Dan Rather: Bush AWOL
Documents ´Not Proven´ False

Breitbart´s Big Journalism, by Warner Todd Huston

Original Article

Posted By:KarenJ1, 2/9/2013 9:44:09 PM

Dan Rather is back to defending the story that he claims got him fired from network television, asserting that the documents he presented in 2004 as proof that George W. Bush went AWOL from the Texas Air National Guard have never been proven to be forgeries. On February 7th, Dan Rather participated in an AMA (Ask Me Anything) on Reddit where he took questions from users. One question focused on the story that essentially led to the end of the anchor´s career on network TV: the Bush National Guard story, also known as RatherGate.

Comments:
Un.be.lievable. Poor, pitiful Dan just doesn´t know when to go away and quit embarrassing himself. Enough already!

Assuming he was AWOL Dan, are you implying that Bush being absent from the National Guard was as egregious as Obama knowing and leaving four Americans to be murdered by terrorists, Americans you are totally responsible for them being there at that place and that time?

Within 36 hrs. the AWOL document was proven false by the guy at Little Green Footballs, who showed that the 1973 TANG memo had the exact fonts and justification of a Microsoft Word document. Google "Thobbing Memo" to see the bogus TANG document and a copy typed with Microsoft Word.

Mr. Rather, stop your BLATHER! Dan Blather is saying that Bush is "guilty until proven innocent." Blather is such a dufus, and he was considered to be the cream of the crop.

Hey that´s a neat trick, throw something against the wall and if it can´t be proven false...well than it must be true. No Dan, the burden of proof was on you...and it was never proven to be true, that´s why you were fired, dummy!

It was pretty much proved - and demonstrated on the Little Green Footballs site - that the memos were written using MS Word - 20 or so years after the fact. Said site´s owner - a Mr. Johnson - later succumbed to Hillary Clinton´s sex pheromones. I question the timing.

Since this was a column on the military.

In the service we had a saying for dumb people.

It was; "If you had a brain, you´d take it out and play with it".

In Rather´s case I don´t think he could find it.

One: They don´t have to be proven false. YOU have to prove they´re real.

Two: However, the evidence is overwhelming that they are false.

I just typed the text into a default installation of MS Word and printed it out from an HP printer and it exactly matches the CBS pdf of your document. I have proved they are false once again. It´s easy - and fun. And it proves - once again - that you, Dan Rather, are a jerk.

The other people involved quickly shut up and the story soon died for lack of feeding.

Rather could have admitted ´we were had´ and the whole incident would have been over.

Instead he hired OJ to find out the truth. But some nasty business in Nevada made OJ unavailable.

Nasty thing to have your entire life´s work flushed due to your shrill devotion to the elite ruling class of the Democrat party (fewer cocktail party invites, etc).

Now, what if the marxist media devoted the same effort into Obama´s acceptance into Harvard? Or Hillary´s accessing FBI records to cover info on the Rose Law Firm (exit stage left Vince Foster via ´suicide´)?

Liberals scatter from truth like vampires in the sun.

Your friendly neighborhood columnist has once again run afoul of Facebook’s elusive community standards. Now before you call up the preacher and put me on the church prayer list – let me assure the posting was neither unseemly nor ungentlemanly. This time I was censored for writing something about Rancher Cliven Bundy. I realized I had landed in the Facebook gulag when I tried to post our daily Bible verse. However, I was unable to post anything because Facebook had taken great offense to something I had written. “We removed something your page posted,” Facebook told me in a rather unpleasant message.

President Obama addressed the White House press corps today, announcing that with the final numbers in, Obamacare´s exchanges have attracted eight million sign-ups -- 35 percent of whom are "under the age of 35," he said. Several elements of his comments were misleading: (1) At first blush, the 35 percent stat is both significant and impressive. As recently as last month, the share of "young invincibles" signing up for plans was struggling in the 25 percent range, far short of the actuarial target of nearly 40 percent. A leap into the mid-30´s, while still shy of the goal, would constitute a major step, and would bode well for the risk pools'

Rep. Colleen Hanabusa (D-HI) says her constituents are "frustrated and embarrassed" by Hawaii´s failed Obamacare exchange, which cost taxpayers $204 million and signed up only 8,000 people. Nearly half of American voters think the IRS targeted conservative groups at the request of the White House, and most want Congress to keep investigating the matter. The latest Fox News poll also finds 69 percent don’t feel President Obama has followed through on his vow to “find out exactly what happened on this.” By a 49-41 percent margin, voters believe the Obama administration “intentionally had the IRS target conservative political groups.” That includes 26 percent of Democrats, 52 percent of independents and 71 percent of Republicans. Meanwhile, 67 percent of voters want Congress to keep investigating the IRS until

Reacting to Sunday´s hate crime at two Jewish centers in Kansas City, Sen. Ed Markey (D-Mass.) and Rep. The Hate Crime Reporting Act of 2014 would examine the role of the Internet and other telecommunications in encouraging hate crimes based on gender, religion, ethnicity, or sexual orientation, and would provide recommendations to address such crimes. Even though the number of illegal immigrants who have been deported through the courts has dropped by 43% since President Barack Obama took office, the Obama administration may enact administrative changes to allow bond hearings for detained illegal immigrants. According to the Los Angeles Times, this could result in "several thousand" illegal immigrants being released from jails and "could slow the pace of deportations" even more. The Times notes that the White House is scrambling to "ease the concerns of Latino groups and other traditional allies that have turned on President Obama in recent weeks" by trying to brand him

It’s pitiful that we’ve reached this point, but Obama’s account of this chat really is more credible than Cantor’s. O’s position on immigration is straightforward: He wants amnesty badly, partly for legacy reasons and partly because he’s understandably keen to legalize a few million future Democratic voters, and he’s hoping the GOP will go along so that he doesn’t have to do something risky like an executive moratorium on deportations. The GOP leadership’s position is anything but straightforward. They’re convinced that they need to pass some sort of immigration bill before 2016 or else Latinos will hand the White House

When it comes to tracking the cost of Obama family vacations, there are two primary challenges. First, the Obamas are prolific jet-setters, so there are many details to track. Second, the Obama administration, clearly embarrassed by these lavish and frequent family vacations, stonewalls the release of records at every turn. But we have been relentless in pursuit of this information. Our attorneys file the lawsuits and make our case, and our investigators pour through pages of records and crunch the numbers. And the information we’ve uncovered – information that would otherwise remain under lock and key – shows that the
