Keith Ellison, D-Minn., dismissed recent gestures by prominent members of the GOP suggesting a softening of Republican positions as simply “lipstick on a pig.” “I think all of this stuff is just surface stuff. The democrats trot out folks like Ellison, Jackson-Lee, Waters and a few other minorities when they need to act like they care.
However, the Democrat party is dominated and controlled by white liberals, and increasingly becoming extreme with progressivism.

Ellison has a right to be a muslim if he wants. What he doesn´t have a right to is being a serial liar about what republican policies would do. He completely overblew the impact of the upcoming sequester budget cuts,which hold most domestic programs harmless.
When you live in a country where a "saved´ job is held equal to a "created job",it opens the door to a whole slew of other lies and misrepresentations.
I wonder what Ellison would say if someone proposed a 15% tax increase on his salary. There´d be blood on the streets but Mickelson´s(sp) 63% tax rate isn´t high enough for him.
A person having more money than they "need" isn´t fair.
Eric Schmidt is about to cash in big time by selling his shares in Google.I wonder how much he´ll pay in capital gains. My guess would be not very much since he´s one of Obama´s butt buddies and offshore accounts abuser.

We learned of a startling assault on freedom of the press by the Department of Justice, following the revelation last week of the unprecedented information-gathering foray by that department against The Associated Press. One of two men allegedly being questioned in connection with the Boston Marathon bombings was shot and killed by an FBI agent in Florida on Tuesday, (Snip)A friend of Ibragim Todashev said he and Todashev were being investigated as part of the Boston bombings. He said Todashev, 27, knew bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev because both were MMA fighters. The man claims he and Todashev were interviewed by the FBI for nearly three hours on Tuesday. The friend said he left the interview, and when he came back to the apartment he found that there had been a shooting.
