didn´t know that the dinner organised by the Islamic society--which was to include a speech by the controversial anti-gay preacher Murtaza Khan--was segregated by sex and was providing a platform for an extremist. The university´s decision to pull the

Tony Blair´s religious charity has links to an Islamic extremist group being investigated by MI5 and MI6, it has been alleged. [Snip] The organisation has been declared a terrorist group in Egypt and Saudi Arabia, and could be banned in Britain, despite insisting they do not have links to extremist factions. The Global Muslim Brotherhood Daily Watch, which has been looking into the group for 13 years, revealed that Dr Ismail Khudr Al-Shatti, an adviser to the Kuwaiti government and a member of Mr Blair’s advisory council, is a leading member of the Kuwaiti branch of the Muslim Brotherhood. the

Deep in the flat and featureless landscape of eastern Ukraine, it is all too possible that the outline of World War III is taking shape. Whipped up by the Kremlin propaganda machine and led by Russian military intelligence, armed men are erecting road blocks, storming police stations and ripping down the country’s flag. They are demolishing not just their own country — bankrupt, ill-run and beleaguered — but also the post-war order that has kept most of Europe and us, here in Britain, safe and free for decades. Vladimir Putin is striking at the heart of the West.

The Internal Revenue Service is considering a bold move to label perks like free lunch given to workers by companies as taxable. The agency wonders if freebies like haircuts and gym memberships are a way to compensate the highly skilled rather than just a way to jumpstart productivity. After all, argue proponents of such a tax, workers at Silicon Valley firms like Google and Facebook receive free meals from famously fancy in-house eateries every day.
