| Defense Secretary Leon E. Panetta on Thursday revealed he personally broke the news to President Obama that the U.S. diplomatic post in Benghazi, Libya, was under attack last year — but he and the president didn’t speak the rest of the night as the assault on the compound unfolded.Mr. Panetta said he and Mr. Obama, along with Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Martin E. Dempsey, discussed the attack for 15 minutes in the Oval Office the afternoon of Sept. 11,

The worthless piece of crap "commander in chief" couldn´t be bothered with trying to save American lives -- he had to get ready to go to a fundraiser in Las Vegas. I grieve for all our fine men and women in the military who have to serve under this ass clown.

None of this makes sense until you realize the essential truth: Obama-supporting Democrats do not want His Majesty to be, and definitely did not elect His Majesty to be, a good commander in chief. Obama-supporting Democrats loathe the American military even more than Clinton did - so why in the world would they want their anti-American Idol to act responsibly and patriotically in this part of his duties? They don´t. It´s obvious, when you see it.
Had they seriously wanted a responsible commander in chief, would they have ever considered voting for Obama? Of course not.

Unless the repub House and dim Senate are willing to do the right thing and remove Obie and the others responsible for the Benghazi crisis (the PIAPS can certainly try on a pair of handcuffs as she is led to prison), nothing will change. His troll Carney will continue to confuse and confound right out of the liberal play book.

Zippy didn´t even touch the ball. All he did was call for some ambiguous play in the huddle and walk off the field. In classic ´´lead-from-behind´´ form, the gutless wonder evinced a dereliction of duty heretofore unmatched by any past president.

Detached Barry sat out Benghazi??? Well, surprise, surprise, surprise!
IMO, President Jarret told him that he needed to be as far away from the Benghazi events as he could get. Making the domestic political assessment, I think she told him to, ´´Let Leon handle it.´´ Political considerations --- especially late in the reelection campaign --- trump everything in this WH, and certainly did on this one. Despicable.

In the case of Bin Laden, Obie insinuated himself into the middle of the action post hoc, because it was a successful mission. In this case he´s in "the buck never got here" mode because the outcome was horrific. So horrific, that he would rather look unpresidential by his lack of leadership, than to be responsible for what will eventually be revealed as an impeachable secret gun running operation to aid al Queda.
Now, what is Hillary´s excuse for being AWOL? These were her people who were operating on her orders. Why was she unavailable?
The all need to come before a select committee.

Perhaps Panetta and Dempsey did nothing because they didn´t have CBA (Cross Border Authority) from Obama... Where was the Commander in Chief that night as our people fought to their deaths? Where was Obama as our military couldn´t help our people under fire, fighting for their lives in the name of our president, sent there by him for the USA...but got no help.... as they had no permission?
Was he playing basketball? With Reggie Love? Was he drunk? MIA? Dereliction of duty? Just doesn´t care if Americans are slaughtered?

Panetta stated he, Hillary and Dempsey wanted to send help into Syria..to arm the rebels...but Obama would not give permission...This is a set-up. Another LIE
They were gun running and Missile running out of the Benghazi Annex. British papers are reporting weapons from Benghazi are showing up in Syria and in Algeria....being used by AlQaeda. Which is why Panetta is erecting a wall saying Obama would not agree to arm the rebels....BECAUSE he was ILLEGALLY SELLING ARMS TO OUR ENEMY ALQAEDA and Benghazi was the point of sale for arms running... the Lockheed COO resigned when Petraus did for the same BS reason which stinks because he had tripled arms sales, yes 3x the arms sales in 2011....
Guess we know where those 40,000 missing missile and Man-pads came from that Congressman Jason Chaffetz referred to that were missing out of Libya...
Obama armed the Middle East for the Arab Spring that turned it over to the IsalmoCommunists, The Muslim Brotherhood.

