The Navy SEAL who claims he shot and killed Osama bin Laden in the famous raid which captured America´s most wanted terrorist has spoken for the first time about the moment he shot the al Qaeda three times in the head and watched him take his last breath. The Team Six member - who is referred to as ´The Shooter´ for the safety of his family - described in unforgettable detail the days leading up to the kill, the moment he shot bin Laden three times and the fallout from the raid.

Comments:
Is this really wise? How can he trust those at Esquire not to give out his real name? As if the murderers in the Middle East need another excuse for rioting, murder and mayhem.

Just look at the size of Zippy´s head compared to the others. The shirt he is wearing is a woman´s shirt (buttons on the other side). IMO this picture is doctored and it is really Valerie Jarrett. Esp after the Benghazi revelation seems entirely plausible.

Boloney!

Shots like that blow brains out. They eject out splatter all over the walls. They don´t spill out.

There´s a lot that´s odd about that Esquire article. I think there was some fabulist action going on to enhance the story. There´s just something off about it.

I thought this SEAL team was killed in a copter accident several months after the killing? Did some of them survive?

Other stories say it wasn´t really Bin Laden. It may have been one of his body doubles. The real BL may have been already dead. They sure disposed of the body quickly enough -- claiming to have processed the DNA super quickly, in a few hours. Suspicious.

The SEAL complains that he and his family have no veteran´s medical coverage nor a pension for himself. If he got out before his 20-year retirement, why is he surprised? Unless he received a medical discharge, he would not qualify for those benefits. He could probably get a great job as a private security contractor with his military resume.

I don´t believe ANY of this crap! This article has no value.

Just shut up Seals. I´m beginning to think that too many Seals have a screw loose.

The Esquire article is by Phil Bronstein, ex-husband of Sharon Stone. He´s the guy who took his shoes off to enter the cage of a Komodo Dragon and suffered a severe bite on the foot as a result. Anybody that gullible would swallow anything. I think the SEAL fed him a bunch of garbage.

#9. I have met many well-educated , decorated veterans who tell me BECAUSE they are retired military they do not get offered the job. Business owners get political too. After I heard the discussion about Navy SEALS on The Five just now, I have a lot of sympathy for this guy.

Why would a Seal give an interview to Esquire ?

They will not stop until photos of the Seals are all over the Internet and their families are in danger when the Muzlims retaliate.

President Obama on Tuesday downplayed Afghan President Hamid Karzai’s decision to suspend talks on a long-term security deal with the U.S. in protest of the launch of formal peace talks with the Taliban. Karzai also pulled out of peace talks with the Taliban the Obama administration agreed to hold in Qatar, which are to begin Thursday. Obama said his administration had always anticipated "difficult negotiations." "We had extensive conversations with President Karzai both before and after the Taliban opened the office in Doha," Obama told reporters at a joint press conference in Berlin with German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

It probably wouldn´t have shocked political observers if Sen. Marco Rubio´s job approval ratings had taken a hit since becoming the Republican face of comprehensive immigration reform earlier this year. But the Florida Republican´s numbers in his home state are actually close to their best ever, according to a new Quinnipiac University poll released on Wednesday, though the senator did get low marks from voters for his handling of both immigration and gun control. Rubio had a job approval rating of 51 percent to 35 percent, the survey of registered voters found.

PANORAMA CITY — School board members have approved a plan to rename a San Fernando Valley elementary school after First Lady Michelle Obama. Los Angeles Unified board members voted unanimously Tuesday to name Valley Region Elementary School No. 13 after Mrs. Obama. The campus, which was opened last August to relieve overcrowding at nearby elementary schools, focuses on healthy eating for students, a cause championed by Mrs. Obama’s “Let’s Move” campaign. The First Lady was in Germany on Wednesday as President Obama meets with Prime Minister Angela Merkel and other leaders.

Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz announced an amendment to the Senate immigration bill to block a pathway to citizenship for illegal immigrants on Wednesday. Cruz previously attempted to insert the amendment to prevent a pathway in the Judiciary Committee mark-up of the legislation. The Texas Republican has been a vocal opponent of allowing illegal immigrants a path to citizenship, explaining that is is unfair to those who waited in line to come to the country legally.“A path to citizenship is the most divisive aspect of this bill,” Cruz told “The Fine Point” earlier this month.

