Florida Democrat Grayson returns
with nasty shots at Republicans

Washington Times, by Cheryl K. Chumley

Rep. Alan Grayson, a Florida Democrat known for his nasty and heated partisan attacks on the Republican Party, has returned for his new term with this simple threat: “I’m back,” he said. “They got rid of me for two years, but now I’m back,” he said, according to a Roll Call report. Mr. Grayson served one term in Congress before losing his 2010 re-election bid. Voters in a newly redrawn Democratic district elected him in 2012, and now he’s claiming “biggest comeback” status in the history of House elections, Roll Call reported. There are no indications Mr. Grayson will bring a calmer tone to Congress

Comments:
It is shocking and disappointing that a Republican couldn´t beat this vile individual. Was voter fraud involved in this election also? That photo of him looks demonic. The Democrats have destroyed any decorum that may have been in Washington.

Just as in the Allen West districts, this district was flipped. Vote "R" and it gets tallied as a "D." This guy is certifiable. Look into his eyes (if you can do it without vomiting) and you see nothing but a psycho.

Who are the people of this man´s district? He seems to be bottom of barrel scrapings even for typical Democrats.

His district is what they call the "I-4 Corridor" or the area around Orlando all the way to Tampa. I had the misfortune of catching a speech he gave. I worked in a psych ward. I´m not sure how he escaped.

I do not know his legal health status, but from I have seen in clips, the man acts insane. A despicable human representing his district in Congress. I know he has a decent family and maybe he is just putting on an act.
He is a sad and scary excuse for a U>S> representative. Must think he Jack Nicholson in his psycho parts, but Jack is acting for real. I don´t know about this man. All my opinion. Bitter and angry and irrational.

I assume the legislature in Fl. is controlled by republicans, yet they redrew districts that allowed this clown to be elected again along with throwing Col.West out of office.

It´s no wonder Jindal calls republicans the stupid party.

Democrats should change their mascot to the honey badger instead of the jackass.

#9 Spot on, but with all due respect, I´m one of the people who actually believe that Alan Grayson is good for the Republican Party. Lofo´s who hear this guy talk are sickened. I actually know a person who´s a lifetime lofo who went to go see this guy talk a few years ago and got a little roughed by union goons playing security guard ala the Hells Angels at a Stones concert in Altamont. The lofo knucklehead is still sleepwalking through life, but he received a good slap in the face on that day. Grayson´s antics are not good for his party and we need him to speak out daily prior to the elections in 2014.

U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) issued the following statement after a report was released claiming that the Obama Administration targeted a FOX News reporter during a leak investigation: “I am very concerned by reports the Obama Administration targeted a FOX News reporter for possible criminal prosecution for doing what appears to be normal news-gathering protected by the First Amendment. The sort of reporting by James Rosen detailed in the report is the same sort of reporting that helped Mr. Rosen aggressively pursue questions about the Administration’s handling of Benghazi.

After another troubling report about the Justice Department´s crackdown on media leaks, Megyn asks, "how many times has this happened?" We´re learning more by the minute following an explosive report by the Washington Post about the Justice Department monitoring the movements of Fox News Chief Washington Correspondent James Rosen. The DOJ was reportedly looking into Rosen´s visits to the State Department, via his security badge, in addition to obtaining search warrants for his personal phone and emails. It all stemmed from a leak by someone in the State

In an appearance on C-SPAN on Monday, Bill Kristol, editor of The Weekly Standard, scolded President Barack Obama for what reports suggest was his hands-off approach to the ongoing crisis in Benghazi on the night of an attack on that city’s American consulate. “I am willing to say that he did not behave as a President of the United States should have behaved that night,” Kristol said. A C-SPAN caller asked Kristol about the second phase of the Benghazi attack, in which militants laid siege to an annex for several hours. The caller asked about the

Fox News senior political analyst Brit Hume had strong words to describe the news that his colleague James Rosen was subject to a federal leak investigation, telling America’s Newsroom that the story may indicate that the Obama Justice Department wants to treat ordinary news-gathering activities as a crime. As we reported earlier this morning, Fox News’ chief Washington correspondent Rosen was investigated in 2009 after being suspected by Justice of receiving secret information from government sources on North Korea. As part of their investigation, Justice tracked his movements within the State Department, traced the timing

Former Rep. Ron Paul of Texas called the recent IRS fiasco troubling — but writes that the only way Congress can protect the freedoms of Americans from a long pattern of suspected IRS abuse is to “shutter the doors” of the agency “once and for all.” The longtime GOP congressman writes that IRS agents in the 1930s were essentially “hit squads” against opponents of the New Deal, and that allegations of IRS abuse spanned the administrations of Presidents Kennedy, Nixon, Clinton and George W. Bush. “The bipartisan tradition of using the IRS as a tool to harass political opponents

Stuart Varney said this morning on "Varney & Co." that one of his producers was given a questionnaire with some surprisingly intrusive questions on it when he switched doctors. One of the questions was whether he/she was concerned about unsecured weapons in the home. Another asked whether he/she was "in a relationship in which you have been physically hurt or are you afraid of your partner?" Judge Andrew Napolitano explained that the question about guns comes out of a post-Sandy Hook executive order by President Obama, but it will be required under Obamacare. Varney expressed amazement

Revelations that the Department of Justice has been secretly spying on Associated Press reporters has given rise to accusations of intimidation tactics and apparent attempts to stifle whistle-blowers and a free press. It should also ring alarm bells for anyone concerned about their own privacy and freedom. The U.S. garners the No. 32 spot when it comes to press freedom, according to Reporters Without Borders, and the latest snooping scandal raises the specter of the bad old days (circa 1972) when reporters resorted to ridiculous clandestine machinations to communicate with secret sources. What did President Obama do on the evening of 9/11/12 when our men were under attack in Benghazi? The invaluable Andrew McCarthy reminds us that Obama and Secretary Clinton had a 10:00 p.m. phone call of which many (including, I think, Chris Wallace) have lost sight. This morning when Wallace asked Obama aide Dan Pfeiffer what Obama was up to that evening, Pfeiffer declared the line of inquiry “offensive.” Translation: Obama and his minions would prefer to “move on” and are warning the likes of FNC off:(Snip for video)The Weekly Standard’s Daniel Halper has posted the rush transcript

It began in earnest last Friday. A flash mob of latte drinking, tofu eating media that has done its best to quell, rather than fan the flames of truth, turned on one of their own. Jay Carney lay bludgeoned at the base of the podium, a victim of friendly fire. Ironically, the attack was reminiscent of the one in Benghazi he has repeatedly denied the Administration he represents bears any responsibility for. “Changed twelve times?!” came the cries. And with good reason. We were misled; no, lied to.

Treasury Secretary Jack Lew on Friday urged congressional leaders to raise the debt limit and insisted that the White House is not going to negotiate over the increase because lawmakers have "no choice." "We will not negotiate over the debt limit," Lew wrote. "The creditworthiness of the United States is non-negotiable. The question of whether the country must pay obligations it has already incurred is not open to debate." Lew said that while President Obama is willing to discuss plans to reduce the nation´s deficit with Congress, those talks must be kept separate from any effort to raise the nation´s debt cap.