Question: What is worse than the pathetic empty chair that somehow still bears the title CIC?
Answer: The people who are protecting him - like Panetta saying there is no doubt in his mind that Obama cared about those who died while hoping our CIC would send help.
One of the things that Panetta said is that they were getting ready to deploy. So what happened? Didn´t someone contact Obama to ask for the authority? Panetta said he only talked to zero once. Someone else must have asked, right? Seems to me there is a lot more to know.

And they still won´t talk about it. 0bama can´t be bothered with things like this. He and his delightful wife are in it for the perks only. He´s a national disgrace and the most destructive man ever to reside in the White House. I pray with all my might that there comes a day where he will pay for what he has done to us and this country. Of course they didn´t bother him anymore. The plan was going as scripted, the ambassador was being kidnapped. The meddling Seals missed things up and Stevens got killed. Obama retired to his privacy to get stoned on cocain to celebrate the anniversary of 9-11-01 and when the botched plot was discovered, the phony documentary story went ahead as planned.

The problem was that there was no leadership. Obama didn´t step up, Panetta didn´t step up, Clinton didn´t step up.
Obama proved over and over again that he is no leader during his stint in Harvard and state and federal legislature. He chose Panetta, who is a career bureaucrat, to ´lead´ DoD. Panetta has stepped up with women in combat and benefits to ´gay partners´ as his signature accomplishments.
The administration is a hollow vacuum from the top down.

Huckabee played clips of Senator Lindsey Graham absolutely hammering Panetta in the hearings. Panetta was desperately trying to give Obama cover and avoid answering Graham´s relentless questioning. It was Graham who got Panetta to finally admit that Obama bugged out during the crisis. Graham has been terrific the last couple of weeks in the various Senate hearings from Hagel´s confirmation, gun control and Panetta. Limbaugh continues to besmirch Senator Graham when he should be getting kudos. So..was Panetta the acting POTUS or was it Valerie Jarrett or Michelle ? Where was Obama that night and what was he doing ? The 25th Amendment must be invoked when the president is unable to perform the duties of the office. Biden should have been the one legally acting as POTUS. Lawless doesn´t even begin to describe this administration. We do not have an ethical national media , the Democrats will always cover for Obama , the Republicans are the minority party in the Senate, down 10 seats , and the House Republicans have a shrunken majority . It´s almost impossible to hold Obama accountable and he knows it.

Obama is a muslim with black power/Black Panther sympathies going back to 20 years with Rev. Wright. Eric Holder is the same kind of racist. I bet if Panneta told Obama on 9/11/2012 that the four trapped Americans in Benghazi were blacks then Obama would have send gunships to help them right away.

Pennetta talked to Obama about the trapped Americans at 5 0PM for 15 minutes on 9/11/2012. After that, Peneta could not reach Obama. Where was Obama all night were he could not be found? Was he drunk, or high on dope, or was he shooting basketball. Two weeks later, Obama in a speech to the UN still blamed the Benghazi violence on a silly video made by an old Coptic man living in Los Angeles. Obama, Susan Rice and Hillary all lied, lied and LIED and our pinko media bought it hook, line and sinker. So, could it be possible they were together on the night of the attack and that´s why neither one of them was available? I mean BOTH were unavailable at the same exact time? What are the odds of that? And that´s why they jumped on the video story. And that´s why the poor man that made the video is still in jail so that Moochelle and the Bent One and all the little Moochelles and Chelsea can be spared the embarrassment of this possible liaison? Huh? Possible? Truth is stranger than fiction as someone said.
Sarcasm now off....If I could be more disgusted with anyone than these Obama administration lowlifesy, it would be the hypocritical, bottom feeding, dishonest press. As someone who has been in theaters where people have not turned off their cell phones, I have many long, elaborate fantasies about what I would like to do to those people. In some of these fantasies, I merely clear my throat loudly or poke them a little with a sharpened umbrella. In my more grotesque imaginings, I shout, “FIRE!” “Where?” everyone else in the theater asks. “Right here,” I say, touching a lit match to the hem of the offender’s coat.

