| The U.S. Navy on Thursday released the service record of Christopher Dorner, who is wanted in connection with three shootings in the Los Angeles area. Dorner was commissioned in 2002, and his loss date was Feb. 1, 2013. During his time with the Navy he was stationed in San Diego, Bahrain, Nevada, and a "mobile inshore undersea warfare unit." Dorner has awards for pistol expertise and marksmanship. He has medals for National Defense Service, the Iraq Campaign, Global War on Terrorism Service, and Sea Service Deployment

Judging by Dorner´s training (and as assessed by my husband, who is a former Navty SEAL), those looking for him are much better trained than this sociopath. It´s only a matter of time before Dorner is found dead or alive. I predict he will not be found alive.

We do know more about Dorner´s military career that Kerry´s and a bit of digging will probably show a lot more on his academic records than we know about Obama...

He was a full lieutenant. With the exception of the old girlfriend who tries to paint him as a difficult person (he tried to get a restraining order against HER), and his own admission that he decided as a child to not tolerate racial slurs, he doesn´t seem to have been a problem person over the years - except for the LAPD.

A race-obsessed, grievance-obsessed, koolaid-drinking leftist drone who couldn´t get promoted to O-4, even in the PC addled modern day military, a nearly impossible feat. That said, the two recent ambush/summary execution attempts by the Torrance PD on complete innocents validate some of what he ranted.

Was wondering that as well, #2. Ironically, there´s a short video of Kerry on the right sidebar.
FTA: He [Dorner] has medals for National Defense Service, the Iraq Campaign, Global War on Terrorism Service, and Sea Service Deployment.
In other words, nothing remarkable, nothing noteworthy.... we used to call these "gedunk ribbons".
If this is all they´ve released of his records, they say pretty much ... nothing.

A Chechen man linked to one of the Boston Marathon bombing suspects was fatally shot early Wednesday in an unusual encounter with the FBI and other law enforcement officers in his apartment in Orlando. There seems to be bipartisan consensus that whatever the White House is doing to fend off scandal is making things worse. Howard Fineman sounds a lot like Right Turn these days: “White House aides are tempting fate with their reluctant, piecemeal and contradictory disclosures of what they knew and when they knew it, especially about a report on the Internal Revenue Service’s 18-month effort to target tea party and other conservative groups for special scrutiny.” The constantly shifting stories from Jay Carney and the IRS dissembling and pleas of ignorance only heighten concern that there has been serious wrongdoing.

The dam protecting the IRS scandal began to crack today when Lois Lerner, the IRS official who announced, and apologized for, the improper singling out of conservative-leaning organizations by IRS employees under her command, announced through her criminal defense lawyer that she will not testify as scheduled tomorrow before the House Oversight Committee. One of two men allegedly being questioned in connection with the Boston Marathon bombings was shot and killed by an FBI agent in Florida on Tuesday, (Snip)A friend of Ibragim Todashev said he and Todashev were being investigated as part of the Boston bombings. He said Todashev, 27, knew bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev because both were MMA fighters. The man claims he and Todashev were interviewed by the FBI for nearly three hours on Tuesday. The friend said he left the interview, and when he came back to the apartment he found that there had been a shooting.

The wheels came off the Obama administration yesterday. We learned of a startling assault on freedom of the press by the Department of Justice, following the revelation last week of the unprecedented information-gathering foray by that department against The Associated Press. Then, a few minutes later, the Justice Department’s inspector general released a report declaring that the US attorney in Arizona used the leak of a confidential memo to try to discredit a whistleblower in the notorious “gun-walking” scandal known as Fast and Furious (which got two federal agents killed). The leak was called “egregious.”

WASHINGTON – A top IRS official in the division that reviews nonprofit groups will invoke the Fifth Amendment and refuse to answer questions before a House committee investigating the agency’s improper screening of conservative nonprofit groups. Lois Lerner, the head of the exempt organizations division of the IRS, won’t answer questions about what she knew about the improper screening – or why she didn’t reveal it to Congress, according to a letter from her defense lawyer, William W. Taylor 3rd. Lerner was scheduled to appear before the House Oversight committee Wednesday.

The California Republican said Lerner’s Fifth Amendment right to avoid self-incrimination was voided when she gave an opening statement this morning denying any wrongdoing and professing pride in her government service. “When I asked her her questions from the very beginning, I did so so she could assert her rights prior to any statement,” Issa told POLITICO. “She chose not to do so — so she waived.”
