| The White House has heard enough about Benghazi. White House press secretary Jay Carney on Monday blasted Senate Republicans for threatening to block Defense Secretary-nominee Chuck Hagel and John Brennan, nominated to head the CIA, in a quest for more information about what President Obama did on the night that terrorists killed four Americans in the U.S. Consulate in Libya. “We have answered these questions,” Mr. Carney said. “The president found out about the attack in Benghazi in a meeting with his secretary of defense and chairman of the Joint Chiefs from his national

The WH has done a masterful job of cover up and obfuscation. The crucial point is never discussed - September 10, al qaeda chief ayman al-zawahiri vowing to avenge the death of abu yahya al-libi, a high-ranking al qaeda official killed by an American drone attack three months earlier issues direct threats against Americans in Libya. al-zawahiri released a film on the 10th, a 2 hour film eulogizing his friend. This was the trigger for the protests in Egypt, mostly organized by his brother Mohammed, and the attack in Benghazi. Obama would have been briefed on the film either on the 10th or the 11th, before the attack. Obama knew the attack was coming. The al qaeda leader arrested in Egypt, accused of plotting and carrying out the attacks, has direct links to al-zawahiri. We´ve allowed the administration to distract us and follow red herrings. The right questions have never been asked. And soon it will all be forgotten.

Obama had better start coming up with something better than this. Dr Ben Carson, who is retiring from surgery in July, said he would run for political office if he felt God grabbing him by the collar. This won´t wash with someone like Carson and he won´t mind saying so. In no uncertain terms.

The main focus of the 5;PM meeting was the previously scheduled phone call with Netanyahu..not Libya, did Obama discuss any of it with the Israelis? If he had already been notified prior to the call that an attack was under way..Mossad has eyes and ears everywhere... was help sought? offered? declined?

Time for a Special Counsel to investigate.
I understand that if the order was given "to do all possible...." a special order document had to be prepared and signed by our peter pan president, in order for and military action to be undertaken.

I think the bottom line to this massive coverup is it exposes Obama´s muslim outreach as a failure. That´s why the video was the first excuse offered in the fiasco. Hillary knew the real reason, that´s why she didn´t go on the Sunday shows. Rice was the only Obama devotee to throw her career under the bus by taking her place.
From the very beginning they all knew the video was a lie and Obama and Hilary made a tape shown in Pakistan blaming the tape way after they knew it was a lie.
This is incompetence ,maleficence and dereliction of duty on both these people, with Panetta thrown is as a co-conspirator.
Why ordered the CIA to dig dirt on Patraeus to get him ousted from the agency? The socialite email has turned out to be another lie reported by the media.

Sometimes we expect a lie so we don´t pay attention to what is said. Here´s Carney´s response, "He immediately ordered those two leaders to take every action necessary to try to position forces in a way that could assist in Benghazi and also potentially take action, if necessary, elsewhere, because of all that was enfolding around the region.”
The action statement: "take every action necessary to try to position forces in a way that could assist in Benghazi and also potentially take action, if necessary, elsewhere..." There is no request for plans of action in response to an attack on our embassy nor implied release of forces for any action based on what had already taken place. And then Obama is gone.

I believe we have lost the media in this country. It is clearly covering for Obama.
A word to those in Republican leadership, how about buying some TV ads that will keep the questions before the American people. Don´t let the media stop you from getting answers. Think outside the box and use the money you have to expose Obama. Take this directly to the people. Use every avenue available, TV, social media, Twitter, etc. And for goodness sake, stay on it. If done correctly, this could do great harm to Obama.

#4 and #7. It´s not that the WH has done a "masterful job" or that the media provides a cover, the problem is the US Senate that let Hillary off the stick with her "at this point what difference does it make?" remark. As Sec of State she is responsible for the lack of security before the attack occured. She knew, or should have known, of the danger and of the requests for beefed up security. If she didn´t know it points to her failure of putting into place structure and procedures in her dept to ennsure that important messages such as this were received and should reach her desk.

The occupant of the White House his underlings Carney, Brennan et al still do not get the severity of 9/11. Four US citizens, one the Libyan Ambassador were fighting for their lives. They fought for over 5 hours to defend the Benghazi Consulate and compound.Obama was not doing his job . First to get his top officials together and work on a plan to send help to these unfortunate consulate defenders. No if´s or but´s. No trips to Las Vegas to insure he would be numero uno.He was on the phone for an hour talking to Israeli Netanyahu .Panetta the wimp publically stating that there was no effective force nearby. What a ´crock´ F16´s were on standby at Sicily 15 to 25 mins away from Benghazi. This bunch recently interrogated (It was a case of how many softballs the Senate and House could throw , even the GOP wimps threw a few). Let´s get our act together put our foot down court martial Obama after all he is the CIC and forget these two inadquate , incompetant Nominees Hagel and Brennan. For goodness sake let´s do something that is obvious and is RIGHT to protect the USA.

Of course they are done with Benghazi, but they have hedged and fumbled to protect what was actually going on. None of these people really know what happened there, but one pereson does and that is John Brennan. It was his little operation and of course the President doesn´t know much about it although he probably told Brennan to do what he needed to do to go forward on Obmam´s foreign policy. Brennan did and Obama knows little about it. Ask John Brennan what he was doing that day and what his role was in the Arab Spring. I still believe that Obama told the military to stand down.

Amid a steady rise of backlash, Edward Snowden, the 29-year-old former National Security Agency contractor who was the source of a spring of leaks about the agency´s surveillance methods, conducted a live chat on The Guardian´s website Monday morning. Judging from some of the pointed questions he´s been asked and the reaction to newly leaked revelations over the past few days, it´s clear that much of the sympathy and support Snowden had built up for his early exposures is eroding. Many Americans supported his decision to leak information about a pair of National Security Agency surveillance programs, which, he detailed, gathered information

Five months into his second term, allies and enemies are as confounded as ever about who President Obama really is. Is he the dyed-in-the-wool liberal that his biggest supporters and critics suggest? Or is he a pragmatic, even cynical, politician who cares more for his popularity than taking risks for his ideological goals or living up to his rhetoric? Even in the short period since his reelection, Obama has provided evidence to support conflicting interpretations. His efforts to pass immigration reform, the unsuccessful push for stricter gun controls and tax hikes on high earners buttress the case for Obama-as-ideologue.

Charlie Rose last night asked President Obama his new Syria policy. The president first objected to it being called a new policy. "I´m not sure you can characterize this as a new policy. This is consistent with the policy that I´ve had throughout," he said. Obama then explained the goal is regional stability, and especially in Syria. "Really, what we´re trying to do is take sides against extremists of all sorts and in favor of people who are in favor of moderation, tolerance, representative government, and over the long-term, stability and prosperity for the people of Syria," said Obama.

Marco Rubio. Paul Ryan. The IRS. Illegal immigration. And fraud to the tune of billions.. Now there’s a combustible mix. Let’s start with the IRS, illegal immigration and fraud. We’ll come back in a minute to Senator Rubio and Congressman Ryan. For those who came in late, a year before the IRS scandals burst onto the scene in early May of 2013, an alert investigative reporter for WTHR-Indianapolis (Channel 13), Bob Segall by name, produced a stunning piece of journalism. Segall’s video report is found here and we will quote from his story for the basics.