Has President Nixon been replaced by Sergeant Schultz? The “Smartest President Ever” has disappeared. The Barack Brain Trust long-touted by liberals is gone — replaced by hacks whose rallying cry is straight from Stalag 13—“I know nothing. Nothing!” The top law enforcement agency in the land spied on the top news-gathering organization, secretly seizing phone records from their home and cell phones. They did so without the legally required notice to the Associated Press. And what did Attorney General Eric Holder say when asked why his Department of Justice would do such a thing?

We are in the midst of the worst Washington scandal since Watergate. The reputation of the Obama White House has, among conservatives, gone from sketchy to sinister, and, among liberals, from unsatisfying to dangerous. No one likes what they´re seeing. The Justice Department assault on the Associated Press and the ugly politicization of the Internal Revenue Service have left the administration´s credibility deeply, probably irretrievably damaged. They don´t look jerky now, they look dirty. The patina of high-mindedness the president enjoyed is gone.

There’s a problem for President Obama in dealing with the cascading public-relations crises involving the Internal Revenue Service and the Department of Justice — a problem that can’t be repaired by “fixing the problem,” as he promised to do yesterday with the IRS in a rainy press conference at the White House. The problem is that these are agencies the Obama presidency has empowered and is in the process of empowering still further. They are arms of the federal government whose authority and reach he wishes to increase — at a time

In 1977, I was publishing a small newspaper in the Bronx, the Parkway News. There was a mayoral candidate who wasn’t being taken seriously. He was destined to become a footnote in a field dominated by such names as Bella Abzug, Herman Badillo, incumbent mayor Abraham Beame, Mario Cuomo, and Percy Sutton. Many thought the Parkway News was crazy to cast its lot with the quirky candidate it favored, but I saw something special in that candidate, Edward I. Koch. Today I say do not write off Anthony Weiner.

Nice try, Mr. President. Feigning anger, firing an unknown bureaucrat and fleeing the podium won’t cut it with voters, or stop the hemorrhaging of the scandals that have spawned a Watergate-like feel around the Obama administration. There was a certain panicky look about the way the president quickly delivered a rare evening White House statement to try to quell the growing outrage over the IRS targeting of Tea Party groups. The move showed how damaging the scandal has become to Obama’s second term and maybe even his presidency. But Obama took no questions and, more importantly,

STANDING BEFORE reporters Thursday, President Obama declined an invitation to compare the recent scandals weighing down his administration with those that forced President Nixon to resign in 1974. So allow us to do the work for him: There is no comparison. Nixon, in a series of crimes that collectively came to be known as Watergate, directed from the White House and Justice Department a concerted campaign against those he perceived as political enemies, in the process subverting the FBI, the IRS, other government agencies and the electoral process to his nefarious purposes. Mr. Obama has done nothing of the kind.

Ms. Abedin did not disclose the arrangement — or how much income she earned — on her financial report. It requires officials to make public any significant sources of income. An adviser to Mrs. Clinton, Philippe Reines, said that Ms. Abedin was not obligated to do so. The disclosure of the agreement that Ms. Abedin made with the State Department comes as her husband,

The documents, first reported by THE WEEKLY STANDARD in articles here and here, directly contradict claims by White House press secretary Jay Carney and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton that the revisions of those talking points were driven by the intelligence community and show heavy input from top Obama administration officials, particularly those at the State Department.

That they see a president who´s very vulnerable politically. Is there a danger that they will overreach?" Chief White House correspondent Chuck Todd agreed with the slanted premise: "There is. I mean, that´s what happened to Republicans in 1998 with Bill Clinton.

The sight of a Marine holding an umbrella over his head only added to the weirdness of the event. So what did we learn? 1. He has full confidence in Attorney General Eric Holder, the man who purportedly recused himself (whenever) without putting it in writing (whatever). When asked about the untrammeled snooping on Associated Press reporters and editors,
