It’s A ‘False Argument To Say

On Fox News Sunday, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) told Fox News Channel anchor Chris Wallace that the ongoing debate about a balanced approach to deficit reduction should not place undue emphasis on spending cuts. She said that it is “almost a false argument” to say that Washington has a “spending problem.” Pelosi noted that there have been “plenty of spending cuts,” and budgetary priorities like education and food safety must be protected. (Snip) “Sequestration is a bad idea all around,” Pelosi began. “The fact is we’ve had plenty of spending cuts,

Comments:
Hey Chris, why didn´t you audaciously and obnoxiously say to the moron Pelosi "That´s ridiculous and you know it" like you did with Wayne LaPierre??? That interview inept and disgraceful.

I guess the we have a taxing problem! Obviously, the only solution is to confiscate all revenue from everyone and let Our Dear Reader distribute it as he sees fit...

If we don´t have a spending problem, then why do we need more taxes?

Lousy lousy lousy interview, Chris.
Nothing balanced about it.

Like Pelosi, Chris Wallace is unwatchable. I gave up on him quite a while ago. I see from the comments nothing has changed. He is just like his dad, a smarmy ****k. Wallace is given way more credits as a journalist than he is worth.

Sigh. If ever an argument existed for a new shade of lipstick called ´Shiny Superglue´ - Nancy is it.

If ´truth in government advertising´ existed, she´d have the word ´HARPY´ tattoo´ed on her forehead.

What an *utter* bimbo.

I watched the interview, and chris tried his best to get answers, but Nancy just spouts crap, like a broken sewer pipe under pressure.
She makes the false argument that economic growth is caused by expenditures for education. That is just plain wrong.
As long as the government is spending money to allow chillun to go to college and major in any program with the word studies in it, there is no connection between those programs and economic growth.

This hag is clearly missing that part of her brain that comprehends and applies logic, reason and facts.

Remember, this is the same woman who claims to be a ´´practicing and good Catholic´´, but then says the Pope is wrong because abortion is a Christian and loving act that God fully supports.

We could just pity her if she was in a nursing home where she belongs and where she couldn´t hurt anyone. But instead she sits in Congress where she has the power to make laws for this nation...

#13, those ´conservatives´ are susceptible to the constant drum beat by the libtard propagandists that Fox is conservative. The only reason they claim that is the libtard propagandists are so far to the left they have to use the Hubble telescope to see the glow from the ´center´, and Fox news is between them and the center, so they ´in their minds´ rightfully claim Fox is right-wing.
Of course, the whole right-left meme is a false one promulgated by the libtards. The political spectrum is a range from anarchy to dictator - and the Republic was mostly two-thirds the way towards the anarchy end when it was formed. Both current parties support government that is three-quarters the other direction. That why they seem very similar.

The next (and first) nominee of either party who states that directing and spending on education at the federal level is bad policy will get my vote. When policy and spending gets ´captured´ by unions and bureaucrats, achievement levels will plummet as political correctness replaces facts and reasoning. We see this now at a nascent level...it will worsen with time.

They need to cut $85Bn x 12 to avoid deficit spending just this year. Yet, obama and Pelosi say they are going to reduce the deficit. This administration and state-run media are embarrassment to this country.

The Fed prints all the money the government wants on demand. However, they don´t print the interest. There is no way to pay off the deficit, and the dollar will surely collapse.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Several days ago some fringe “conservatives” mentioned the idea of impeaching President Obama. For reasons as obvious as they are numerous, that is a terrible idea. Saying that is like throwing chum out to the worst conservatives, the ones who act like liberals, the ones who are all angry instinct, who rather than strategize their way to victory would rather sweep the pieces off the table and throw a tantrum on the floor. Serious and effective conservatism demands putting facts and reason above emotion and hysteria. Some comments concerning potential impeachment are so

Sen. Harry Reid said Wednesday that he will push to confirm more judges to the federal appeals court in Washington, D.C., after that court ruled earlier this year that President Obama’s broad use of recess appointment powers was unconstitutional. “You have a majority in that court that is wrecking havoc in the country. For the first time in 230 years, they ruled the president can’t make a recess appointment, so yes there is a crisis,” Mr. Reid, the chamber’s leader, said on the Senate floor as he begged for quick action on more of the president’s judicial nominees.

Mayor Bloomberg went on a spitting-mad rant against a city cab-fleet boss who won a court victory over Hizzoner’s planned “Taxi of Tomorrow” — vowing to “destroy your f--king industry” when he leaves office, The Post has learned. A fuming Bloomberg made the threat against Taxi Club Management CEO Gene Freidman at Madison Square Garden’s private 1879 Club during last Thursday’s Knick playoff game, a witness said yesterday. “It was like Gene had kidnapped his child. He used the f-word twice,” the witness said. Freidman confirmed the blow-up to The Post, and said Bloomberg’s tirade included the warning that,

According to Republican Rep. Jim Jordan and White House visitor logs, former IRS Commissioner Douglas Shulman visited the White House 118 times in 2010 and 2011. This is the same time period when Tea Party groups were inappropriately targeted and intimidated by the IRS. Testifying in front of lawmakers on Capitol Hill Wednesday, Shulman admitted that many of the meetings with the White House were to discuss how to implement ObamaCare. "The IRS has a major roll in the money flow," Shulman said. Shulman denied ever discussing 501c(4) groups with White House officials

The wheels came off the Obama administration yesterday. We learned of a startling assault on freedom of the press by the Department of Justice, following the revelation last week of the unprecedented information-gathering foray by that department against The Associated Press. Then, a few minutes later, the Justice Department’s inspector general released a report declaring that the US attorney in Arizona used the leak of a confidential memo to try to discredit a whistleblower in the notorious “gun-walking” scandal known as Fast and Furious (which got two federal agents killed). The leak was called “egregious.”

Former Democratic National committee chairman Howard Dean considers the controversy over Benghazi a “joke” and “silly.” “Benghazi is a laughable joke,” Dean proclaimed twice in a discussion with Republican National Committee communications chairman Sean Spicer last week. “With all due respect, governor, when four Americans die serving this country, that’s not a joke, sir,” Spicer responded. “Oh, stop it,” said Dean. The former Democratic presidential candidate also said that there were “no serious questions being asked about Benghazi” and brushed it off as an effort by Republicans to score political points.
