Whenever I see an article about things Krauthammer says, I always wonder which way the wind will be blowing him that day. Not a bad guy but not completely trustworthy, either.

Paul Ryan gave his first political speech since the election at his home district´s Lincoln Day dinner. He said that despair is a mortal sin and he´s giving up despair for Lent. I am going to try to do the same.

He said in ´08 that he inended to completely "transform" the USA. And so he has commenced. And he is going whole hog to change the way the social/cultural fabric of the nation.

He means to change this nation from the roots, and that means to shake and dislodge the Judeo-Christian foundations.

This is a revolution. Most of the people are asleep, good little sheep that they are.

Cannot and have not watched the President for over two years. History will show he may have been the worst President in our history. Has no idea he is supposed to be leading the WHOLE
Country, which means everyone. he is a law unto himself.

He is going to try to damage the Republicans enough so they will lose control of the House in the next election. Then he will be free to fundamentally transform America.

The complete transformation of this country is an Obama pipedream because at least half the country is against him. Secondly he doesn´t have the money to buy off every voter and money will be come more scarce once Obamacare starts killing jobs.

Bernake is maxed out on money creating gimmicks. All he´s basically doing right now is adding zero´s to the feds accounts to mask the deficit.There´s no hard backup to Bernake´s printing,in fact he should just resign.

Obama has miraculously avoided a tipping point action so far.Even though he hates republicans,he wants their fingerprints on his schemes.

One thing that´s puzzling to me is republican ran states seem to be doing fine but it´s not helping the party image overall. How could states like Wisconsin,Michigan and Ohio elect republican governors then turn around and re-elect Obama unless it´s pure cheating.An Ohio poll workers bragged about voting for Obama twice and no eyebrows raised.

Somebody suggested in a column that Republicans ought to get up and walk out en masse if he uses the occasion to excoriate them. I agree. But they won´t. Instead, Obama will make an outrageous claim, some House guy will not be able to contain himself and yell, ´´That´s BS,´´ and Obama plays the victim.

Surprise me, Pubbies: if this turns out to be a campaign speech full of scorn and derision, stand up, turn your back on the creep, and leave.

Gee his air time has conflicted with Jeopardy. I will not be able to see the High School Competition final now. Obama wants war on our soil, preferably, black against white, unions against non-union workers. Taking away guns is central to his war room plans.

And nobody will give a damn! The Press certainly won´t. One has to wonder what it would actually take to shake a Brian Williams, or Diane Sawyer or Bob Scheiffer et al. from their slobbering agreement on any and all. We already know how Chris Matthews stands (still on the air despite ratings that pretty much encompass his family and a few zealots).

When entire sections of this country begin to sucede from the Union - people in Washington are actually going to be surprised.

I heard that Obamee has applied for the Pope´s job. Maybe he can also become the head of the UN. He can easily handle several jobs.

I already know the state of the union. I don´t need someone with a God complex to lie to me about it. Therefore, I will not be watching. Obama will be lauded by the media as a president with vision and boldness. I know what he is and what he is trying to do. He is attempting to do what the communists promised they would do, destroy us from within. My heartbreak is realizing that there is no one with the courage to oppose him. There is so much infighting in the Republican Party over who will wield power that they are ignoring the real threat to this country. They should be ashamed. Obama is winning because we have no army on the battlefield.

I´ll be busy shoveling snow or mowing my lawn.

The Republicans have him in a vice on sequestration. The only way out he knows is to successfully lay the blame on them. That will be the single theme of this SOTU. How he does it is open and unimportant.

I´ve never watched zippy give any sort of speech and I certainly don´t plan to start now. That said, I wonder if he will mention North Korea and their nukes and threats. Probably not as it doesn´t serve his own self interest.

If I were going to watch it I would go back to Rush´s suggestion for the SOTU from the Clinton Era - put a sign across the bottom of your TV screen saying, "This man lies".

It still annoys me that so many of the talking heads on "our" side rarely (Mark Levin being the exception) if ever, come right out and say that Obama is intent on changing/destroying this country for the worse; he´s not in over his head, ignorant about economics, etc. He´s destructive.

I would change my opinion of the GOP if they would stand up and walk out - or not show up in the first place. If only we conservatives had a party with a spine to represent us.

Our local ABC affiliate was playing a teaser just before they went to national coverage. They asked if you could guess which person in the Line of Succession would be absent at the SoTU show tonight. I didn´t care enough to guess.

I would be thrilled if even one Republican walked out. I would be even more thrilled if none of them went in the first place. "The state of the nation is good!" Will be the biggest lie in American history. North Korea just gave the world a wake up call that they have a nuke and they will share the technology with the highest bidder. At the same time Obama will vow to cut our nuclear arsenal and push his Marxist domestic agenda. At what point do the adults take over? ... Maybe after a mushroom cloud over DC.

Here´s another citizen who won´t be watching. But I will say that the President speaks in the House at the invitation of the Speaker. Rather than getting up and walking out en masse as some have sugested, what should be done is that the moment Barry´s TelePrompter reading turns partisan, the Republicans who control the House should immediately cut the power in the House, bringing the whole affair to a screeching halt, and then they should chuck Barry´s scrawney behind out onto the Capitol lawn. But alas, we all know Boehner lacks the gonads to take such a bold stand.

I did not listen to the speech. He is still lying every time he opens his mouth, so why bother? Obama is in an "I won" mode and he thinks he is the greatest thing ever, in this country. He thinks he is MR. PRESIDENT OBAMA now and no one can take that feeling away. He is going to rule like a king and no one will stop him. The Republicans act like scared mice and are running for the hills and saying nothing, nothing...absolutely nothing......

Obama gave old Krauthammer a head fake. Obama´s mission with his speech was not to come over as being extremely aggressive and partisan as Krauthammer supposed, but to come over as a reasonable politician who cared more about the average American then the wimpy Republicans. Just claiming that the minimum wage should be raised to $9.00 an hour will get Obama the votes of millions of low information people, even though it is not politically doable, and if enacted would cause employers not to hire more workers and to layoff a lot of people.