The federal government spends six times more on disaster recovery than helping communities become resilient to extreme weather that’s predicted to become more intense and frequent in a warming world, a new study shows. The analysis by the Center for American Progress (CAP), a prominent liberal think tank, labels the approach “pound foolish” and calls for a dedicated fund for “community resilience” fed by higher levies on fossil fuel production. “We must help communities enhance their ability to withstand the high winds, flood waters, scorching heat, searing wild fires, and parched earth from extreme weather,”

President Obama´s top climate adviser on Wednesday vowed that “meaningful” action on global warming was coming soon. Heather Zichal, the deputy assistant to the president on energy and climate change, said she didn’t want to get “in front of the big man” and unveil specific plans during an event in Washington, D.C. hosted by The New Republic. She spoke broadly, however, of bolstering energy efficiency, expanding clean energy on public lands and using various “tools” -- including the Clean Air Act -- to address climate. Zichal’s comments come as speculation grows that the administration is preparing sweeping

A group of whistleblowers, including a number of aviation experts, have come forward in a new documentary to claim that the official explanation for the crash of TWA Flight 800 was wrong and a gas tank explosion did not bring down the flight off the coast of Long Island 17 years ago. However, the six whistleblowers, all part of the original investigation team, stopped short of saying the plane was shot down. Flight 800, a Boeing 747, had just taken off from JFK airport with 230 people aboard on July 17, 1996 enroute to Paris when it exploded

An attorney whose firm represents two Benghazi whistleblowers said Gen. Martin Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, lied to the Senate when he said there was never a “stand down” order during the Benghazi attack on Sept. 11, 2012. “What was fascinating is that he explained his lie to them,” Joe DiGenova, an attorney representing one of the whistleblowers, told CNSNews.com. “He actually said they were sent to Tripoli. They were needed in Benghazi,” said DiGenova, a former U.S. attorney, now with the Washington firm of DiGenova & Toensing.

Amid a steady rise of backlash, Edward Snowden, the 29-year-old former National Security Agency contractor who was the source of a spring of leaks about the agency´s surveillance methods, conducted a live chat on The Guardian´s website Monday morning. Judging from some of the pointed questions he´s been asked and the reaction to newly leaked revelations over the past few days, it´s clear that much of the sympathy and support Snowden had built up for his early exposures is eroding. Many Americans supported his decision to leak information about a pair of National Security Agency surveillance programs, which, he detailed, gathered information

As NewsBusters reported last week, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin called out vulgarian comedian Bill Maher for referring to her Down Syndrome son Trig as "retarded." Charlie Rose last night asked President Obama his new Syria policy. The president first objected to it being called a new policy. "I´m not sure you can characterize this as a new policy. This is consistent with the policy that I´ve had throughout," he said. Obama then explained the goal is regional stability, and especially in Syria. "Really, what we´re trying to do is take sides against extremists of all sorts and in favor of people who are in favor of moderation, tolerance, representative government, and over the long-term, stability and prosperity for the people of Syria," said Obama.

Marco Rubio. Paul Ryan. The IRS. Illegal immigration. And fraud to the tune of billions.. Now there’s a combustible mix. Let’s start with the IRS, illegal immigration and fraud. We’ll come back in a minute to Senator Rubio and Congressman Ryan. For those who came in late, a year before the IRS scandals burst onto the scene in early May of 2013, an alert investigative reporter for WTHR-Indianapolis (Channel 13), Bob Segall by name, produced a stunning piece of journalism. Segall’s video report is found here and we will quote from his story for the basics.

The Obamas never miss an opportunity to mingle with the stars and during a two-day trip in Dublin, who better to have lunch with than iconic Irish rocker and philanthropist Bono? First Lady Michelle along with daughters Malia, 14, and Sasha, 11, started Tuesday with an hour-long visit to picturesque Glendalough in the Wicklow Mountains--but the two girls looked like they would have rather slept in at their luxury hotel. Glendalough is famous for its Medieval monastic settlement founded in the 6th century by St Kevin, the hermit priest. After appearing less than thrilled on Monday while viewing Medieval manuscripts
