| RUSH: Christopher Dorner, the fired LA cop is still on the loose. If you hear that Dorner is anywhere near where you live, based on what I´ve heard from the left in recent weeks, the safest thing you can do is turn in your guns. That´s what will make you safe. I´ve heard every Democrat, I´ve heard the media say this, that the way we´re gonna make this country safe is for everybody to get rid of their guns. So if this Dorner guy, who´s already killed three cops, shows up in your neighborhood, somehow

Until we know everything, we shouldn´t be turning this into a political issue. It should be a criminal issue only. I fear that this could bite us back if it turns out differently than what we have been led to believe.

On her radio show yesterday, Fox News provocateur Andrea Tantaros mouthed an impassioned defense of journalists against the intrusions of the Obama administration: Let me tell you how people and journalists are being treated these days. The Boy Scouts of America (BSA) have reversed their longstanding membership guidelines to allow homosexuals to join the organization. Abuse Of Power: Any scandal investigation that expects a "Eureka!" moment, a White House e-mail, or Oval Office smoking gun will be misguided. In fact, the dots are already connected directly to the president. Barack Obama is not foolish enough to have a tape recording system hidden in his desk. And his administration staff are not careless enough to send one another incriminating e-mails. If the president was behind the IRS unlawfully harassing conservative groups seeking tax-exempt status, we can be sure the communications were all sotto voce and in persona, like any good Chicago political operator.
