| For a Los Angeles Police Department disciplinary panel, the evidence was persuasive: Rookie officer Christopher Jordan Dorner lied when he accused his training officer of kicking a mentally ill man during an arrest. But when a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge examined the case a year later in 2010 as part of an appeal filed by Dorner, he seemed less convinced. Judge David P. Yaffe said he was "uncertain whether the training officer kicked the suspect or not" but nevertheless upheld

It´s pretty obvious that the LAPD circled the wagons on this one. I have little doubt Dorner´s original complaint was true...now it´s up to time to see how much damage he will do before they gun him down.

This is part of the lib media´s efforts to turn Dorner into some kind of a folk hero engaged in a race war. Lots of people get fired unfairly. 99.99% of them don´t go on murderous rampages.

I Don´t Care! Life is not fair. Dorner is a total nut case. I can not imagine a situation in life that goes so administratively wrong s to make me murder an innocent pair of kids and shoot to death a police officer I did not even know and grievously wound another. Firing Dorner was an outstanding job on the part of the LA Cop Shop. They fully recognized what a danger he was to the public and had no business wearing a badge of authority and wearing a fire arm walking around in public. He is not a folk hero. He is deadly, murdering, racist savage!

If you are defending the LAPD for covering up corruption here, you need to know that the LAPD has been corrupt for a long, long time. I guess the fact that the kicking victim´s father supported Dorner doesn´t matter huh?

We got some sick people posting here. Does it matter that three eye witnesses support that there was no kicking. That the arrestee´s father was not at the scene. That Dorner was given an unsatisfactory rating in three categories the day before he reported this alleged kicking and a full two weeks after it allegedly happened? That Dorner had made similar charges against other officers prior to this? Credibility? Any credibility went out the window when he shot and killed people not directly involved in this matter. He is a sick truck like some of the people posting here.

If it is wrong for a police officer to kick a citizen, and if it is wrong for a whistle blower to be fired, it would seem that the premeditated, cold-blooded murder of people who had nothing whatever to do with any of that would be really bad.
The moral calculus of defenders and supporters of Dorner is grotesque and deeply disturbing. There are more people who think like him than I realized. To say that such people have misplaced priorities is an understatement.

Gen. John Allen has been appointed special U.S. envoy on security issues in negotiations between Israel and the Palestinian Authority. He will not mediate between the parties; his work will almost exclusively involve contacts with Israel. Allen will deal with the U.S. position on Israeli security needs and the security arrangements that would accompany the establishment of a future Palestinian state. Senior U.S. and Israeli officials note that while U.S. Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel made the appointment it was coordinated with U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry, who is leading the effort to restart Israeli-Palestinian negotiations.

Conservative radio host Mark Levin is very skeptical of the idea that President Obama had absolutely no idea about the IRS tea party targeting before the story broke in the news mere weeks ago. Levin declared adamantly that it is a “flat-out, bald-faced lie” that Obama didn’t know beforehand, citing prior reports by a few conservative news outlets picking up on the news well before the 2012 presidential election. Levin said, “I don’t believe for two seconds that Obama wasn’t aware of this.”

President Obama on Thursday nominated Victoria Nuland, a State Department official involved in the editing of the administration´s talking points on Benghazi, to be the next assistant secretary of state for European and Eurasian affairs. Nuland, a career foreign service officer who was until recently State´s top spokesperson, had long been expected to be nominated the post to replace Philip Gordon, who Obama picked to serve as Middle East coordinator for the National Security Council. Nuland´s nomination -- which requires Senate confirmation -- could come under scrutiny from Republicans who see her as playing a central role in shaping

Anthony Weiner’s New York mayoral candidacy was only made more improbable today after he revealed that he visited a Houston psychiatric facility following his resignation from Congress in 2011. Haunted by scandal surrounding his sexually explicit online communications with women, the Democratic former congressman sought treatment for his compulsive behavior from mental health professionals at the Gabbard Center. According to its website, the facility provides “3-day outpatient psychiatric evaluation,” particularly to “professionals who are in personal or professional crises.” While Weiner did not disclose

On “Fox News Sunday” last weekend, White House aide Dan Pfeiffer was asked about President Barack Obama’s whereabouts the night of the Sept. 11 attack in Benghazi. This was the night when we lost our first ambassador in 30 years, and when three other Americans were killed in an attack that lasted all night long at multiple locations within the eastern Libyan city. Since the president is commander in chief, one would think where he was and what he did during such an event would be of obvious public concern.

MARK LEVIN: So why didn´t Chairman Issa hold an investigative hearing a year ago? Why didn´t Chairman Camp, all Republicans, hold an investigative hearing a year ago, and all the other tripping over themselves right now? I´ll tell you why. Because the establishment Republicans, the RINO Republicans, despise the Tea Party. They despise the conservative movement. We exist to be managed, to be shuttled to the polling place, to vote for their candidates. The Karl Roves of the world, and all the rest of them. They fight us in the primaries, they fight us at the grassroots.
