| At this stage in our nation’s decline, does anyone still care what Barack Obama thinks or says about “the state of the union”? I think not. More than 52 million people watched Obama’s first State of the Union in 2009. It has been all downhill ever since –– with 48 million viewers in 2010, 43 million in 2011, and just 38 million last year. That’s a decline of 28 percent in four years. The president will almost certainly lay an even bigger egg this year than he did last year. If the New York Times is correct in the preview

Obama´s popularity is way overblown. The TV ratings for the inauguration were way down.People are tired of his smoke and mirrors promise and he´s nothing but a front man for the ruling class liberal oligarchy anyway. Republicans aren´t gaining any ground because they´re afraid of the media. They were doing good for a while there, especially in the 2010 midterms but they have lost that momentum.

This should be a Must Read. It´s time to bring the Obama balloon down to earth.
FTA: According to the exit polls, 77 percent of voters said that the economy was in bad shape, and most of those disaffected with the nation’s economic performance said that they believed that Romney would do a better job than Obama in managing the economy (51-47 percent). Despite that, the overwhelming majority of voters (81-19 percent) said that they believed that Obama “cares more about people like me than Romney"[my bold].
This begs the question: did Obama steal the election or does the U.S. now have the most stupid voters that money can buy?
During the next four years it needs to be pointed out several times a week that Obama doesn´t give a rat´s arse. If he did, the supply of gasoline would become plentiful, which would lower costs for food and other products as well as for travel. Power plants that provide most of our energy would not be closing because Obama is driving them out of business. The alternative energy is not perfected or readily available; thus the cost to the consumer will increase.
All of Obama´s policies will mean more jobs lost and costs will rise. In other words, Obama is putting the middle class in chains. There is a good possibility that the middle class will shrink severely and more people will slip into lower classes due to his policies by 2016.

With a gutless congress and a corrupt supreme court, he doesn´t have to "walk on water". He has assumed powers that were not meant for a potus but rather for a dictator and the people, now, are his minions.

Many voted for a second Obama term because they were unwilling to un-elect a black. White racial guilt beats self-interest or the good of the country.

In times past, during the growth of this great nation, --out west where the men were men and the women were glad of it, --had Obama appeared on the horizon and rumbled into town in a gaudily painted covered wagon wearing a long tailed coat and garish top hat, --and started trying to sell his brand of prosperity producing snake oil, --this fake *fakir would have left town over yonder horizon, --his wagon reduced to a pile of smoldering coals and wearing black tar and white chicken feathers.
Ah, for those days of simple and speedy justice dispensed by honest people, --instead of these days with the likes of Chrissy Matthews peeing down his leg, --Jeremiah Wright screaming for God´s damnation on our beloved country, --and the Chicago thugs in a trance over Cloward, Piven, and Saul Alinsky.
*fa·kir - noun Definition of Fakir 1 a Muslim mendicant : dervish 2 impostor; especially : swindler
Oh, BTW, along with many here, I never thought he did!

No intention of watching "hate speech" from our treasonous leader. I am old enough to remember "test patterns" on the old B&W TV´s and would watch that instead of BO.

Pointless article. We´ve been reading similar pieces since 2010, and what have they really meant? Absolutely nothing. Obama´s audacity and demagoguery have continued to work for him.
A nation of idiots who actually believe this ice-blooded Marxist "cares about" them will get what it deserves. Unfortunately, those of us who know better have been carried along to the brink of destruction, and our freedoms and prosperity are only an executive order or two away from being extinguished, State of the Union TV ratings notwithstanding.

Just another event designed not to inform but massage a malignant, narcissistic personality.

The takers are too happy to care, the middle class are too busy trying to hang on and don´t have time to get involved, Obummer´s rich friends are getting richer and an anchor at CNN proved just how stupid the MSM are when she asked Bill Nye the Idiot if Global Warming is responsible for the comet that is on a close encounter to earth this Friday!

THE BATHROOM IS LARGE, immaculate and low-lit, finished in rich wood, floor-to-ceiling mirrors and brushed metal. Wearing the thick bathrobe provided by an attendant, I walk from the shower to the wash basin. The heat radiates from the floor through my slippers. I have my own shaving gear with me but still browse through boxes and trays for accoutrements I might prefer. This is one of the nicest lavatories I´ve ever been in. It also happens to be 35,000 feet in the air. I´m aboard one of Emirates Airline´s double-decker Airbus A380s. According to the flight-progress map

It happens now and then. You hear a story so sad, so beautiful, so filled with loss and pain and grief and love, that it makes you cry. Really cry. Two years ago, I was making a grocery run for my family on Memorial Day when a story came on the local NPR station in Oxford, Miss. It was about a father whose son had been killed in action in northwest Afghanistan. The father was Paul Monti; his son was Sergeant Jared Monti. Jared died in Afghanistan trying to save the life of one of his men.

