Well, this is pretty funny for two reasons:

1) He´s not stupid.
2) He´s not a "scientist" either (though he´s often played one on TV, nyuk nyuk nyuk).
Nye holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering, and then went to work for Boeing where, oddly enough, he ´starred´ in training films. After that, his career has been as an entertainer, so any attempt at trying to explain globaloney would have been just that - baloney.

It´s now officially impossible to do a global warming parody.

Actually I think Hurricane Sandy was caused by CNN.

We just need to face it. Every problem in the world, no matter what it is, is caused by global warming, climate change or whatever the libs are calling it today.

Not so fast. What do we have, 5 different American [read: highly-polluting!] cars on Mars? Way out there, out next to the asteroid belt? A coincidence? I think not.

It´s not enough that Conservatives are warming the Earth. Now we see they´re warming two planets.

When the "faces" of our news media say things like this, the critics should immediately ask what university they attended. The universities have to take some blame for their unbelievably ignorant liberal arts graduates. The dumbing down of America starts in the schools, and it´s a racket perpetrated by the universities.

She may or may not believe this. Her purpose was probably to get in a plug for man-made climate change, and she knows some of her viewers are moronic enough to buy it.
