Beating the drums for Reconquista--the movement to take back the area of Texas through California for Mexico. They´ve never acknowledged the Treaty of Guadelupe-Hidalgo.

Dear La Raza Obama, I grew up in an area in S. AZ secured under The Gadsden Purchase (for those of you in public education - this may be you 1st time hearing about it) where we legally purchased a large section of the South West land from Mexico for our railroad.
Nothing was stolen. Nothing was taken. It is ours.

And you can´t have it back.

I know and have worked with a bunch of Spanish surnamed people who are descendents of the original Spanish colonizers of the Southwest. They´re Spanish not Mexicans even though the Southwest was a part of Mexico for about 27 years between the 1821 Mexican independence from Spanish colonial rule and the 1848 Treaty of Guadalupe-Hidalgo that ceded the Southwest to the USA. I can say with some authority that those Spaniards caught on the "Wrong side of the Border" harbor no great love for Mexico or things Mexican. Especially those mojados (wet ones) who have snuck into the country and are basically 95% indio and 5% Spanish aka mestizos.

This group was at one time a fairly dependable conservative GOP cohort until the Dems seduced them with promises of "free stuff" during the New Deal and reinforced by the Great Society of LBJ who derisively dismissed them as "Messkins".

I am waiting for Obama to declare the US the property of the Muslim Brotherhood... Declaring the indians are descendants of arabs...