The recent attack on a British soldier by assassins wielding meat cleavers while bystanders looked on raises the question: “Why didn’t anyone try to help the victim?” Because British citizens are prohibited from carrying objects that could be used as “offensive weapons.” While it is well known that Brits cannot carry guns, a lesser known law prohibits any subject of the Queen from carrying a knife of consequence, pepper spray or a stun gun.According to the United Kingdom government website, the online storehouse of British government regulations, it is illegal to:

DALLAS—It hasn´t been the best of years for Big Tex, the 52-foot-tall animatronic cowboy who has greeted visitors to the State Fair of Texas for decades. His mechanical hand, which waved from side to side as he bellowed "Hoooowdy folks," stopped working before the fair opened last September. His 60th birthday celebration, which was to include one of the country´s biggest marching bands, was rained out. Then catastrophe struck three days before the fair ended last October. After a suspected electrical short inside his size 70 cowboy boots, Mr. Tex went up in a burst of flames that devoured

What would help a lot right now, as the chilling reality of savagery engulfs us, would be a cultural green light to begin calling evil what it is, to begin calling it by its name, to stop dancing around demographics because of the fear someone, somewhere will take offense. There is always someone, somewhere looking for a reason to be offended. Jesse Jackson has fashioned a lucrative career out of being perpetually peeved. It works if you know how to play the game. And one of the reasons it works is that too many people who ought to know better allow themselves

The White House on Friday didn’t respond to a report that Attorney General Eric Holder authorized the seizure a Fox News reporter’s phone and email records — and with no daily press briefing scheduled Friday that could mean silence from the administration through the Memorial Day weekend. NBC News reported Thursday that Holder approved the search of Fox News reporter James Rosen’s private emails and phone records in a probe of leaked government information. That revelation came just as the president ordered Holder to review Justice Department guidelines for investigating reporters. White House officials have not yet responded

President Obama’s speech at the National Defense University calling for an end to the war on terror forces the question of who gets to declare peace. The Left wing in our political debate has been agitating for some time to repeal the authorization to use military force that the Congress passed after 9/11. The President boarded the bandwagon yesterday. He vowed he would sign no laws designed to expand the mandate and declared outright that he looks forward “to engaging Congress and the American people in efforts to refine, and ultimately repeal” the congressional mandate to use force.

Washington rumor has it that Obama wants to be U.N. Secretary General. There are several reasons that make that likely, and if it´s true, it throws new light on a lot of Obama´s oddities -- including his Royalty Bows, his Apology Tours, his Muslim Sellout, and the Benghazi Cover-Up. But first -- why would Obama be planning to become the chief of the U.N. before he has even finished his second term?

On Wednesday, Drummer Lee Rigby of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, a man who had served Queen and country honorably in the hell of Helmand Province in Afghanistan, emerged from his barracks on Wellington Street, named after the Duke thereof, in southeast London. Minutes later, he was hacked to death in broad daylight and in full view of onlookers by two men with machetes who crowed "Allahu Akbar!" as they dumped his carcass in the middle of the street like so much roadkill. As grotesque as this act of savagery was, the aftermath was even more unsettling

MARK LEVIN: So why didn´t Chairman Issa hold an investigative hearing a year ago? Why didn´t Chairman Camp, all Republicans, hold an investigative hearing a year ago, and all the other tripping over themselves right now? I´ll tell you why. Because the establishment Republicans, the RINO Republicans, despise the Tea Party. They despise the conservative movement. We exist to be managed, to be shuttled to the polling place, to vote for their candidates. The Karl Roves of the world, and all the rest of them. They fight us in the primaries, they fight us at the grassroots.

WASHINGTON —In a dramatic departure from existing White House procedures, President Obama requested today that his staff start cc’ing him on stuff. “Look, I know a lot of you think I’m really busy and you don’t want to bother me,” the President reportedly told his staff in an Oval Office meeting. “But cc me anyway. It’s good for me to keep up on what’s going on around here.” “It’s not good when I turn on the news and they’re talking about something at the White House and I’m like, whoa, when did that happen?”

The Boy Scouts of America (BSA) have reversed their longstanding membership guidelines to allow homosexuals to join the organization. In an email to CNSNews.com, the BSA public affairs office said the vote on the resolution to “remove the restriction denying membership to youth on the basis of sexual orientation alone” was passed with 61.44 percent in favor and 38.56 percent opposed. “For 103 years, the Boy Scouts of America has been a part of the fabric of this nation, with a focus on working together to deliver the nation’s foremost youth program of character development and values-based leadership training,”

Abuse Of Power: Any scandal investigation that expects a "Eureka!" moment, a White House e-mail, or Oval Office smoking gun will be misguided. In fact, the dots are already connected directly to the president. Barack Obama is not foolish enough to have a tape recording system hidden in his desk. And his administration staff are not careless enough to send one another incriminating e-mails. If the president was behind the IRS unlawfully harassing conservative groups seeking tax-exempt status, we can be sure the communications were all sotto voce and in persona, like any good Chicago political operator.

A Washington state Democrat is accusing Republicans of “throwing American infrastructure … under the bus” after a bridge collapse there this week. The portion of Interstate 5 in Washington that runs over the Skagit River collapsed on Thursday after a truck hit an overhead support structure, but Rep. Jim McDermott (D-Wash.) cited the incident in an interview as proof Republicans were blocking infrastructure investment to hurt President Obama politically. “Well, they have clearly spent the whole last five years trying to tear the president down, but they have done it by throwing the American infrastructure and
